Review 1：Road is very close, when you have a window opened, its disturbing. Price is not the best.

Review 2：Good location close to the Plitvice lakes, the guy at the reception is very nice, speaks fluent English and German.

Review 3：The rooms are not very comfortable, since the roof is not flat. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, only weak signal in the restaurant. The food for the dinner in the restaurant is very basic, but there is no other place in the vicinity. We were surprised that they accept only cash payment.

Review 32：The staff was very nice and very friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and renovated. It is easy to find and few minutes driving from Plitvicka Jezera. The restaurant/kitchen is opened on evening and ordered food was delicious. We recomend to stay there and for sure try restaurant.

Review 33：The Winnetou is located on the main road leading into the Lake region,approximately 8-9 Kilometers from the #2 entrance to the park. Awonderful family run bussiness, simple and clean. The rooms were smallbut not cramped. Internet free but only in the lobby, resturant areas.Great resturant and the family run atmosphere was truely exceptional.The American Indian Motief was curious but relates to a 1960 Westernfilm shot in the region . Don't forget to ask them about the outragioushistory during the late Serbian wars (the place was actually blown up on2 occasions. Couldn't tell it now). A very popular palce for the eveningmeals as it was always full on the days we stayed, but always peaceful,just what you would need and expect from a country Inn.

I need to stress that I do not blame the Pansion or the owners or the staff for this at all...however if you are arriving by bus (and not renting a vehicle), it will be challenging to get to the pansion from the bus stop....to the parks and get to your next destination if you are traveling through Croatia. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL in personally transporting us to the park gates, finding bus schedules...however it is something to consider. Thank you Pansion Winnetou for being able to assist us!
