Reviews for AgriSesto B&B

Review 1:The only problem we faced with was an old (foul) shower head.

Review 2:Perfect stay right before \ after the flight: next to the airport, yet in a quiet area. The (deluxe) room is spacious, cozy and nice. There's also a good restaurant in the hotel.

Review 3:Very elegant, superbly decorated and furnished, tres romantic room in an unassuming B&B near the FCO airport. Excellent value for money. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the place more. There is a good looking restaurant on site, I didn't have chance to eat there but did receive a free glass of red and slice of cake upon arrival. Very helpful and accommodating staff, Mona collected me from the local train station and the car service to the airport for the red eye flight the next morning was fast and efficient.

Review 4:There was no Wifi Connection as promised. No sockets to charge phones. Very Dusty.

Review 5:The suite was spacious. Lovely place for a stay. The chauffeur and people were very friendly.

Review 6:It's a bit of a drive to reach this place. If you want proximity to airport avoid this place. Also no staff available if you reach after 11. Better to stay in a hotel. This is more like someone's house.

Review 7:Only that we didn't get to stay longer having to leave at 4am

Review 8:We found ourselves stuck at the airport due to a missed flight. A search revealed this guest house nearby and with an available room. Not expecting such a warm welcome but it was a delight. A excellent restaurant on site. Really helpful and friendly owners, the room was also excellent. I can not recommend it highly enough to anyone.

Review 9:We felt like this was a true visit to Rome even though it was just an overnight "at the airport". We were constantly charmed by the attentive staff, the quaint atmosphere, and the unfailing attention of the staff. For a place to stay, a dinner, and a good room, this was a treat. The attention of the staff to our transport to and from the airport was thoughtful, prompt and accommodating.

Review 10:We had booked just one night before returning home with the plane; we arrived in the evening and left very early in to morning. We wished we could have spent some more time here since it was so nice. Very helpful staff, very nice rooms and restaurants, probably also very nice outside though it was dark outside during our short stay. 15 minutes with taxi to the airport terminal.

Review 11:Everything. Very close to the airport and it offers a shuttle service to the airport which it is very helpful. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent too.

Review 12:The taxi from the airporte but you gave us a warning and that was god !

Review 13:It is a beatiful house/place and a very god restaurant. We like to stay in a family-hotel rather than a big hotel.

Review 14:Comfortable big rooms and bathroom. Great staff that rectified confusion in our shuttle service with complimentary breakfast. Great restaurant for dinner.

Review 15:Jets are on final approach to FCO, so there's some jet noise (not their fault of course).

Review 16:Close to FCO airport. Great restaurant with wood fired pizza and grilled steaks and all the locals. The Siamese cat with the cappuccino-foam lips was very friendly. Staff very friendly.

Review 17:Absolutely lovely staff and great food in the hotel's cosy restaurant. We had a great evening before catching our early flight the following morning.

Review 18:Water pressure in the shower very poor. No public space to sit after 11.30 p.m.

Review 19:Very peaceful environment, located in the countryside but close to the airport. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Good restaurant on site.

Review 20:No problem for us to get around because we had a car.

Review 21:The staff were very king and helpfull giving us info about Rome. The restaurant with in was excellent The room had a balcony. Safe parking

Review 22:Convenient to Rome airport-a 15 minute drive with shuttle. Ate at attached Trattoria for excellent dinner on last night in Italy-local meats available. Complete traditional Italian breakfast included many choices. Shuttle arrangements worked well to be picked up at FCO & return.

Review 23:Far from Rome but close to airport. We stayed one day and then we stayed at center for tourism..bravo Agrisesto..

Review 24:Great restaurant...Great staff. Great breakfast.. Too good and comfort room, very big and clean, with nice atmosphere..

Review 25:We stayed in the loft room, which was quiet but it had not been finished off to a good standard. A bit rough around the edges. There was no hairdryer.

Review 26:The fact that it was not too far from Rome airport when landing on a late flight before travelling further afield. It also had a restaurant/Trattoria attached to save searching for somewhere to eat late in the evening. Girl on reception was friendly and very helpful.

Review 27:I stayed in the attic room. The room was nice and clean, but the ceiling was short and I had to bend down to shower. I had a chance to take a look at the other rooms and they are gorgeous and spacious. Once of them has a fireplace even!

