Review 1：Lack of functional shutters or effective curtains - luckily I brought an eye mask. Rooms disappointing compared with lovely gardens - quite simple though comfortable, few toiletries provided (no cotton wool or body lotion) and little space to store own toiletries

Review 11：The room was nice but smaller than expected. There was no WiFi in theroom, though near the window I was able to pick up a weak signal fromthe lobby. We had two unpleasant surprises. First, we had to climb twostores with steep and narrow stairs to access the room (#25). It must besaid that our baggage was swiftly delivered to our room, but still eachclimb left me breathless, though I am in a relatively good physicalshape. The second unpleasant surprise was that the hotel restaurant wasfully booked for the first two evenings of our stay. In the firstevening there was a wedding, and much of the hotel's public spacewas reserved for the wedding guests only.
Review 12：Villa Giulia is a traditional Italian villa with a beautiful gardenright on the shore of Lake Garda. Having breakfast on the terrace was anexperience to remember. There is a private beach, and swimming there canbe very refreshing on a hot summer day. The whole place has an ambianceof rustic elegance. The room description said "garden view",but there was still a nice view of the lake from the large window. Ishould also add that the service was impeccable. The hotel is about fiveminutes of a pleasant walk from the Gargnano port. There is virtually notraffic noise.
