Built in 2011, the Aparthotel del Mar is on the seafront in Banjole, 2.5 miles from Pula. It has bright, air-conditioned apartments with satellite TV, as well as a gym, ice cream bar, 2 restaurants and grocery shop.
Linens are changed weekly, and towels are changed every 4 days. The final cleaning is included in the rate. The Aparthotel has a spacious lobby and outdoor terrace.
Free private parking is available, and lounge chairs and sun umbrellas are at your disposal by the pool. Massage treatments can be booked on site.

Review 1：Staff were a bit rude to us we think this could be because we came from a local festival and they may have stereotyped us and also cause it was becoming end of season also the pool water was very cold

Review 5：I really do not have lots of negative comments, but I would like topoint out 2 things I disliked. The staff is nice and helpful in generalbut when we asked what is there to do in a rainy day that replied with"not much". They did not tell us that close by is Premanturawhere you can get a lot of activities like scuba diving, parasailing,surfing, etc. or find something to do there even if its not so greatweather. Also I have a negative comment regarding the company that takesyou to boat rides from the front of the hotel. They mislead us for 2days and did not take us to the ride, instead of just saying that itscanceled. After almost wasting 2 days for nothing the staff called themand told us its cancelled. However they should have told us that thereare trips starting from Medulin and we could start from there.

Review 6：Nice hotel on a lovely place. Great for people with children, olderpeople and anyone who wants to relax, however I would not recommend itfor young people who come to have fun. I liked the kitchen that haseverything for your basic needs. Some other commentators have reallyoutlandish requests. There is anything that a group of 2-4 people needin an apartment. Great place to stay.

Review 7：We stayed with 4 people in one room; there's one double bed and one couch bed. The bed was OK, but the couch bed was a nightmare for two adults. No breakfast included. Pula (closest city) is like 10-15 min driving.

Review 8：We arrived way too early before the check-in time, but the staff prepared the room for us anyway (honestly, we had to wait till 2 PM before we could enter; resulting that we need to wait an hour before going in our room, we just hiked a bit at the nearby forest). Parking is free, but weirdly enough not accessible with an elevator.

Review 9：There is no information about the deployment of parking spaces around the hotel. This generates some confusion especially when you arrive. Although parking was sufficient (mid-September).

Review 10：Location and access to all necessary services are the biggest advantages of this resort. The beach is very good (considering this is Croatia :-).

Review 11：It was hard for us to find, our GPS couldn't find it. By the time we checked in and ate dinner, the pool was closed. Dinner was bit on pricey side and nothing that we loved. No room to park.

Review 12：Hotel itself was nice. Would be a nice place to stay more than one night. If you're just staying one night it would be a waste.

Review 13：I had booked a larger room that was supposed to be big enough for 6 adults. Upon check-in, I was given a room that was not big enough for myself and my two older children. I was told that the room booked was not a guarantee, only a request. Upon my complaint, they revised my booking and gave me a suitable room, but I was not happy that they would have taken my extra money for a smaller room . 4pm check-in time and 930am check-out time not very good. The beds were hard and the wifi was not good.

Review 17：The staff wasn't very friendly and seemed to be bothered by guests, or maybe just us? The wifi was terrible. It was always disconnecting to where you were having to repeatedly enter the access codes or it just wouldn't work at all. The couch in my room was stained, ripped, and twice a day we had to call staff in to help us to set up the bed inside of the couch or to put it away because we could not do it on our own. At one point they had to use a crowbar!

Review 18：The view from the room was beautiful. The resort also had an open area near the dining facilities that was a great place for the kids to play while the adults relaxed. There was also a well supplied market.

Review 19：Unhelpful staff, phone didn't work, noisy neighbours and staff did nothing after complaint, broken toilet seat that was not fixed even after reported, spare blanket was dirty. also waited nearly 45 mins at reception just to collect our passports. Needs more staff. At nearly £800 for just accommodation self catering I would not say this was good value for money.

