Reviews for Holiday Village Sagitta - All Inclusive
Review 1:May be a minor point but the cleaning of next door rooms in the morning sounded as if someone is moving furniture there. In reality I guess those were just very heavy vacuum cleaners which would be inevitably banged against the furniture to produce loud noise Music from the evening entertainment programme was rather loud for the residents of the hotel's main building Fried eggs for breakfast could be softer (but apart from that food was good)
Review 2:Location is great, the hotel building may seem simple but offers all things you really need on holidays, hotel staff was super friendly and helpful from cleaning ladies (one of them helped me to get rid of a tomato sauce stain on my daughter's white dress) to the reception to the bar/restaurant and the animation team - who are brilliant. Pizza at dinner was great, as was the food generally - I noticed that some people from previous years said food was not that impressive - it must have improved because we enjoyed it. The sea was clean, the views were gorgeous, there was plenty to do, we had a good time.
Review 3:You could only get free drinks in the restaurant, where you couldn't go in swim suites. The beds are not very comfortable.
Review 4:Great location right on the beach, staff very friendly and hard working, everything very clean. The food was very good with a great selection for all meals. Lots of shade provided by pine trees. The place is very peaceful, perfect for families with small children to relax and play.
Review 5:The appartman has oldstyle furniture, in this price I would expect much more! Old windows and doors. Can't even close the windows properly. Lots of stairs to climb daily between appartman-beach-restaurant. No playground for kids. The pool is so far from the Hotel and Restaurant, and it's on a shady place, with cold water. The beach is not for small kids. The water is really deep here. No variety of fresh fruits and desserts. There was an animation program, but when the weather was bad, and we would go to programs, there was no program at all. You have nothing to do with kids, when the weather is bad.
Review 6:The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly. We payed for a hotel room, but we got an appartman. Not crowded beach, with pine trees and crystal clear water. The food was ok, but not great, no variety of fruits, desserts.
Review 7:The hotel is in front of the beautiful beach. The hotel is very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
Review 8:Excellent beach, good location, good food
Review 9:Hotel staff is not so friendly as it should be. Meal time is as if you came to do military term rather than vacation. When they put up the lights in the restaurant than you can start selfserving. Meals are usually not marked and you must pay attention what you take. The vegitables being cooked are frosen and not always cooked well. Same goes for meats. Etc...
Review 10:Lot of shade at the nearby beach and crystal clear sea:-)
Review 11:To visit Split town, we took a bus which collected us right outside of the hotel which was great. However, the location to walk from, was a little remote - perfect to get away from it all though.
Review 12:The beaches are a part of the complex which you simply walk down to - it really is very beautiful here. The food was good and the staff friendly. There were 2 swimming pools and a climbing frame for the little ones - there was also a kids group twice daily and high chairs in the dining room.
Review 13:I found only one shower on the beach (in front of the hotel). Stairs on the way to the beach/hotel (restaurant) - we had a baby pram, but it is manageable, there are not so many of them
Review 14:Nice beach with beautiful clear sea and during first week of september it wasn't crowded at all, appartman close to the sea, animation program for kids, quiet place, well equipped appartman, enough food in all inclusive restaurant
Review 15:Certainly not an option for families with small children and strollers! There are no lifts anywhere and the hotel is placed on a steep hil. You need to walk up and down on rough surfaces! Beaches are very narrow and unless you book your space early in the morning you can suffer. Very limited number of expensive sunbeds to rent. Only a few beds free of charge available at the pool. Attention! Food is DREADFUL, really terrible. You can accept that for 2-3 days, but then you get really enough of that and do not want to think about going down to the dining room. Unfortunately there is not much alternative -> it is a small village without any facilities, closet town is Omis about 7km away.
Review 16:Frankly I do not know whether I should praise or criticise :). To be honest for the money you pay you should not expect anything more: it's clean, over the beach, has a cosy swimming pool (caution: it's in the shade, so water always cold), small supermarket at the entrance, all inclusive option lets you stay within the area all the time but...
Review 17:-no lift -tea only in the morning and 5 o'clock -very loud national music during supper (same songs every day)
Review 18:Perfect cuisine, seaside view, quiet (except cicada :) Very friendly staff
Review 19:Variety and quality of food is not good and it's not worth of money that I've paid. There's no shower gel and/or shampoo in bathroom, only soap.
Review 20:The hotel is situated on the beach and it's very quite.
Review 21:We had a great time at Sagitta hotel. Our room was cleaned every day as well as the towels were exchanged every day. Not crowded beach, semi-private with pine trees giving a nice shade. Crystal clear water. A paddle boat rental nearby. The food was great, buffets all day long: breakfast, lunch, coffee time and dinner. The menu included grilled fish, they had shark too, goulash, soups, salads, fruits, puddings, ice cream, panna-cotta and more. Freshly made pizza by a friendly cook. Unlimited food and drinks, beer... alcohol too. International atmosphere with a lot of families with kids. There was an young animation team that every day took care of the activities for kids and adults. They spoke fluent English and German. Our kids were very happy, they liked doing crafts, dancing or pirate treasure hunting. Our kids called the hotel a "music dace hotel" because they loved the the mini discos every evening with aerobic like dancing. We recommend the place to all families.
Review 22:The food was very unoriginal, did not include local foods and tasted much the same every day.
Review 23:Proximity to the beach, peace and quiet, kid's club animators, wonderful staff.
Review 24:There wasn`t safe, teapot and wifi in the apartments. Noise of cicads at night
Review 25:Friendly staff, comfortable apartments, picturesque place, rich nature (we saw dolphins, crabs, sea stars), nice restaurant and animation
Review 26:far from town, but we have a car and for us it wasn't problem, bad children playground
Review 27:good quality-price ratio, beatiful nature: beach with the pines and partly shadow during all day, clear sea, mountaines, near National park Biokovo,
Review 28:Beach was stony and the pool they advertise wasn't open. We went All Inclusive and they were lots of restrictions on times of food and where it could be eaten.
Review 29:The Views and the food were great.
Review 30:too many kids
Review 31:all inclusive services
Review 32:Food was ok not as bad as expected from reviews but could use some work
Review 33:Very close to the beach very relaxing and friendly staff
Review 34:Friendly staff, Very good location, good tasting and a largevariety of food.
