Reviews for Hotel Casa A Colori
Review 1:The WIFI does not work in the rooms. No protection on the windows against insects.
Review 2:Excellent location between Padua and Venizia. Nice atmosphere inside. The best for this money.
Review 3:They should invest in air conditioning devices in the room. During hot summer time it would make sleeping easier...
Review 4:Very nice and helpful staff. Good location near Venice, low prices and a good quality.
Review 5:The air conditioning in the rooms doesn't work, it only heats, our room was 40c making it impossible to sleep. We had to take cold showers during the night to cool down. We only stayed for 2 days out of the the 4 we paid for as the rooms were so hot making it impossible to sleep.
Review 6:Staff were very friendly and the hotel restaurant is very good.
Review 7:Although we knew that there isn't air condition, (only fan instead, which helped) it would be really helpfull in a peak of summer on a very hot day.
Review 8:Very nice and welcoming staff, ready to prepare meal even very late. Beautifull old property, very nicely renovated, with big garden outside with lot's of shade. We loved silence during the night - since hotel is in the surbub, we couldn't here one sound which was very relaxing.
Review 9:It is far away from public transport which is bus, like 15minutes. If you have suitcase it will take mostly 30 minutes because the road is paved but, walking road is too narrow and cars run pretty fast. If you have own your car, would be the best. And WiFi can be used in lounge. You cannot use in your room and to get to lounge, you need to get outside and walk few seconds
Review 10:super polite and kind receptionist and comfortable bed, clean bathroom like a hotel
Review 11:Wifi working really bad inside the building. We could hear everything from the rooms next to ours.
Review 12:Dinners served at the hotel were really tasty and the atmosphere created by the multilingual staff was just perfect.
Review 13:- none
Review 14:- very nice and helpful personel, which speaks english (!) - nice, clean, spacious room - fast wi-fi connection - lovely place - near to Venice and Padova
Review 15:It was a good stay. Please have all the info for Venice ready at the hotel. All details for bus, hours of operations for the bus, price etc. would be the most apreciated things to know by all visitors to this hotel. Maps with Venice would be usefull too. Thanks
Review 16:20 minute walk to bus stop, 35 minute ride to Venice. It didn't bother me because I was on no time table. But if I was, it would have been an issue
Review 17:Liked that it was intimate, and secluded at night time... "Off the beaten path" if you will. Restaurant and employees are what would make me come back
Review 18:The building is beautifully designed, as are the rooms. It has a big garden, big parking lot and lots of green space. The staff is very nice and helpful. Dolo is a lovely quiet little town, very few tourists. You can catch the bus to Venice( 30 min ride).
Review 19:The shower cabin is a bit small.
Review 20:The beds are very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The historic building of the hotel has been delicately restored. There is also an Osteria right in the hotel courtyard.
Review 21:breakfast was not ready at 07:30 A.M. as announced and waiter seemed to emerge from the Nirvana!
Review 22:No wi-fi on last floor
Review 23:Personel is great, especially Sabina!
Review 24:Without air conditioning, but not very hot in rooms
Review 25:Free parking space, Wi-Fi, lovely architecture.
Review 26:The breakfast
Review 27:The peace of the location.
Review 28:There was no possibility to connect WiFi in the room.
Review 29:Hotel personnel, location of the hotel, garden, view from the room.
Review 30:Hospitality, wonderful, suggestive place (old monastery), clean, quiet.
Review 31:in a hotel type accommodation should be at room fridge, small selection of varieties of bread
Review 32:interesting reconstruction of an old building at hotel
Review 33:The hotel and its position are a bit gloomy. The breakfast is below poor!
Review 34:We stayed in Dolo 1 night, and as for the value for money it has what it takes - quiet room, responsive staff, 10 minutes walking from Dolo's attraction (Enoteca Il Mulino bar restaurant is such a nice place!!!), has a parking lot and pretty cheap. Also the smells from the cooked dishes at night were tempting (too bad the chef doesn't cook for breakfast).
Review 35:The breakfast was poor - basically it was cornflakes, stale bread and jam and machine coffee/tea. It wouldn't take much to improve this breakfast and then the hotel would be absolutely great.
Review 36:The rooms are spacious, clean and the public areas are spacious. There is a lift (handy for suitcases). We needed help with sorting out a problem and we didn't have enough Italian to be able to handle it. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, making phone calls, sending faxes and emails and helping us fill in forms. We were very thankful. This is a very economical hotel, there is a little cafe onsite too for an evening meal - cheap and cheerful.
Review 37:The breakfast was poor (they did not offered ham or cheese, only sweet cakes and some fruites), the rooms were hot.
Review 38:It's a cozy and quiet place, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant.
Review 39:Not air-conditioned room (it was very hot)
Review 40:Very helpful english speaking staff. Nice room, good location for visiting Venice (bus stop at 1,5 Km in Dolo center). The on-site restaurant has very simple but rather nice menu. Big parking place.
Review 41:No working aircondition. It was very hot and it was impossible to cool the room in the night. Breakfast was rather modest - mostly packed cakes.
Review 42:Close to Venice, free parking, friendly staff
Review 43:We had a car but must be difficult to reach the hotel by bus or train. The staff is helpfull and enthusiastic though it needs a bit of more experience, especially at the restaurant. Still it is a lovely place.
Review 44:The hotel is charming, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpfull.
Review 45:a problem met also in other hotels in Italy - our hair-dryer could not be plugged in (different size of the socket). unfortunately, at the reception it was no adaptor available. would be nice to organize an open terrace for breakfast.
Review 46:Friendly staff, gave us all the info we need, very clean. Close to Venice (40 min by bus). Quiet and peacefull place.
Review 47:If you're about to rent a bike, please, let the staff know about it beforehand so they could make sure all of them are ready to use. Just one minor failure we faced with.
Review 48:Kind and responsive staff. Awesome breakfast. Beautiful pastoral view from the windows. Very nice city, quiet and neat in just 40 min from Venice and about an hour from Vicenza. Best solution for a young couple and thrifty travellers.
Review 49:it was clean, but i 've found used bubble gum on my sleep desk...
Review 50:PRICE, first of all, very cheap hotel...i was expecting something worse, but for that price hotel is perfect. But only B&B, CASA ist out of Dolo town so nothink's there... but 30min to venezia and 30 min to the seaside...(with car ).
Review 51:Breakfast is poor, but for this money, we can't complain.... Noairco, no mosquitonet, so difficult to get fresh air.
Review 52:Excellent value for money. Payed only 50 Euro. Room is spacious.Recently renovated with modern facilities. Ideal when you visitVenice by car.
Review 53:Dolo is very small and there is nothing much to do except for sleeping over night.
Review 54:It was a very nice hotel with a great location if you are heading to/from Venice and would like to stay for a night. Staff was friendly and help us to find our way around the city.
Review 55:The place has a nice look. They turned it into a hotel, but originallyit was a monastery. I think they did a nice job. The location is greatis you are by car and you want to visit Venice or Padova. Good value foryour money.
Review 56:The breakfast i uneatable
Review 57:The building it is very well renovated.
Review 58:Finely restored historic building, perfectly placed in the centre of the Brenta Riviera
Review 59:The total impression of the hotel and the history of the building (it was the monastery). There is a safe and large parking.
Review 60:Breakfast is mediocre at best
Review 61:Decently priced for the area, clean and friendly staff
Review 62:for a vegan, the breakfast is close to non existent.
Review 63:The room is big, the surroundings are great, helpful staff, good restaurant.
