Review 1：The attitude of the staff was magnificent. They all were very helpful and friendly and didn't make a single complaint about the mess, which was continuously made by our baby. We would like to thank to Yorgo, Ariadne, Leonidas, Stavroula, and all the other staff for their efforts. When we go to Crete next time, we will definitely stay there again.

Review 8：The staff were exceptional here. Very friendly. Spoke very good English and French. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, near to beach, had a lovely pool. If you ask for anything it is done right away.

Review 9：-drabness of breakfasts (common trait for most of hotels) -you would be charged even for water during meals included in half/full-board -unstable wi-fi -huge amount of aircrafts decending during the day (but not distorbing at night)

Review 15：We were in Crete for only three days and mostly interested in visiting Knossis and the museum and old city Heraklion. It might have been more convenient to stay in or nearer to the city of Heraklion. Taxi from the hotel to the airport will cost 30 euros. Bus costs 2.20 euros but requires 5 minute walk from hotel to bus stop and stops right at airport.

Review 16：The hotel catered mostly to French group tourists during our stay, the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, including providing insect spray if needed (we didn't). The reception was very helpful and all staff spoke English well. The breakfast room offered a good selection. Guests should make sure to stop at the right bus stop #13 for the 5 minute walk to the hotel when traveling by public transportation to Heraklion-2.20 Euros. The facilities are very nice, clean and staff is excellent.

Review 17：The staff was friendly and multilingual and the grounds were lovely.We picked this hotel for our last night in Crete as it is only 15kilometers or so to the airport, and we were glad we did. The dinnerwas reasonably priced and good, and the area near the pool was lively(in a nice way, not ultra-loud) and inviting after dinner - some wereat the bar, some families were visiting or playing games. It is goodvalue for the price and a very nice place for families. There is apath that is a short and straight walk to the beach. Note that whendriving to the hotel, follow the signs for "Ilios" (theydon't say "Hara Ilios," just "Ilios.") Wespent most of our vacation in Western Crete so can't say muchabout the area in Gouvai.

Review 20：Mosquitoes.. there are quite a lot of them. But they have air conditioner and mosquito nets on windows.. sadly we left the balcony open..