Review 28:Charming and tranquil space minutes from the airport. Much better alternative than the lifeless and sterile hotels nearby. I stayed there overnight after a three-week vacation in Sicily. The host, Simona, was delightful and brought me a lovely glass of wine every drop of which was delicious. The hotel is nestled among farm fields and its restaurant is famous for its meat. Sadly, I did not get a chance to try the restaurant as my flight arrived late.

Review 29:Old property, noisy

Review 30:The property staff were amazing and helpful. The place it self was old and noisy. You could hear cars passing by all night, and other residents noise specially those who came back from their dinner drunk. Its 20 min drive to the airport. Have such an amazing restaurant with the best Pizza. Staff friendly, parking available, wifi weak signal in the room.

Review 31:Thin walls in room - you can hear noises pretty easily. Shower water pressure was pretty weak.

Review 32:Very friendly staff - they were very helpful in setting up transportation to/from airport. Restaurant is delicious - must try the beef and pizza. Nice decor.

Review 33:There is nothing very interesting nearby but it did not matter much since we were flying out the next morning

Review 34:We were very happy with the location close to the airport. We thought the trattoria located in lower level of the bed and breakfast was delicious. The focaccia was excellent and they wee prepared to make just about anything. We would easily go back there just for the food.

Review 35:Noisy street

Review 36:Nothing specials in rooms, some things need to repair (like shower), but rooms are clean and comfortable! Very good restaurant - I suppose that restaurant is the best thing in this Guest house (taste and don't expensive)

Review 37:Ants falling down into the bed from the ceiling The distance from the airport terminal was 20 km and significant longer than indicated in the hotel adverticing (15 min drive)

Review 38:Nice people in the reception and shuttle taxi on time at 4 o'clock.early in the morning

Review 39:It was a bit noisy. Even though the B&B is in the country, the road that passes right in front is surprisingly busy and the rooms face that road. Despite this, I would definitely stay there again. Also, the breakfast was OK for anyone who likes sweets for breakfast, but for those of us who don't, a bit of cheese or other protein would be nice.

Review 40:The B&B is charming and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The proximity to the airport makes this a very convenient and pleasant place to overnight before or after a flight. It is excellent value for money.

Review 41:There is nothing else to do nearby, but that was fine with us.

Review 42:This is not an airport hotel; it is a B&B in the country near the airport. All the people we interacted with were wonderful. The attached restaurant has delicious homemade food.

Review 43:The B&B was further from the airport than expected, and since we landed late, we ended up getting taken advantage of by the taxi service. The distance from the airport was measured in a straight line, and it is across water, so the drive was about 20 minutes. The area is very empty, all farmland, but fine for us since we only needed to rest before traveling north.

Review 44:The staff at the B&B were so kind and accommodating. When we told them it was our honeymoon, the woman lit up and ran off to pour us two glasses of wine on the house! Very sweet, and we stayed up talking to them for a while before going up to our room. The room was a nice style, and we had a balcony that we were not expecting to have!

Review 45:The wifi was poor and the shower had very little hot water and when you did get it it didn't last long

Review 46:We have to say the food at the restaurant was very good and was one of the main reasons we enjoyed our stay

Review 47:The hotel is just for people who wants to stay near to the airport, like us.

Review 48:The staff was great. The room was perfect, very good. The breakfast was cheap and excelent.

Review 49:Working out how to get there. Staff were very helpful in giving directions and expected costs.

Review 50:Comfortable. Close to airport, 10 minute trip in morning.

Review 51:We didn't like that the shower head burst off into my face and the staff said sorry but we can't fix it today the maintainer guy went home.

Review 52:The restaurant attatched

Review 53:Excellent restaurant, wide choice of dishes and professional & friendly service. Reasonable room. Free parking on premises. Close enough to the airport.

Review 54:The hotel itself is cute and good. But it is located far from the airport. So I don't recommend to use it as a hotel nearby the airport. I think the information of Booking.com is wrong. We need to take a taxi, which is still OK. The terrible story was following. I asked the hotel desk to reserve a taxi and got a precise information. When I arrived at the airport, I went there almost on time. But the driver didn't wait for me. So I needed to find another taxi by myself (which is still OK again!!). Next day, I needed to be back to the airport by a taxi from the hotel. Then, this driver (who had needed to wait for me when I arrived at the airport) made excuses a lot and told me that he waited blablabla and even showed a picture of him (but apparently he was not there and I think he came there quite late after I had arrived). The terrible thing was that he asked 40 euro for a round way (for two days) in the end!!! I felt "oh my gosh"!!! By the way, this terrible guy works in the hotel, i guess...

