Reviews for Villa Augusto
Review 1:A small problem with the shower over the bath, water ran along bath lip and onto the floor
Review 2:Large spacious villa, lovely period decor. With loads of history behind it. Loved the open fire in the large kitchen and lounge area. Lovely grounds to wander around. Pool & swimming pool
Review 3:We had a wonderful time at Villa Augusto. Augusto and his parents were so kind bringing us jam, pasta sauce and vegetables. We had the pool to ourselves and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean. We will visit again definitely. It would also be a great place to go for families or groups of couples - a great villa in a great location!
Review 4:Mosquitoes, need to drive everywhere, tennis court is in bad condition (just a patch of old crusty asphalt), poor wifi
Review 5:Charming villa, fully equipped kitchen, pool, cool furniture
Review 6:Loved Augusto and his parents. We were made so welcome, like family. We had the use of the pool, tennis court and bikes. We were told all about the history of the village and the villa. We definitely recommend Villa Augusto to everyone.
Review 7:An absolutely wonderful stay. A beautiful area, made this a great stay with our toddler. Massive amount of outdoor space, tennis courts, pool, loads of sun loungers (about 10 between 3 of us!). Really helpful and friendly host (Augusto) drove us around a bit and was always on call if needed. Bikes make it easy to get to the local shop quickly without a car. Not really walkable to Cortona (esp with a toddler!) but this made it more peaceful, and Cortona only 5-10 mins in the car. Also - loads of picakble fresh fruit, veg and herbs on the land to pick! A perfect stay.
Review 8:Washing machine was broken so unable to use. Needed a few more utensils in the Kitchen, which Augusto was happy to supply. A bit further out of town than we realised
Review 9:Augusto, was a wonderful host. Very happy to drive us into town, pick us up. Sylvania was lovely also giving us fresh produce, jam etc. wonderful old antique furniture, paintings books etc.
Review 10:We liked the warm welcome from Augusto, who speaks English. His suggestions where to eat and what to visit in Cortona and surroundings were very helpful. The whole family made us feel at home in "our" own luxurious villa with grand piano and snooker table! We liked the interesting and charming tour given by his father Rolando in his Museo Margaritiano. A romantic historical villa surrounded by a nice garden with a big swimming pool and a tennis court!
Review 11:soooo worth to live there, all the services are the best ,it looks like come back to home,so kind of the owner! We will come back someday!
Review 12:bad bed oldfashion
Review 13:a lot of place, friendly staff big pool
