Reviews for Geovillage Sport Wellnes & Convention Resort
Review 1:The room where not really clean full of ants and mosquitos in November and the staff really didn't care. The staff was not really able to speak good english
Review 2:The food was pretty good and the spa available is a plus
Review 3:We were travelling around Sardinia and decided to book a nice hotel that had all the amenities and some life as a treat, but the Hotel is set in the middle of an industrial estate. There are no nice bars or restaurants to stroll to, and no decent views. It is obviously a place for sports teams to train at. It was soulless and shabby. We had upgraded to a suite, but we wished we had not bothered as the room didn't have any elegance or class. The wifi was ridiculously poor, the TV advertised UK channels but they weren't on and there was a kettle but no cups! There was a minibar but hardly anything in it! The restaurant that was open was OK but expensive. The breakfast was appalling - out of a 3 day stay we only ate it the first morning!!!
Review 4:My Husband who is big into weightlifting was impressed by the gym.... and the spa was pleasant.
Review 5:The hotel is located in the industrial zone, without a car to get to the market and around the roads are not sidewalks. The city and the beach are very far.
Review 6:Comfortable and luxury complex with great service. Activities in this hotel in any weather.
Review 7:nowhere to walk to - in industrial zone.
Review 8:Very clean, 4 star, great pool facilities. Nice grounds. Great base for touring NW Sardinia. Rent a car unless you want to stay onsite and have a sporty holiday
Review 9:It may sound cheap, but I don't know why we had to pay extra to go into hotel's spa & wellness. This should be included in price.
Review 10:We stayed here only for one night, but we liked it very much - very nice place and a lot to do around.
Review 11:1) 15 euro room service charge for two drinks. No chare is mentioned in any information provided and the person I was ordering from didn't speak English so couldn't tell me how much it was. Decided to risk it thinking it would probably be a few euro! When I raised this on check out I was told that people are always complaining about it and nothing changes!!2) No restaurants open in the afternoon until 7pm. After a big breakfast (which is decidedly average and luke warm) we were not hungry for lunch but wold be starving by 7pm. Quite an isolated resort so no where to go nearby. This really affected us on the night that the power went out in the hotel. We had a wait of over an hour for a table in the pizzaria. When we did get sat (after others who had been waiting for less time), we ordered and then the power went. We noticed that people who had ordered pizzas, as we had, were still getting them because it was a wood fired pizza oven. Feeling reassured we waited and waited and waited. After another hour we noticed that we were the only ones not served and the pizza oven was off. No one thought to tell us as we continued to pay for drinks while we were waiting. No apologies, no explanation. It was after 10pm so the other restaurant had closed. Staff at reception said they couldn't help and the barman refused their request to give us crisps from the bar. Eventually after 11pm (we hadn't eaten since breakfast) a member of staff from the restaurant gave us some bread and cheese.3) don't bother trying to make a complaint. You'll be fobbed off with promises that the manager, who will be in soon, will contact you which never happens. The staff seem to be left to their own devices to deal with crisis with no guidance or direction. The power went out on a night when the biggest cyclone in years had been predicted. As a large resort do you not plan to have more than one person on reception and and a manager on site in preparation?
Review 12:The spa was great. We went at a quiet time of day so we had the place to ourselves for some of the time. The rooms were a good size.
Review 13:Impossible to find by Satnav. A different route was used every time we returned to the resort. It should be noted that most things in Sardinia are closed even in resorts like this in early October. Staff could be friendlier. I made a complaint at reception about a member of staff called Silvio who had been rude to me 3 days in a row and who had ignored my requests. I asked to speak to the manager who was not available so asked that that he contact me when in. He never made any attempt to. Disappointed about how coffee was distributed at breakfast.
Review 14:Beautiful resort. Plenty of things to do. Some staff were very friendly, attentive and engaging (especially Danilo at the pool bar, Benjamino and Sussanna in the dining room.
Review 15:- awful breakfast, dirty and old cups & plates - the room's painting was destroyed here and there - old and tiny TV - leftover toiletries in the shower area and a clogged sink - the couch had stains on it - the resort is located in an industrial area
Review 16:- large room with a green patio - the resort has a nice layout and it makes you feel as if you were in a village with colorful small houses - huge swimming pool
Review 17:We had early flight, so could not have a breakfast at the hotel, and they gave as "breakfast box" to go. There was a 2 cookies, 2 pieces of packed toast (20 gram maximum), jam, bottle of juice and one pear. In fact there was nothing to eat, we were really hungry and had to go to a cafe. It would be much better if they add at least one croissant inside.
Review 18:The room is big and clean, pool is nice.