Review 55:The shuttle bue service ended earlier than our arrival (plane was delayed) and was unavailable for our return trip. The shower did not operate properly.

Review 56:The friendliness of the receptionist and the quality of the food in the restaurant. The bedroom was lovely.

Review 57:The staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a difficult time getting there from Siena, and after much travel on buses and trains, they arranged for a driver to pick us up from our final stop. That made the remainder of our trip so much easier. We chose this B&B because it was close to airport and therefor only needed to stay one evening, but had I known it was going to be so nice, we would have stayed even longer. The food at their restaurant was absolutely delicious. Can't recommended it more.

Review 58:It was not right by the airport. It took a long taxi ride to get to the B&B from Rome. Most airport rides cost $48 and this cost $60. It was also not near the other airport hotels, so don't let that surprise you.

Review 59:The restaurant downstairs was wonderful, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable and had many ameneties, the ride to the airport in the early am (5:45am) was very easy and reasonable, the farm environment was lovely. We would have loved to stay a few days.

Review 60:Liked the farm stay style of this hotel and it's close proximity to the main airport in Rome. Also close to the sea side at fregene for a swim in the ocean after a long drive

Review 61:It's not a significant problem, but the internet kept cutting in and out.

Review 62:It was very comfortable, pretty, and the staff were extremely nice. I recommend arranging for the shuttle rather than taking a cab; it's about 15 euros cheaper.

Review 63:The staff was incredibly kind. They even carried my 55 lb suitcase up the stairs for me! There is a restaurant in the building with pretty good food. The shuttle service is fairly priced and incredibly convenient. Our driver was very friendly, like everyone else there! Also, the room had the most comfortable bed that I slept in during my entire 2 month stay in Italy.

Review 64:Shuttle bus driver very polite, but confused. Location very far from center, it is good if you need to be close to the aeroport. Buses to the Rome are on one and a half hour and ride to the nearest metro takes one hour.

Review 65:Rooms, lady at reception very kind, food in the restaurant

Review 66:I understood the place was close to the airport(2.6) but it was 15km. I chose it because of the distance and did not want to know as the birds fly- I wanted to know the distance by car. This I call false advertising and it would stop me coming back or recommending.

Review 67:The place and the people were great

Review 68:Distance from airport is "birdway", not by road. Real distance is ab 15 min by taxi, cost 20-30 euros/side.

Review 69:Room is original. Friendly service.

Review 70:they stuffed up on the beds as when I booked it just said twin or queen etc, no option to select which one, got there and only queen bed between myself and my male friend, they couldn't so anything and only stayed there as there was nothing else around, gave us free brekky though because they stuffed up the beds but brekky wasn't very good though

Review 71:nice place

Review 72:AgriSesto is very hard to find, there's a mistake in Google Maps. Breakfast starts at 7.30. We leave AgriSesto before this time and we get only yoghurt, juice and some bread.

Review 73:Looks a bit scary from the outside but is nice inside. Wu fi is not good.

Review 74:The quirkiness and the room was large and good facilities. Friendly staff close to airport. Chef is lively and makes great pizzas.

Review 75:A very good b&b. Staff very helpful and really makes you feel at home. Great restaurant within the premises. Definitely will make use of this b&b when travelling to Rome.

Review 76:Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The on site Restaurant was excellent with great service and plenty of choice and lovely food. Well organised for people needing to leave early for airport. Would recommend it.

Review 77:The restaurant in the bed and breakfast is AMAZING. They are very well known for their meat and they definitely didn't disappoint. I loved it there with its homey feel.

Review 78:We are both non smokers and unfortunately someone who stayed in the room previously was so the smell clung to the furniture a bit.

Review 79:The staff at this B&B were fantastic. We arrived at the train station only to find there were no taxis nearby so we didn't know how to get to the B&B, but we called them and they sent their driver immediately - no problem!Comfortable room, fantastic restaurant.

Review 80:Pillows and mattresses could be softer.

