Reviews for Emmaus Centre
Review 1:Wifi was not working at all. Not in the room, not near the router.
Review 2:Stuff was nice and the location is good if you have a car and want to be near the airport.
Review 3:I received a great welcome. Emmaus is delightfully peaceful. I was just needing a place for the night before a flight, and Emmaus is close to the airport, yet without hearing aircraft all the time! My stay was very pleasant and very reasonable in price. Thank you!
Review 4:Morning if check out, supposed to be 11am, had staff knocking in door at 8am asking if we were leaving yet. Felt I had to leave, even though I was leaving at that time.
Review 5:Friendly staff, Very quiet location.
Review 6:Very quiet as this is a retreat. No tv or tea/coffee facilities in room. Should have looked closer at the facilities or I may not have booked it. It really is just a room for the night which will suit some people.
Review 7:Staff lovely.
Review 8:It's a church retreat facility, that opens up for tourist when they aren't doing church things. So it's a little off the beaten path, and at a glance, it looks more like an asylum than a hotel. However, it was still lovely!
Review 9:It was exceptionally clean, and quiet.
Review 10:bed was small and reading light was fixed to the desk & unmovable so in order to read in bed I had to remove the light shade to get more light from the small lamp
Review 11:Lovely peaceful grounds & gardens, good location, nice & quiet
Review 12:As we weren't given a postal code, we had trouble finding it coming from Dublin with our GPS. And, as Americans, we had trouble understand the local lingo when we called the staff many times for directions - for example we don't use the phrase "minor road" and so we thought that was the name of the street! If Booking.com could send along directions with our confirmation emails that'd be great!
Review 13:Friendly staff, very hospitable, beautiful grounds and very convenient to the airport. Breakfast room to grab form on our way out for an early flight was a nice touch.
Review 14:Breakfast was served after 830. We had an early flight so we couldn't get anything. Minor issue. It was less than 10 min from airport which was key. The room was too hot but other than that perfect.
Review 15:Price and location. It was way nicer and cleaner than I expected for the money. Will use again.
Review 16:My only criticism would be that the single bed was a bit narrow.
Review 17:Emmaus was very easy to find. The room was exceptionally clean and the continental breakfast was very good.
Review 18:This is not a hotel, it should not be on booking.com, it is a religiousretreat, totally unacceptable to be sold as a hotel on booking.com Imoved for the second night at a cost to myself, you should remove thisplace from your books
Review 19:It gave me an experience ive never had, to be scared
Review 20:This is in a wonderful location with nice walks to the park and Swords Castle nearby as well as the town. The staff are very helpful and there is a really relaxed atmosphere if you want to wind down and would rather an alternative from the noise of the city.
Review 21:Check in is by 21.00, so I only just made it Breakfast does not start till 8.30!!! Great if you are a lazy teenager but no good for anyone working or travelling. They did leave a tray with Weetabix & an apple though No kettle in room
Review 22:Clean & comfortable with parking. That is what I needed, so I could get to airport easily - it's about 10 minutes drive
Review 23:It stated it my booking that all rooms had free WiFi. But I had no connection in my room. As it was a working weekend this has very frustrating. The hotel should not advertise free WiFi in all rooms unless they can actually provide this.
Review 24:Beds are just okay. Thought it could have been a bit better priced. Need clear directions to be able to find it.
Review 25:Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a wifi cable so you can plug your computer into the wall and connect. This way, if the router isn't close to your room, you can still get the internet. There is a common refrigerator to keep things overnight.
Review 26:Could not get any food but the Lady on the front desk told me where to go
