Review 1：The breakfast should be more rich and a bit healthier.

Review 2：La Barca in Secca is a very nice place to stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The area is very nice and peaceful. If you are travelling by car very easy to reach Alghero and also the airport. There is a very nice beach nearby (Mugoni beach with crystal clear water) and also the NEPTUN cave is very close.

Review 3：nothing. Perhaps if you are booking to be near a town, this may not be a good choice for you. It works perfect for us as we wanted peace and quiet.

Review 5：Wi-Fi went out a few times, but worked fine otherwise. Olmedo is only a few minutes away but it's a quiet town so if you want nightlife (we didn't) you'd be better off somewhere else.

Review 6：Very clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and nice terrace. A great place to base out of for the Alghero, Sassari, Porto Torres region. Lussorio, the owner, was delightful, very helpful and considerate. A quiet and peaceful setting.

Review 7：Very quiet and peaceful place in the countryside, well-maintained and with a lot of flowers and trees (you can even find some fruits around). We particularly liked the barbecue site with all facilities (big grill, free wood, shielded from wind, table, light, water), where one can prepare all delicacies brought from local markets. Good location allowing easy exploration of the north-west part of Sardinia (20..30 minutes of driving to Sassari or Alghero or Argentiera or others). Apartments are very clean and equipped with new furniture. Last but not least, very nice and hospitable owner (doesn't speak English but Google Translate on his phone does the trick :-).

Review 8：Staff. They do not speak any language exept for their own. Landlord issomewhat psychologically unstable. Be ready for angry mutters or lettersif he finds crumbles of bread under your children bed.Location. It is located in country side very near railway. To reach it you have to drive ~3km of unpaved road. Comfort. Walls are paper thin, be ready to hear every sneeze or other sound your neighbours make. And finally DO NOT go there with little children. They make noises, drop food on the floor and does a thousand other things that irritates the owner.

Review 10：The wifi was a bit spotty, ranging from excellent to not working at all, but we can survive quite well without it.

Review 11：Our stay at La Barca In Secca was great. The owner was extremely pleasant and accommodating (he speaks no English but worked hard to translate from Italian for us) and the apartment was immaculately clean. Although the property is a bit remote (on a bumpy road), it is just five minutes from the village and 20 minutes from the Alghero airport (and beach), well signposted and easy to find. Other visitors complained about barking dogs, but we barely heard them (and even then probably only because what we'd read made us listen for them) and the visiting cat came only the first evening and was well behaved and pleasant. Breakfast was just packaged cakes and jams and coffee, but we were fine with that...and there was lots of it.

Review 15：Very clean and nice venue. Although the owner does not speak English, he is very friendly and helpful.

Review 16：The location a bit more too remote and with bad access road but easy to find as it is well indicated. We knew it in advance but perhaps next time we would look for a more central location next time not to have to drive back for so long when returning home late. The layout of the apartment is such that it lets in little natural light (despite the crystal door in the dining room and a window in the bedroom), but we were hardly ever there, so no problem for us. Satellite channel TV great, but no kids channels (at least we only found one in Russian, and religious to that) when browsing through more than 200 of them, but again, no big deal for us. The b'fast was optional and free of charge, so we cannot complain of the industrial croissants but for a little higher price and with some proper breakfast in the wonderful and cosy common room/big kitchen it would have been worth paying a little more to enjoy breakfast in bigger and lighter premises and perhaps meeting other guests (there are 5 apartments all in all). However, the kindness and helpfulness of the owner made any possible tiny issues insignificant.

Review 17：We liked the closeness of the location to both Alghero and Sassari (midway). The peaceful surroundings and playground for children, including a small wooden house which our daughter enjoyed a lot. 45 min to the stunning La Pelosa beach and 20 min to Alghero. The apartment was extremely clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Wifi was good, even though he told us it was average speed (not adsl). We found some coffee, tea, milk, lemons and prepacked bakery in the apartment, but for cooking it would have been nice to have some basics like salt, frying oil, pepper, which are not worth buying for a short stay. The pots and pans, plates and cutlery were sufficient for the 3 of us. Comfortable bedding, towels changed every day or every other day, even though we did not need it that often. The same with croissants and cupcakes. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Review 18：The breakfast consists of packed croissants and sweet pastry that taste artificial. The super-friendly owner might be willing to bring someting else every morning providing you speak Italian or take you chances with sign language which we didn't.

Review 19：It is a super-quiet place surrounded by fields. Cats are coming to your door and few dogs bark from the neighbouring house, but besides that you are all alone there - a perfect place for those who like quiet evenings on a terrace with a glass of wine. The room, bathroom and kitchen are new and nicely done with everything you need (including a coffee machine and coffee, sugar and milk delivered by the owner).

Review 20：The mattresses were not so comfortable, to soft and thin.

Review 21：This was a real nice apartment, fully equipped with everything you might need, clean and newly renovated. You would need a car, but it’s nice and quiet (except for the dogs next door barking at night, but I guess that is not the owner`s fault). The owner was really nice (but speaking Italian would be helpful).

Review 22：At first sight, the little village of Olmedo has not much to offer (there are some pizzeria´s), but Alghero is at a 20 minute drive.

Review 23：The owner is very friendly and helpful. The appartment looked as if it was brand new. The construction and decoration has been done very professionally and with high quality materials. It has everything you need, including an espresso machine, brand new silent (!) airco and satelite TV. Some coffee, sugar and muffins were also available for the next morning. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but I would definitely come back here. This is a place where you go to find silence, it is located in the middle of the fields. The apartments are perfect for a couple, and couples with a baby.