Review 81:The friendliness and hospitality. Our flight was delayed, collecting rental car at FCO was very slow so we arrived at AgriSesto about 22:40 just minutes before the closing of the restaurant. The staff stayed an extra hour to provide dinner.

Review 82:Not exactly close to the heart of Rome for tourist attractions but forus, this was a place to stay after a long day of travel. Was well worthleaving the city and was a great start to our trip!

Review 83:The staff was amazing! The driver was super friendly and sweet. Andreception at the hotel was extremely helpful and went above andbeyond to find us train times and connections and arrange the shuttlefor the next day. The food was amazing. We had the bruschetta,Alfredo pasta, filet and tiramisu. Each course was out of this world!Favorite meal in Italy.

Review 84:Room door locks.... Felt nervous locking from inside just in case I misplaced the key.

Review 85:Great pizza! And Boss the dog was cute. Our shuttle driver was friendly and happy as we're the staff at reception , dinner and breakfast.

Review 86:Hot water in shower was long time coming and low pressure

Review 87:The restaurant attached to the property. Good and convenient. Front desk people were friendly and very accommodating. Make sure and use AgriSesto shuttle to & from FCO. Other taxis rip you off!!

Review 88:The rooms were very beautiful and decorated very tastefully. The restaurant downstairs was convenient and one of the best meals we had during our 3 week trip. We flew out by 6:00am, so we were unable to attend breakfast. If it's anything like the dinner we had the night before, I'm sure it's amazing too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a rental car, so we were able to find it using our GPS, and they gave very clear directions as well.

Review 89:The shower was horrible. It was far too short, the room tapered off and it was the worst experience showering I've had. The taxi driver spoke no English, and his Italian was impossible to understand. After 2 hours of arguing on the phone after I had reserved a shuttle weeks in advance, and the week beforehand, there was no shuttle. After making excuses, they sent a taxi which never arrived (as they try to pick you up in departures but don't inform you of this), and finally they sent the shuttle. Although the shuttle driver and restaurant employees were great, the whole situation was horrible and not worth it. Shuttle costs 20 Euro each way like the other hotels, but at least the other hotels will pick you up.

Review 90:The room was large and clean. The restaurant was good and the shuttle driver was nice.

Review 91:The hotel was difficult to find and not at all close to the airport even though GPS shows it near one of the runways. Taxi ride charged an extra because of distance from airport.

Review 92:The price and the restaurant.

Review 93:This was our second stay here and only a suite was available which although very nicely designed had neither the wifi nor the TV working and nothing was done or explanation given over our 2 day stay.... maybe party because it isn't staffed during the day!The fridge freezer also didn't work so personally I wouldn't bother with the extra expense of staying in a suite....stay in the main hotel.

Review 94:Pleasant amosphere, friendly helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Reasonably good breakfast especially for Italy.Very little airport noise at all. Lovely restaurant.

Review 95:the B&B only opens after 3 pm. When I called at 1 pm, the man who answered phone asked me rudely call again after 3. I'm not informed of the way to get to the hotel by myself clearly. The most important thing is it's not more convenient to go to the airport from this B&B than our former hotel in Termini, but we paid more money and wasted more time which was supposed to be spent on travelling.

Review 96:the B&B is in the countryside. The scenery is good.

Review 97:Room very basic. TV 12inch. shower broken very hard to take a shower. No soap or anything. As vegetarians the resuarant was very poor with only one dish to choose from

Review 98:Friendly staff

Review 99:Even though the Breakfast was charged it was poor, Nothing to eat. Also B&B was difficult to find,, Tripadviser map guided us to a wrong place.

Review 100:dinner at the restaurant was nice

Review 101:Hopeless shower and very little pressure or hot water, very disappointing after a long trip. Hard pillows.

Review 102:Close to the airport and it had a restaurant on sit so you didn't have to go out to eat when it was cold, wet and late. Staff very friendly and helpful also a shuttle service for a fee. Very nice bathroom but useless shower!

Review 103:On booking.com the distance from the airport to the B&B says 2.8 km. In reality this is morelike 10-11 km. A taxi is super expensive and the bus a little bit of a nightmare to workout if your not italian! However, the hotel send you an email in advance explaing this and offers a transfer service for €10 per person and way.

Review 104:Staff was very nice and helpfull. The evening restaurant was excellent. Oldfashion rustic Italian food with great prices! Organised a lift to the airport the morning after for €10 per person.the driver was very nice and helped with our luggage. Over all a great place to stay, nice and clean!

