Reviews for Rathview House
Review 1:This is the second year we have stayed with Sharon.Sharon is a very friendly host, nothing is too much bother for her.Her home is beautifully presented and rooms clean and comfortable
Review 2:Sharon was a perfect host, helped arrange a doctor's appointment, worked around our check-in requirements and provided a wonderful breakfast. Close to Swords village & also to Applewood
Review 3:We only stayed one nightand actually checked in late and out before we could even see them again but there was a basket of breakfast foods waiting for us when we returned from a late dinner for the next morning. What a nice thing to do to accommodate our crazy last day in Ireland. Super close to food and the airport and the small town has their own castle walking distance from the B&B!
Review 4:Great place to stay! We were within walking distance of the downtown area and mall. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was very comfortable. Great location for those going to the airport the next day. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to the airport.
Review 5:Not being there for breakfast
Review 6:Sharon was great to us. We had to leave very early the next day and she offered to make us a nice basket to take with us since we couldn't be there for breakfast. Great location and close to lots of restaurants. Very clean and comfortable.
Review 7:No negatives at all.
Review 8:Everything was wonderful, cannot fault anything and would highly recommend this B&B to any traveller. Completely perfect in very way.
Review 9:Enjoyed meeting Sharon very much although we were in and out on our last day of our 2 week vacation. She made an excellent breakfast and the room was comfortable.
Review 10:The hospitality was fantastic -- Sharon goes above and beyond in showing her guests a lovely time and makes sure you are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a clean and hospitable place to stay in the lovely city of Swords.
Review 11:Personal preference is for fluffier pillows.
Review 12:We chose to spent our final night in Ireland at Rathview House because of its proximity to Dublin airport so were not expecting much. Turns out it was one of our favourite places of the whole trip! The very well kept home is walking distance to the Main Street in Swords with several great dining options. Sharon is lovely and helpful and breakfast was fantastic.
Review 13:My wonderful host greeted me at the door and instantly made me feel very welcome. Unlike staying at 'faceless' hotels, this was like being invited into someone's home but with all the facilities that a hotel would offer: en suite, coffee making area, flat screen TV and a great WIFI service plus more. I was offered a lovely afternoon tea in a cosy and sumptuous sitting area and my host was very knowledgeable about the area. All in all I had a fantastic stay and will return if I am in Dublin again.
Review 14:No complaints. Hope to stay here again one day.
Review 15:The owners. Sharon and her husband were terrific, helpful and friendly. Helpful. It was clean and comfortable. Even the cat was friendly! Great breakfast and restaurants within walking distance. Thank you, Rathview.
Review 16:can not really think of anything...rooms space is cozy but not too tight, but you do have to watch your head near shower area.
Review 17:Sharon, owner, was most helpful with info for dining and entertainment places. Breakfast was great. Prime location to walk to all required venues in Sword...but still in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay again!
Review 18:Nothing not to like.
Review 19:This is a small B&B 10 minute from Dublin airport. Excellent if you have a car. Very friendly. Very quiet. Excellent copious breakfast included. Great alternative to the international hotels around the airport. Two minutes walk to restaurants and local pubs. Very fast wifi.
Review 20:Before flying to Ireland, I had contacted Sharon to see if an early arrival was available. She was very accomodating to our needs. From the moment she opened the door, she was fantastic! We felt very welcome on our first trip to Ireland. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Sharon was very helpful in getting us information about getting into Dublin. The Swords express takes you straight into Dublin and only costs around 3 euro. The stop is just a short walk from Rathview House. Our breakfast was top notch! Thanks for an amazing stay! You won't be disappointed!
Review 21:Bed quite firm.
Review 22:Close to airport, no noise from airport at all. Good service. We got an excellent early breakfast on our room, due to our early flight. Bus stop to airport and Dublin city centre nearby.
Review 23:Just a little far from Dublin City Center. By rapid bus 25 min or 40 min by regular city bus. By car, it's about 20 min. If dealing with jet lag, it's not practical to go back to b&b from city to return at a later time. Otherwise, it's a good location with good pubs and shops. Great to visit beautiful Malahide Castle as well.
Review 24:My 13 year old son and I began and ended our amazing road trip of Ireland at this quaint little B&B in Swords right next to Swords Castle, and we were warmly welcomed by Sharon. She goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcomed. Home and guest rooms are cozy and very clean. Breakfasts were perfectly prepared and served on inviting tables with fresh flowers. Recommended!
