Agriturismo Casanova is a working farm that breeds Chianina cows and produces its own cereals and extra-virgin olive oil. Just 1.9 miles outside Asciano, its hilltop location offers panoramic countryside views.
Casanova is composed of 2 buildings, one where the owners live and the other with the rooms and apartments. You have a choice of accommodation, all with handmade wooden furniture and some featuring wrought-iron beds or wood-beamed ceilings. Wi-Fi access is available.
The farmhouse features a swimming pool that is open from June until September. You are welcome to share in the farm's daily activities and help out in the barn.
With homemade cakes, the breakfast buffet is sweet. Savoury items are available upon request. The restaurant offers a fixed menu of Tuscan specialities, sometimes including T-bone steaks, handmade pasta and Chianina meat.
Free parking is provided and the property is 10 minutes' drive from Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore. The nearest train station is 2.5 miles away in Asciano.

Review 1：Vicki the host was great. Location was great far away from the typical tourist grind, but close enough to be near the major sites by car. Place was just wonderful overall. Could not ask for more. Food was excellent. This is a true working farm and really had the feel of an authentic experience and not just at tourist trap.
Review 2：It was real farm,we were for 3 nights,but we wanted to stay longer.The owner very warm and kind person.Every evening we had home made dinner, it was delicious ! Vino de la casa superb ! Siena and Montalcino (to by Brunnelo Montalcino vine )just a haf an hour by car.

Review 8：The location in the Tuscan hills is incredibly beautiful and 'vicky' is gracious, attentive and helpful. The pool area is a nice treat and the dinner was one of the best we have had in all of Italy.
Review 9：We loved to stay at this wonderful and active farm which is located at the top of a hill 3 km away from the lovely small town asciano. The owners have managed to maintain the traditional character of the farm even though modern facilities such as airconditioning and the swimming pool have been added recently. The quiet location and beautiful panorama helped us greatly to relax 100% while the heartwarming hospitality of the owners made us feel at home right after arrival.

On top of that for 20€ you can have a homemade cooking meal right from their farm that was probably the best meal we had in Italy! Wouldn't even think twice about staying here!