Review 19:Awkward underground carpark. I have never seen a carpark with so many poles, make it really difficult to maneouve and of couse, not to mention some inconsiderate drivers who park right in the middle of two parking spots. That takes up a lot of space and the hotel should manage it better. In fact, anyone can go in the carpark as there is no gate so how can you tell if you are hotel guest or not. Room is very hot even though we switched on the aircon. Outside is much cooler but there are mosquitos if you open the window. The hotel is located in an industrial area, not so pretty but the advantage is that it is only 10-15 mins drive to the beach. The hotel complex is big and they even give you a map to find the facilities. I have to say the signage either doesn't exist or bad direction, otherwise why do we need to use a map inside your hotel. If you use the spa, there is a few Euro charge for the towel and slipper which I think is fair. But note that there is no shampoo or soap inside the shower. May be they want to encourage you walk back to your own room for shower.
Review 20:Good facilities, spa and wellness treatment is also great. Breakfast selection is better than most hotel. The only downside is the set up of the breakfast room gives you the felling of eating in a staff canteen, everything self service and cold drinks are served with plastic dispoable cups. I like the firm bed as it is much better than sleeping on soft mattress that sinks in the middle. Time will tell when you get older. Overall I find it good value for money. But for sure there are lots of areas that can be improved to exceed the level.
Review 21:Coffe for the breakfast
Review 22:Value for the money excellent - 49 €, quiet area, spacious rooms, nice bathroom, nice balcony, nice large pool, pool bar too expensive, otherwise ok, parking
Review 23:We had a problem with our room it was located just next to the exit place from the kitchen where the staff go out to smoke and sit there talking louder. Our room has a nice balcony that we wanted to enjoy, but with the smoke and the noise it was not possible, so we went to reception to ask if would be possible to change the room. The person who attended us ask to another person to show us a different room, but the new room was the next one to our room, so we should have the same problem, also that room was ocupied. It is a big hotel and based on the system they had with the room card to access to it, we knew there were a lot of rooms empty. The reception woman told us that no rooms are available and we should wait until next day to talk with his manager and if he confirms that, we would change room. Really annoying.
Review 24:when our little baby was crawling down the floor a part of the ceiling came down. Luckely not right on top of our baby. But, what if......... :-( We didn't have te time to use the facilities because of al the moving. We also didn't use the shower because of the cold brown water. We actually felt pretty dirty after our stay.
Review 25:If you like a hotelroom where the ceiling comes down, then this is the perfect place to stay! We got a new room, so that was very nice. Luckely in our next room we got cold brown water. We really did like that :-( Howere, we got our money back for one nigt. So, that's very nice. And, very nice our baby is still alive.
Review 26:Bedroom walls were too thin - we could hear everything from the next room where a young child was staying. Could also hear loud guests walking past down the corridor. More gluten-free options would have been good.
Review 27:Spa voucher, free beach shuttle, value for money, room size, gym, restaurant food was excellent. Good English spoken by staff.
Review 28:I booked accommodation with parking, however if we arrived after 8pm, there were no more parking spots in the garage. The breakfast was also disappointing taking into account quality of the resort. Otherwise ok
Review 29:The variety of facilities/activities offered, restaurants on the hotel ground
Review 30:There was very little signage around the resort. The map they give you to find your rooms is terrible. There is no signage for rooms 100 up. We spent 20 mins wandering around the resort to find our rooms. A lot of staff had very little to no English. No maps of the city centre in the hotel. When we asked to recommend somewhere to eat in the city centre was told there are lots of nice places. Not very helpful. €20 e/w to city centre which was 15 mins away. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all no one checking you in to give it more of a personal touch. No atmosphere in hotel bar in the evening. No welcome facilities in room (tea, coffee) which we've had in most other 4* hotels.
Review 31:The use of the spa facilities wad the highlight of the trip. Enjoyed eating in the Pizzeria. Food was excellent. Pool bar was fun. Lots of tennis courts, indoor pool, Great for sporty types.
Review 32:I told the reception twice that the Jacuzzi in our garden is a little bit dirty and does not bubble. The pump worked though. They told me they fix it and took notes each time. But nothing happened. When we wanted to check out we called the reeption for a shuttle to the main building. But again nothing happened so we walked there. The reception staff was friendly but did not take our requests seriously that was disappointing. They also told us we could find porceddu arrosto in every Trattoria and Agriturismo. That was not true and we ended up hungry and disappointed at a late night dinner in the Hotel... That was good though!
Review 33:We received an upgrade to a garden house! That was nice and spacious. The pool with the bar was awesome.
Review 34:I came alone to the hotel lately at night. After I enter the room myroom phone started ringing. It rang 8-10 times from 1.5. till 2.5 A.m! Itook it several times but nobody answered! I got very angry and I askedwho is this. The person (a man) said my room number and after said hegot wrong number (!) I told very roughly I don't want these callsanymore in the middle of the night and he stopped calling. And only thereseptionist knew my room number. It was a phone maniac between thestuff, for sure!
