Review 1：An electronic kettle would be useful in the room, but really nothing to mention as negative experience.
Review 2：Cosy little hotel, located just in the center, close to the main square and to the cable car. Rooms are clean and quiet. Barbara, the hotel owner is really helpful and provided us extra comfort and customer experience with free juice and champagne at new year's eve. Breakfast is also excellent. I warmly recommend the place for everyone.

Review 4：Barbara is so kind, she helped us many times during our residency, St. Gilgen nature is breathtaking but It is far away from Salzburg centre we have been taking buses everyday for about 50 minutes to go there The Haus is close to the bus station, advent market, Supermarkets, and the cable car is so near it takes you to the top of zwolferhorn mountain
Review 5：The location is great! It is near to bus stop, supermarket and the centre of town. The advent market was on when we were there. It is lively but not as lively as the one in St Wolfgang. We had a great stay.

Gilgen downtown center.From the hotel ,by only 5 minutes walk to the lake, in such a peaceful town,we stayed there for two nights, that was very enjoyable!In addition, their breakfast is in a very good value, you can enjoy the local breakfast.

Review 8：The place is in general very comfortable and with all you need for a brief stay. Breakfast is served in a cozy place and despite the owner is not very fluent in English, we manage to understand each other. Very helpful and efficient.

Instead, she just sent e-mail that the room was cancelled just a day before my stay. I totally understand that the owner was a good-nature person but it was not comfortable transaction. I would suggest Booking.com to mediate such a bank deposit

Review 21：We stayed for 4 nights with our 3 little children. We liked the spacious apartment and a very friendly approach from the house lady Barbara. The house is perfectly located, close to all attractions, still very calm. Barbara is very kind and helpful. And St. Gilgen is an amazing little town and the Wolfgangsee is just perfect. It has been our best holiday so far -:)

Review 47：Frau Lamier was very gracious, helpful in many ways from, parkinglogistics (which were a challenge), carrying our luggage to being ableto accommodate a request to extend our stay by a day at checkin. Shealso let us check in early which was a big help as we had a wedding togo to at 2:00 and check in time started at 2:00.Room was nice, large, clean, a little shop worn on the linens and such but overall a great value for our money give the prices at other mid-town guest houses. Location was excellent, we parked our car and left it, walked everywhere.

Review 51：The landlady came to pick us up from the bus station after we arrived late due to a delayed train which was really decent of her. She also let us borrow her bikes free of charge to explore Wolfgangsee which saved us 20Euro. The room was immaculate and breakfast was very satisfying.
Review 52：Quite expensive for what you get. We've stayed in better hotels for less money on this trip through Salzkammergut. The breakfast is rather basic (fair enough if you consider it's a family-run hotel), the room is smallish and without any tea-making facilities. Shower sink was clogged.

Bus service to Salzburg is convenient and inexpensive. Breakfast is convivial and ample. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely return. I recommend seeking out Haus Mayerhofer.

Review 57：Our host Barbara was gracious and very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were more than substantial. The buffet was awesome set in the vey sweet breakfast room. The location was perfect within the picturesque town of St Gilgen. The room was clean and tidy.
Review 58：Had a hard time finding the place even with gps because of the smallroads and some roads being blocked by the xmas market. One side of the"haus" door was actually a door to another guest's roomwhich we did not know initially and tried to knock on that door to gainentry into the building. We were then told that reception was on theother side. Owner of the "haus" was not in when we checked in(approx 7pm). An old lady who didnt speak english gave us our room andwe only managed to speak to the owner on the telephone. The ownercharged us 100% of the price even though booking.com showed that 40% hasbeen charged to my credit card (and even when I showed her my bookingconfirmation, she insisted for me to pay the 100%). my bill is not hereyet so I'm not sure if ive been doubly charged yet or not.
