Reviews for Vogue Hotel Arezzo
Review 1:This is an unusual hotel. The sink is in the room and the shower is behind the bed separated by a glass panel. The shower is huge with two complete sets of shower heads along with wall mounted sprayers. There is nowhere in the room to hang a towel, not in the shower nor near the sink. The windows are opaque glass, so you cannot see out. I consider it value for money since I had an off season rate
Review 2:Room size and location. Also a good breakfast. They also allowed me to park for two days in one of the two spaces they have at the door
Review 3:when you enter in this Hotel the first impression is not the best ..also the part where they serve the breakfast is too dark and old...but when you get to the rooms you enjoy it.
Review 4:the apartment is a very special one .. each room is different...very beautiful
Review 5:Staff does not speak English well enough to give clear directions aboutthe parking. 1. They were not clear about the location of the lot.&Quot;Turn left" is not an adequate instruction in a crowded cityin the dark in the rain. 2. As a result of their not giving us clearinstructions about how to claim the hotel's parking discount in thecity lot,we paid 40 Euros extra for parking. They just shrugged, didn't acknowledge any responsibility. Laundry lost 2 socks but didquickly find them before we checked out.
Review 6:Nice room, spacious, good clean bathroom, good breakfast. Centrallocation but in town.
Review 7:The hotel is not what You expect. It is sold as a fashionable place but the rooms don't make any sense, specially the showers. No parking of their own and the breakfast is not what You would expect for the price.
Review 8:Air conditioning didn't work properly. The bath/shower was stuck in shower mode. We stayed here a few years back without any problems, that room had an awesome shower (no bathtub).
Review 9:Location is unbeatable, just a few minutes walk from Piazza Grande. The view from the room is beautiful (upper floor) and the room decor is exactly what you would hope for in Tuscany.
Review 10:A slow registration process upon arrival.
Review 11:Spacious bedrooms with original suite/ decor, vicinity to the monthly Antiques Marker...one block away and still a quiet room. (On the 3d floor)
Review 12:rooms are a little quirky - ours had a two person shower in the bedroom (actually was just fine, just looked a bit weird), another room had colored lights in the tub/shower.
Review 13:fine hotel, great staff, modern rooms, continental breakfast
Review 14:My room was at the first floor, facing the street below, quite noisy at late evening and early morning. Small details easy to improve: the paper key envelope taped does not give a good impression, the ham in its original paper at breakfast...and the breakfast itself, difficult to set the air conditioning in the room (either 23 degrees, or off)
Review 15:Second time in this hotel, very spacious room (Vasari room), nicely designed, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff. I was lucky and had the possibility to park in front of the hotel for free (two parking lots). I like this hotel, there is some old traditional stuff mixed with new creations.
Review 16:I had a wonderful stay at the Vogue apart from two key issues: I had secured valuables in the room safe and given a malfunction, I was unable to reopen the safe, which the staff could not correct at the weekend. I had no choice but to leave town without my valuables and despite agreeing with staff the items would be forwarded to a nearby address, they have not responded to two emails and I am now stressed and really at odds with how to recover my personal effects. Thinks break but staff should be much more responsive and professional. As of today, the issue remains open. Although a far less significant issue, breakfast was rather bland but passable.
Review 17:Amazing location, comfortable bed, and overall, a well-appointed hotel.
Review 18:it's not the ritz, so if you wanted 1,000 thread count sheets you won't get those, and the furniture is eclectic and not expensive. but it was clean and comfortable. good value, but some of my ritzy friends might not like the decor.
Review 19:rooms were large staff was helpful and friendly location was perfect shower pressure was very strong they brought us a power adapter FOC they gave us a late checkout
Review 20:Very convenient location, close to all sights in Arezzo
Review 21:Staff were very kind and helpful.
Review 22:Quite slow staff for checking process (female staff) and indifferent to tourist s questions about Arezzo.
Review 23:Nothing, everything was perfect
Review 24:Everything was perfect
Review 25:Great location, classic but really nice room (super nice bathroom!), good quality breakfast
Review 26:No English spoken
Review 27:The room was stylish, with decorated high ceilings.
Review 28:The guestroom was very spacious and the bathroom was incredible. Nicely appointed hotel and great location to the city center and train station.
Review 29:Really compact elevator
Review 30:Staff Continental breakfast Large clean bathrooms
Review 31:nothing
Review 32:staff always attentive, welcoming.