Review 105:The bin in the bathroom was not emptied from the previous occupants.

Review 106:Location was good, within a 10 minute drive of the Fiumicino airport. We used the transfer service the B&B offers to and from the airport, the driver was very friendly and although the transfer costs €20 each way, it was significantly cheaper than a cab. At check-in the owners of the B&B were welcoming and even carried my heavy suitcase to my room on the second floor! The room was clean, comfortable and homely.

Review 107:The restaurant attached to the B and B was outstanding! Actually some of the better food that I had in all of my stay in Italy! The owners and staff went above and beyond in hosting!! A wonderful last night in Rome, and very close to the airport.

Review 108:The breakfast was awful. The fixtures and fittings around the hotel are very cheap and you feel as if the owners have tried to cut costs on everything. Also a lack of water in the shower.

Review 109:The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Review 110:Stairs.

Review 111:Transportation arranged to Civitavecchia to connect with cruise ship. Driver was early and made certain we were in the right place before he departed. Staff made all necessary arrangements. Staff took care of a package that arrived after we left.

Review 112:Very difficult to get to on public transportation with luggage especially if you don't speak Italian

Review 113:The staff was very nice and helpful, loved that their was an in house restaurant. Room was comforatable and shuttle came as expected-20 E to airport.

Review 114:Location if you want to go to Rome.

Review 115:The location is the best if you have to go to the airport, the personal is very kind and the rooms are very well decorated

Review 116:We stayed at AgriSesto for one -short- night in order to be at the airport by 6 am. The place was very easy to find and it is well indicated on the street. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with a charm that hotel chains cannot match. The menu proposed at the restaurant is furnished. We chose to go to airport with our car. There is also the possibility to leave the car at the hotel and use the lift proposed by Agri Sesto. Driving to the airport in the early morning took us around 15 minutes. The direction is very straightforward. So, all in all, very satisfied with our choice.

Review 117:Liked everything...perfect.

Review 118:Arrived late for one night stay before flight to Germany. It was remarkably quiet at night given it's proximity to the airport. Place was absolutely lovely, clean, comfortable and homely. Such friendly and welcoming staff..just what you need after a long journey. They had upgraded our room at no extra cost. The restaurant looked fabulous, as we were so late arriving we did not eat but were served a very nice large glass of wine by the crackling fire. Will definitely return but this time for a few days.

Review 119:Great location with shuttle service to a Rome airport 24 hours a day. Gloria at reception was extremely helpful, anticipating our needs before we asked. Room was large, beautifully decorated. Dining room staff and food were excellent

Review 120:would had liked to be able to get on the mare without cutting through someone's property. should have at least a small public entry. if one was there i did not see it.

Review 121:it was a nice small town. the room was fine, the staff was helpful and their directions were right on i now know an easy place to stay when I need to fly out of Roma

Review 122:The shower would not stay up on the stand so had to hold it while showering. The bread for breakfast was a bit stale.

Review 123:A comfortable bedroom, great dining room around the open fire and great hospitality. On arrival in a rain storm the manager served us afternoon tea on a nice sofa in the dining area. It was a wonderful last night to spend with family without feeling you were at the airport. No noise in the back rooms. Great coffee and cakes for breakfast, but no fresh bread.

Review 124:Note: Check in closes at 11pm. They are very insistant about this. Not an option if you are arriving later than thay into Rome. They advertise a shuttle service but it was near impossible to organise this. It is also advertises itself as 3.1 km from the airport but in reality, it is a 12km drive and costs approx £25 in a taxi in meter.

Review 125:Very comfortable, clean and friendly staff

Review 126:The staff were very pleasant and helpfull. They allowed us ot check in early as we wanted to visit the city of Rome as we only had one day there. The evening meal was exceptional, pure rustic Italian food. We had Bruschetta, Pizza and Pasta. All were freshly made and very flavoursome. The wine and beer were lovely and refreshing. The manager aided our every request and was more than happy to wait on us during our meal. Would highly recomend this please for location, value for money and lovely Italian food and wine. Also they provided a taxi service which was very punctual and not too expensive

Review 127:nothing

Review 128:great welcome and bags carried to our room. The restaurant is excellent - best meal of holiday! Bus stop to the airport is really so close and handy.