Review 23：1. Only two big and two small towels for two adults and two big kids 15 and 17. Changed only after 4 days. 2. The Air conditioner is set by front desk and the room is always very hot. 3. The apartment was very small and very uncomfortable. way to small for 4 people. I stayed at 4 places in Croatia this summer through booking .com 3 of them were 3 star and this was 4 star bit all of the 3 star facilities were mush larger and the service was mush better 4, The stove top burners were on able to be set to HOT HOT and made very hard to cook anything the pots and pans are very cheep, 5. the contact number is 500 but I must called it 20 times but on;y received one response. Always has to walk to front desk. 6. The entertainment was definatly done on a budget. 7. i would not stay again. i9 would recommend small homes with apartment they are a much better deal

Review 29：Room not ready when we arrived at 5pm, although check in is at 4 pm? Finally got into our room at 7pm. Cleaners still in room at 6.45pm and left door wide open so room full of mosquitos. Beach towels not provided, told we could buy some for 100 kunas each. Paid for superior sea view, given a view of the car park!! Check out was too early at 9.30am. Reception always had a very long 15 min queue full of people complaining about many issues. Very disappointed in this aparthotel. It was the most expensive of the 5 hotels we stayed in, and the others were excellent but this one was poor.

Review 33：I expected really great service for that kind of money (3 adults, 2 kids, pet), its declared seaside view and image on the internet. Why then I had to - Buy satchels & monitor & throw by our selves the trash - Buy & monitor toilet paper - Had poor sea view - seeing mainly yachts and opposite houses - Half board offered only on reception at the wall as small notice (by the way 30EUR a day/person??) - Could walk in the evenings only couple of meters to the left or right side of resort - afraid of walking further due to dark / missing lights on (by the way short) recommended beach - checked-in at 16h? For peak season it is not possible to travel to HR during a day (Saturdays), therefore we came earlier. Nobody understands that their customers could prefer check-in earlier (even for extra cash) - (after checked out) waited for someone to check if everything is OK with room - swimming in little dirty sea? (due to the fact that it is inlet) - plenty of cars parking wherever possible around hotel - one bedroom available right after opening front door - first day somebody was trying to open our door in the night and during a night there was 2x alarm somewhere close - as the sea was not too much accessible my kids sometimes preferred swimming pool (which by the way can be anywhere else as well in my country) - toilet little higher/harder to sit - air condition for the whole apartment just ON/OFF... not possible to decrease blowing or temperature or manage separately by room

Review 35：There was 2 girls on the desk and they totally unprofessional. they never smiled and short answers all the time made you feel really unwelcome. we had no water for one evening and the girl said everybody had no water. So that was that no explanation. The shower in the room was poor pressure my wife could not wash her hair. I explained this and she laugh at me. I asked for it to be fixed she said she would but nothing was done. I asked later if it was done and she said yes. Lies. There is not enough staff on the desk when people are checking out and the girls are not very professional at this time as they cannot handle the work.

Review 36：The restaurant facilities and staff were second to none. they were brilliant. pool and amities were very good.

Review 37：I've seen it written in other reviews and it is true, the mattresses on the main bed (not sofa bed) are unfortunately really uncomfortable. The wifi in the bedroom part of the apartments was very weak and kept dropping. The restaurant and supermarket are quite expensive. Towels are only changed after 4 days which is not great with kids! Its hard to get beds by the pool at high-season (but thats probably true everywhere!). Finally, 9.30 am check out time is a bit too early!

Review 38：This is a perfect apart-hotel for families with kids. We travelled with a 7yr old (boy) and 13yr old (girl) and they both loved it. The beach is right beside the hotel and great for swimming and snorkelling and the pool is lovely. The apartments are well designed with a good kitchen space (2-ring hob, full-sized fridge, well stocked with kitchenware) and almost everything you need. The supermarket is small but really well stocked and has a good bakery. We didn't leave the resort for the full week!

Review 39：Bed uncomfortable. You can ask for an extra mattress pad, but there are only a limited number available... Free Wi-Fi is a joke. Works very poor.

Review 44：The weather is great and the flight time is good. But I would suggest 2 weeks is too long at this venue. However , it is better to be staying here then in Medulin. That place is a car crash.. I would not recommend it but banjole is quieter and cleaner. There beach was the best part for us.

Review 49：Pool area is really nice, always available sun beds, and also easy to walk down the stairs and have a swim in the sea for those ones preferring that. Hotel feels modern, restaurant at the "piazza" is nice with good service and value-for-money. Nice to hang out on the piazza at evenings.

Review 50：They didn't say from our arrival and neither from our booking reservation that our towels will be changed once at 4 days. Also, they did not clean the apartment and did not put any toilet paper and all future guests should know that this treatment is for all who choose apartment. This would have been ok if we had known since the beginning, in order to be more careful with our towels resources :). Another bad point was that the wi-fi was almost not working at all. It constantly asked for your password and the speed was very bad; I couldn't open Webpages, not to mention refresh Facebook wall.