Review 33:surly breakfast service and extra cost to have it served in the room...poor quality fruit and bread and coffee at breakfast in uninviting dining alcove.. smell of drains as you entered the lobby... also bed -linen was doubtful...coloured duvet cover always leaves me wondering whether it was freshly changed.
Review 34:location and large spacious room and bathroom
Review 35:The breakfast was adequate but no more than that and the staff at reception when I arrived at lunchtime seemed a little confused. But overall the position in town and the bedroom more than made up for the shortcomings.
Review 36:This hotel is potentially very, very good. It is in an excellent position and the room I had was excellent. It was large, well appointed, big bed, big bath and excellent shower. Although it was at the front facing onto a busy street the soundproofing of the windows was such that it was completely quiet in the room.
Review 37:Wide, comfortable room, with a modern twist (bathroom, or I should better describe bath-area ...). It's a stone-throw from Arezzo's historical town-centre.
Review 38:Very confortable, stylish and spacious room, compared to other Italian hotels, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, location just 3 minutes from the historical centre.
Review 39:Excellent room with individual layout and design. Unique features and shower which was based on a wet room behind the bed. Helpful staff and nice public areas. Location was ideal for an easy walk to the centre, shopping areas and station.
Review 40:Generally, the hotel has very few facilities (no restaurant, no bar, no fitness room etc.) so it hardly qualifies for a 4 star grade. The bathroom is not separated from the bedroom. The minibar is poorly stocked. Breakfast contains mostly pastry, little else.
Review 41:Excellent location, 3 minutes' walk from the old town and from the train station. Our room (the Raphael) was very spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
Review 42:The noise from the main street in the early morning.
Review 43:The luxurious bedroom - very comfortable bed and wonderful bath and shower. The friendly and helpful staff.
Review 44:The staff is not very welcoming and the breakfast is not at the level ofsuch a four-star hotel. The price of the parking is high (25 €)
Review 45:Nice rooms, large and well-designed
Review 46:Dining room could do with a bit of an update - fresher look.Hotel reception area could be dressed up more but hardllyessential must do items.
Review 47:Location of hotel very central (the historical part of town at yourdoorstep and wide variety of restaurants) and easy to find. Parking isright behind the Hotel in a secured undercover car park via gatedalleyway beside Hotel which staff assist you with. Room was massive, aswas the bathroom facilities and separate toilet room. In bedroom thehigh ceiling was painted with cherubs in clouds looking down at you. Themarble bathroom had a huge shower complete with different shower headsso you could choose from a rather large round unmovable ceiling showerrose or a hand held hosed shower head, or the wall shower jets or even acombination of all three! The water pressure was excellent. There was afull size deep bath with usual taps plus a separate pull out showerspray. Also in the bathroom was a long double vanity sink and tocomplete the scene was your soft white bath robes and slip on slippers. The toilet room was a big as some ensuites, with of course the standardtoilet and separate bidet in Europe.Upon our arrival, our TV was frozen on a picture and the aircon was not working, however these were immediately rectified once we advised the hotel staff. The aircon was a simple case of the previous guests hadn't closed the top of the long high window properly and of course any energy saving hotel will have an auto shut off if doors/windows being left ajar/open.The bed was big and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They had enough English to communicate well enough. Breakfast was sufficient and if you require more hot drinks, they were forthcoming. There was a good Asian restaurant (hard to find in our travels in Italy) within a few minutes walk. Not only was the food tasty but also good value. We managed to get chilli in oil to spice up the food when needed. Don't be put off when the noodles say spaghetti! Also went to a nice Italian restaurant that was recommended by the Hotel only a few minutes walk also.
Review 48:The hotel is fairly small and very "personal" feeling. Everyone we had contact with was very friendly & accommodating. Our room had an amazing shower & bath. great location near the train station & center of town.
Review 49:The room. Service was very rude, unhelpful , pompous, the worst I haveever encountered in any hotel in the world . I had an early train andbreakfast was not available untill 7.30am on Sunday which I had to miss.
Review 50:No lounge area to relax.just a corridor with a few chairs.
Review 51:Breakfast okay, but not the best.great position to see the town.
Review 52:Cool room designs, close walk to train and sites
Review 53:Parking is in the city parking and the entrance card provided by hotel doesn't work
Review 54:Location, close to rail station
Review 55:The breakfast is very poor
Review 56:The design of the rooms is very curious The staff is nice and willing to help
Review 57:The room was stuffed with lots of weird style furniture, very small breakfast
Review 58:The location,comfortable bed
Review 59:Nothing to highlight
Review 60:Services and location
Review 61:spacious rooms, comfortable bed, nice bathroom
