Review 1：Such friendly hosts, bedrooms are nice & comfortable, delicious breakfast, & perfect location. We loved it so much that on our way back to Rek, we stayed for another night. I would def recommend this place to anyone. We look forward to returning. Thank you again for making this a wonderful experience!
Review 2：Very nice and large clean room. Carina was very friendly and welcoming. We were a little concerned about the shared bathroom situation, but it was no problem at all. Very quiet - we could barely hear the other guests at night. Tasty breakfast.
Review 3：It sucks to get stuck in a terrible winter storm on your first trip to Iceland, but if you have to be stuck one place, Guesthouse Carina is the place to be!
Review 4：Everything was the same as picture provided from Carina Guesthouse. Very good quality of bed, clean and comfortable. Location is easy to find, and they have the friendliest staff members. Provided free hearty breakfast, one of the best waffles too. Clean shared bathrooms, they have separated wc as well. Wifi was excellent. We had nice view from our bedroom too.
Review 5：Guesthouse Carina was a great place to stay on our travels along the South coast. The rooms are really nice and spacious. Comfortable beds, lovely and warm, and nice clean bathrooms. The breakfast was nice. Carina is really friendly and gave us tips on where to eat and help in seeing the northern lights which we were lucky enough to see.

Review 14：A 5-star hotel breakfast! Different kinds of bread (and I think they baked it themseöves the previous evening), dairy products, vegetables, fruit.. You can even make waffles if you want. The room was clean and the bedsheets seemed pretty new. The staff was really friendly and they gave us advice for the next day in the village. The guesthouse was easy to find. If you are driving from Reykjavik it is just next to Route 1 before the village of Vik.

Review 21：- There are only 2 showers for the whole guesthouse - You can use just only microwave, no spoon fork or dishwashing liquid. Not allow to use the kitchen. - We forgot an instant noodle approx 20 packs, there wasn't any contact from the guesthouse.

Review 31：The guesthouse is close to the main Road 1. It is quaint and quite big with 2 toilets and 2 showers + toilets. It had a very nice and open feeling. Carina was extremely nice. She was there at 2100 when I checked in and was up early in the morning baking fresh bread. Highly recommended!

Review 33：This is an adorable guesthouse at soon as you enter Vik. The owner is lovely and kind! The breakfast that she makes in the morning was certainly the best I had during my stay in Iceland! I loved the view from my room, outside my window I had a perfect view of the church on the hill.

Review 35：The breakfast was the best we had of all the hostels we stayed in during our time in Iceland. Homemade bread, jam, cinnamon rolls and waffles. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfy.
Review 36：3 rooms with thin wood doors next to entrance. Hence to much noise with people arriving, departing, suitcases, toiletflushing. All it needs is a sign to remind people to be more silent at night and better doors.

Review 42：Carina was a great host and made a mean breakfast, including an amazing rhubarb/chocolate/coconut pie. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We liked waking up to the sight of Icelandic horses grazing just outside our window. A great place from which to explore the south of the country. It might be relevant for some travellers to know that there is no shared kitchen but that didn't affect our stay.

Review 49：The logistics of the setup need to be worked out. There is no checkin location, no posted rules or expectations, the bathrooms need to have more clearly defined "occupied" / "un-occupied" indications for comfort of the guests (there are only three baths for the whole house), rules for allowed / dis-allowed use of the kitchen.
Review 50：Great to have another place available to stay in Vik. This small town has a lot to offer, but previously not much in terms of accommodations. It is a great launching point for the South of Iceland. The property is newly renovated, with new updates coming all the time. The owners are young and ambitious, so I expect the premises to continually improve.
