This splendid 17th century manor is in the Tuscan countryside, just outside Cortona. It has a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a luxury spa center with outdoor and indoor pools.
Rooms at Il Falconiere are in different locations around the property, which is home to vineyards and olive groves. Each room has with flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is free in public areas.

Review 2：Relaxing place with beautiful views everywhere, our room was big and well furnished, cooking class with lovely Sylvia was amazing experience ,the breakfast was excellent.

Review 3：Some rooms are far apart from the reception and restaurants. Spa/pool closes early (8pm)

Review 15：This place is exactly what we were looking for in Tuscany The restaurant is really great with exellent service and food. The local Baracchi wine is absolutely must try! Cooking class with Silvia was great! We couldn't believe we cooked it by our own))

Review 16：My bathroom roof had a leak so big that when it rained it became absolutely flooded. The TV set was small and too distant to be watched comfortably from the bed. Last but not least, the hotel should aim to please its non-Italian guests: the TV programming only had one English-language channel, one in French, and none in Spanish.

Review 17：The staff was great. The location was optimal as a base for exploration of Southern Tuscany. One should bear in mind that this property is located some distance from the town of Cortona; you need to have your own transportation. Breakfast was superb. Its restaurant is one of the region's finest (and most expensive).

Review 29：I loved this hotel. The grounds are beautiful as is the panorama. Our room was large and very tastefully furnished. There is a lot of common space--terraces and outdoor dining if the weather is good, a beautiful dining room, a gazebo for drinks and tea, etc. A marvelous daily breakfast is included. All in all, a real delight

Review 30：In my opinion entree portions much too small for the high prices. More appropriate as "appetizer plates." Menu prices generally inflated, despite excellent quality and nice presentation. The "free" dessert sampling tray presented after one has ordered one's dessert was not a welcome surprise. Reception office could use another more visible sign out in front. Lock on our room door difficult to operate--very old!

Review 34：Unfortunately the hotel has one dining option (which is Michelin rated) and while the restaurant is fabulous it is expensive, and not an option for everyday use. The hotel is a bit far from Cortona, roughly 15 minutes by car, and it is a little complicated to go at night if you would like to have a few wines etc. It would be nice if the hotel provided a transfer. There is corkage even if you are drinking the wine in common areas.

Review 35：The hotel is wonderful, the view is beautiful, very calm and perfect to relax with a nice spa area that is included at the price. the restaurant is very good, but expensive to eat everyday. the room is big and very comfortable bed with a good bathroom.

Review 38：The valet who was loading the car left my suitcase in the hallway (myson overlooked it too). The hotel called immediately but could not finda shipper to get it to our next destination in less than two or threedays, so we had it sent to the following destination, Rome. This was areal inconvenience.

Review 39：Il Falconiere is beautiful. The grounds are beautifully gardened. Thespa is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and charming. The location isexcellent. It is restful, too. We had dinner in the restaurant, whichwas memorable.

Review 43：The hotel turned off their heat and it was not available. The room was quite cold, the second day they did provide a small space heater which helped. A facility of this nature and cost should have both heat and air conditioning available all year, despite the outside temps. The TV offered only Italian channels, none available in English or German or ??
