Reviews for Residence Baia Salinedda

Review 1:No children's food menu, beach is ok but there are better ones close by that are well worth visiting, make sure you hire a car.

Review 2:Great location, fantastic friendly helpful staff, quiet & private

Review 3:If you are looking for a simple place to stay on your family beach trip, this is good for you. Keep in mind that some ants and other bugs will get in to the accommodations - there is a mosquito net in the bedroom. For us, the location was not ideal as we had farther to drive to see some of the cathedrals and archeological sites we were interested in. We loved the kitchen though, and the staff was very nice.

Review 4:don't really have any complaints but you should not be in a hurry for dinner or lunch. The food is fresh made, (or appears to be) and is worth the wait. Anywhere we have been in Italy for meals is always a relaxed atmosphere with no rushing things, so sit back, enjoy your company, the food was worth the wait!

Review 5:friendly, helpful staff. accommodating to our large group (9 guests) food was delicious! We stayed at the end of September so it was not that busy at this place. The beach was beautiful, private, with breathtaking views! Easy to get to from the airport

Review 6:Mosquitos, ants and small reptiles will be a part of your stay. The place is very dated and it seems had not been touched in 20 years. Nothing to do! Nearest shops to buy anything is a 15 min drive. Tried the food at restaurant, not good. Very basic tasting. They charge you 10 euros to just sit and eat in concreted sitting area. The beach, 10 mins walk is very gritty and full of seaweed.

Review 7:The fresh air. Friendly staff.

Review 8:Restaurant prices too expensive and would have been nice to have had some evening entertaininment. For an italian appartment - no facilities to make coffee (cafeteria) so had to buy coffee from bar every morning and evening. States Mini market on site but it was more like a cupboard with a few basic essential

Review 9:Lovely spacious bungalow with large terrace and own garden with sunbeds and bbq. Very peaceful residence so if looking for lots of evening entertainment not the place to stay. Private beach with sun beds included in stay. Swimming pool small but never crowded. Other beaches close by are fabulous and within 5 mins drive. Recommend Cala Brandinchi and Capa Coda di Cavallo Beach. Staff in restaurant and bar were always pleasant. Overall lovely relaxing stay for 4 nights.

Review 10:rather expensive and disappointing meal/one waitress and too many tables meant dishes arrived with long pauses...and we couldn't eat at the same time. There seemed to be a wasp nest on our roof which made eating outside rather unpleasant. But all in all it is a FABULOUS place.

Review 11:Location/views/landscaping/nearby beaches/bar/lounge area/apartment

Review 12:I did a barbecue and the kids from the neightbour came over to check. Kitchen facility are ok, not the best. Cappuccino and croissant at the bar are over prices. the shop is vegan or something fancy, not a good food service at the facility. anyway, really minor details. The beach of the facility is not really nice but, anyway you need a car to go to all beaches around.

Review 13:Great atmosfere. Coming from the city you arrive there and you immediately feel like at home. There is barbecue to have very nice fish and meat grilled and eat outside. Really recommended for couples that want to have privacy and relax and enjoy the nature. Plenty of nice beaches around. Strongly recommended,

Review 14:The pool was too small.

Review 15:Only a short walking way to the beach,

Review 16:The private beach was fantastic, especially when the neighbouring beaches were so busy. We had a great view over the sea. Great place for families.

Review 17:Shower is bad, kitchen could be better (no microwave)

Review 18:Location and stuff very willing to help

Review 19:Swimming pool smaller than expected

Review 20:Location and view

Review 21:pool was smaller than expected but kids loved it anyway. Accommodation maybe a bit 'basic' but at the price, cannot fault it really.

Review 22:Close to many beautiful beaches (by foot or by car), Attractive gardens, relaxing location, Nice nearby town. Food in resort restaurant was excellent quality, really recommend, but no Pizza/panini option difficult with little kids.

Review 23:A bit worn The wifi and Internet access needs to be upgraded Distance to town/shops so you need a car

Review 24:Location Sea view Friendly staff/owner Spacious bungalows (compared to other similar places) Surroundings and beach

Review 25:The site is not anymore new and for picky persons some things might not be in perfect shape. But in case something does not function as it should: just ask Paolo (the manager) and he'll get it fixed soon.

Review 26:Nice residence in a nature protection area. Heated pool and whirlpool also in October. Very friendly staff.

Review 27:Car is strongly required, there's nothing near the residence except the beaches and bush so if you need restaurant or buy food- you need a car.

Review 28:Nice not crowded private beach, beautiful garden, very good children playground, also children playground on the beach, restaurant offers quite expensive but very delicious food

Review 29:The beach could have been more clean and white, there were many sort of soft woodchips, which it makes it look not so white. The pictures you see, seem to be from the start of the park. After that, time stood still we think (but maybe it's just our cottage...?). The residence itself could use some maintenance, it was clean, but it's just that the kitchendoors were not closing properly, there were holes in the mosquito net, and some things needed some oil or paint. The fibergrass in the garden we had, was a bit poor. In the park there seemed to be a gym with a shower (so the sign said) but when we looked, it was just the remainings of a gym... We thought it was a shame, because this place really has potential to be a great 'A' location, because the surrounding is very, very beautiful! But for the price we paid it was ok (we found out when we visited some other places afterwards).

Review 30:Paolo and his team were great and very friendly, Paolo speaks English very well. The beach was good and the water was beautiful, you only had to walk 400 metres! The sight we had was stunning!! We had our own umbrella and chairs; no extra charge for that! There was a 'salvataggio' on the beach and you could rent different boats to explore the coast. The swimmingpool was ok (you have to pay for the jet stream) there were some beds and umbrella's. You can buy your own fresh bread in the morning. You can also have lunch and you can eat out if you want to (you can't choose á la carte, they have a 'choice of the day'), everynicht there's entertainment. You can also cook yourself or use the BBQ in your own garden. In this time of year it is very quiet on the premises, which is nice if you like a quiet environment. It is easy to drive to the other beaches nearby, such as 'La Cinta', L'isulleda and Brandichini, or vistit towns like San Teodoro or Olbia.

Review 31:Location, heated pool and the friendly staff. Beach access from the resort.