Review 51：Extremely comfortable. I stayed in a 2-bedroom and one living apartment fully-featured with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The resort offered plenty of Extra activities like aqua-aerobics, mini club for kinds. The pool area was very clean and nice.

Review 52：It was loud, kids running around uncontrolled everywhere. Doors slamming all night long. NO security at all. Anybody can walk in and use any of the amenities and they have no way of knowing. I suggest staying at another hotel and coming to this one to use the pool/beach, etc. Wifi barely worked as well.

Review 61：The check out process. Although the staff was quick, it was just a weird process. The market closes early, so make sure you get what you need before 8pm, otherwise you will have to make a trip outside the facility.

Review 63：This place was extremely off the beaten path. Bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable!!! It was like sleeping on an elevated floor. Our sons said the pull out was more comfortable which speaks volumes! The room was not the cleanest. No microwave to reheat leftovers. No wash cloths, requested them & only received more bath towels. Free wifi codes were not given upon check in and I was not able to locate offer of free wifi until the evening prior to departure, so a waste. ATM does not accept debit cards without chip so I had to trek to nearest gas station(about 1000 meters away) to get cash in time for the glass bottom boat ride @ 7pm.

Review 67：The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit isnot very cold. Our room was never colder than 26*celsius. The"lifeguard on duty" was always sleeping or on his phone.Thankfully most actually supervise their own children.

Review 68：We had a great time at this resort. The kids club and staff iswonderful. The front desk was helpful and assisted when they could. Thegame room was great for the kids. They have laundry facilities thatincluded laundry detergent tabs ( for a fee ) They offer excursionsright from the dock and hotel such as Dolphins excursions, glass boattour and trips to Venice or Plitvice on certain days/times of theweek/end. The restaurant onsite offers great food with friendlystaff. The market must have changed the times because after readingreviews, many complained about the short hours yet it was open from 10-8pm. The prices are a bit high but understandable. Since it is anaparthotel, they do not change linens and towels daily nor providecleaning services. The beach and pool were very nice! I highly recommendbringing your own beach towels!

Review 77：La habitación es muy reducida. El sofá cama es de pésima calidad. La habitación cuenta con un "servicio de refrigeración" en una sola de las habitaciones y hace tanto pero tanto ruido, que se vuelve imposible dormir. Las paredes son de papel y se escucha absolutamente todo lo que sucede en las habitaciones vecinas. Pésimo lugar para descansar. Se ofrece un desayuno buffet en el restaurant pero decidimos no tomarlo por su estado catastrófico y por las moscas que lo sobrevolaban. La piscina lo es todo. Y aún así, el horario es muy reducido.

Review 78：La piscina es linda y grande. El paisaje lo es todo. La playita queda a dos minutos caminando. Está bien señalizado cómo llegar al resort.

Review 79：Checkin is too late (4pm), checkout is too early (9:30am), though we were allowed late checkout on request. Pool is open only 9-19, which makes not much sense to me: the beach is too far and not so nice as elsewhere in Croatia, so if you stay there, you'll likely want to use the pool, provided it is open. If you like evening swim, bad luck, go to the sea. Rooms with sea view are nice, others are so-so. Air conditioning didn't work well (even when set at the lowest setting of 18 `C, real room temperature was at 27 `C, while outdoors temperature was 18-20 `C). Wished there was more silence.

Review 89：The market closed at noon, which is very inconvenient when you don't check in until 2:00 pm. They do not re-supply toiletries and are skimpy with what they initially provide. There is no pool bar and no snack bar near the pool. There is a beach bar down at the beach, but it had not yet opened for the season. It is pretty far from everything. A car is definitely needed. You hear a lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms. They do not provide towels for the pool, but you can buy one for about 12 Euro!

Review 90：The view was great. There was a small beach nearby. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. We were there pre-tourist season, so there was no breakfast buffet, but they took orders and it was quite good. We did not eat in the restaurants for other meals. The small market was well stocked.

Review 91：In the middle of nowhere. To get to Pula we used a taxi at 120 HRK each way. No new towels for the week we spent. No cleaning of the room and we had to take out the garbage ourselves. Guests are asked to put all the kitchen equipment on the table for inspection before leaving. We have never experienced this before in any hotel or apartment. Not a very friendly "goodbye" to the guests!

Review 105：We always choose apart hotels and i can tell this was not a four stars one. First, they charged us the amount for the apartment in the moment of check-in. Usually we are paying at check out. Second, our appartments were at the first floor with view in the parking (at the level of the wheels). There was no soap in the bathroom, only 2 toilet paper and no shampoo. Five days nobody came to our room and nobody ever care about us. When walking next to the reception nobody even smile or nod to us. Third, the bedroom was the first room in the apartment so you do not have natural light, cannot have air, whenever open the door everybody can see your pijama and there was noise from the hall till late night and early in the morning. There were only three towels for 4 people and the bed was made just for two. For the money paid we have expected 4 stars quality.

Review 119：The only thing that I would like is a village nearby, there were other restaurants closeby which was very good but no real village. I don´t like all the guests who put their towels on the chairs by the pool and leave them there all day without being there. But that is not the hotels fault....

Review 120：The Apart Hotel del Mar was a great apartmenthotel. We arrived early and the reception was great, they speeded the cleaning of our room so we got it earlier. They personel were very friendly and helpful in reception, restaurant and shop. The pool was perfect for our kids who loved it, it was crowded but that was expected since the hotel was fully booked. Our room was small but very well planned. We had a great time at Apart Hotel del Mar!

Review 121：Make sure you bring a car otherwise your options are isolated. The music at night from the DJ can at times be very loud dominating the whole hotel area.

Review 122：Very modern new apartments, balcony with sea view offers large space to relax and enjoy the sun (2 bedroom apartment with sea view). Boat trips nearby outside hotel. Swimming in sea easy directly outside hotel. More restaurants nearby than anticipated before. Very good experience overall.

Review 123：The pool rules were very laid back so while this suits older kids who want to jump in and throw balls it meant staying very close to my six year old. Other than this pools were great.

Stayed in the annex to main building which is a group of "superior apartments" right next to main building, turned out to be better newer accommodation with own pool and we still had easy access to main pool and facilities. Would recommend this. two other families in our group stayed in main building and their accommodation was also good if not as well laid out. Mini Market downstairs in main building and supermarket about twenty minutes walk away with bigger range.

Review 132：We had the feeling that we were asked to pay for every little 'extra'. A few examples: in such a modern facility we would expect to have WIFI at a reasonable price, here we would have been asked to pay per device. We run out of toilet paper and were asked by the hotel staff, to pay for extra rolls, when we checked out, the staff confirmed that the apartmant was is good quality, but we were asked to return to take out the garbage, etc. So all in all a nice place, with poor service.

Review 137：The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the apt was quite cramped with four people. The parking also filled up at night, we got in late one night and had to really search to find a spot and with only one entrance into the hotel it was kind of pain.

Review 138：The pools and game room were a big hit with our kids, there was a lot of activities also available to do...there was a restaurant and ice cream shop on the grounds. There was also a beach right outside the grounds as well. The apartment was clean and very modern. The staff was helpful, friendly and spoke very good English. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Review 139：When we checked in they expected us to pay for the room, not at checkout. The total was €40 more than the price booking.com gave me, because of the city tax. So beware of the taxes! For the most part, the front reception was helpful. I only encountered one very rude person. I can see why so many people said that their staff is rude, because most are not too eager to help and seem a little bothered when you ask a lot of questions. We brought our dog with us, and we were a little disappointed that dogs were not allowed on the beach next to the hotel, restaurants at the hotel, or the open area where they play music at night. So it's not very pet friendly. Also, pets are €12 extra per day, which is an average fee.

Review 140：Rooms were clean, bed was a bit on the firm side but not too bad (I prefer a soft mattress), and kitchen had adequate supplies. I read a lot of reviews on this place before I booked, so I knew to bring dish soap, sponge, etc. because they do not supply those items. Lots of good places to eat close by, within walking distance (Barka was by far the best!). To get to Pula you'll need a bike or vehicle. Beach right next to the hotel and the beach right down the road had aqua parks, inflatable obstacle courses, which was great for our oldest boy...cost was 40-50 kunas (or roughly €5-€7) per hour. Overall we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our visit.

Review 141：The staff in the actual apartment/hotel and the restaurants were very good. the staff in the supermarket were very poor, it seemed like a major inconvenience for them if they had to stop and serve a customer.