Review 35:Spa is included at the price. Good beach access. Amazingbeackfast. Big room.
Review 36:Breakfast supposed to be available from 7.15, they`ve opened the restaurant at 7.30 then when I wanted to drink a coffee (not that instant undrinkable one from the machine!!! a real coffee from beans) then they told me that it`s available from 8.00 only. This is ridiculous . We had to leave at 7.45 - as we had a flight to catch so basically we couldn`t eat more than a slice of ham & cheese on a bread (which was inedible...) VERY disappointed in food. Last September my husband got food poisoning from the tuna steak. he was sick for 2 days. So never go to Il Mirto restaurant. BAd quality and extremely expensive. Big disappointment. We`ll never go back again.
Review 37:Nice size room, well equipped, friendly staff.
Review 38:Very rude and unhelpful staff, poor service at the Resteurant. Staff at the tennis club unable and unhelpful to organise a coaching/sparring partner. Cancellation of tennis court booking without verbal or written acknowledgment of the customer.
Review 39:Good selection of activities and spacious room
Review 40:Everything was great! We got a nice Sweet room for only 49 euro a day, and SPA procedure was included. Nice breakfast. Clean and comfortable accomodation in Sardinia.
Review 41:Some surly staff on reception - tended to be male. Inconsistent information re hotel services. Some distance from town and no options for coach tours
Review 42:Excellent rooms with good bathroom facilities and small garden. Wonderful pool with poolside bar and plenty of sunbeds. Welcoming reception area with some very helpful staff. Beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoyable spa with one visit included in hotel stay
Review 43:there are no activities/music during the evening to entertain. which was kinda boring and we needed go to sleep early :/ apart of that was fantastic
Review 44:breakfast was good, restaurants are great inside the compound too. swimming pool and SPA are TOP. was clean too most of all. highly recomended
Review 45:Gym is not airconditioned and no towels or water provided. Bed was quite hard Only english channel on Satellite TV (BBC) rarely had signal.
Review 46:Large well equipped gym (hood free weights selection) Gluten free bread at breakfast At €49 per night, it was great value
Review 47:There was practically a wig in the bath plug hole and there was no plug for the bath . The shower was difficult to adjust and tiger was only cold water in the bidet. The air conditioning flooded the bathroom.
Review 48:Surroundings of venue and bedroom. Cleanish but certain technical problems arose. Beautiful a la carte restaurant.
Review 49:Would be great if hotel could arrange shuttle to/from Olbia town centre in late evening. As the last bus is before 8pm. Some people don't drive and it would make it easier.
Review 50:Great place to stay. Good value for money.
Review 51:the location is a bit tricky because the The address doesn't appear on the gps. you should look for Korea street and look the signs on your left. the parking is underground, very crowded and not very convenient for parking. the breakfast didn't had a big variety and the eggs weren't cooked enough.
Review 52:stayed for 3 days and loved almost everything about this hotel. the room is very big, comfortable and clean, with a big bad, shower and a bath and a very nice balcony. the facilities are great: the pool is big and beautiful. also we used the 90 minutes free spa entrance, and it was fun and relaxing. Overall very good hotel with good prices and great value for money.
Review 53:Due to business and leisure purposes I travel a lot and haveseen/stayed in a fair share or 4* hotels. The Geovillage Resort inOlbia is the worst and unfriendliest 4* hotel I have ever stayed in.I should have trusted the other comments I read before I booked the hotel, but I wanted to see for myself - especially because the pictures on booking.com spoke another language (a very positive one) - Big mistake!Facts:- Bad and un-schooled service with very bad fitted suits- Breakfast in a huge loud room, very much like in my younger days at the youth Hostal. The breakfast was surrounded by many flies, especially on the meat/ham- The beds are rock hard - not because of the high quality- The Management was impossible (we went to the reception to ask for an alternative solution for our mattress. We were shown to an apartment that was already in use by other guests. We were then told that there is no solution. No "sorry", no understanding or empathy, no manager came to speak to us - even after we asked to speak to him as we knew he was in the back office and had time to speak to the staff when they had questions they could not answer)- We had to pay upfront / upon arrival- The management does not agree with paying money back (receptionist and our travel agency told us), even though they don't have a solution to a/several problems- Pool area (at the reception) is extremely loud (music)- Pool area at the Piazza with 50m pool was quiet, but you have to pay (!
Review 54:Nothing
Review 55:Parking is challenging especially as cars are parked out of parking bays preventing cars to maneuver. Room cleaning services varied over the 10-day period we stayed, sometimes leaving sand on the floor and beds.
Review 56:Multiple options to eat, swim and engage into activities are available, giving flexibility for days you just feel like staying in. The complimentary spa session for hotel guests was great. Bedrooms with air conditioning, comfortable beds, bath tub and shower were spacious especially for families with young children. The location is convenient for guests with cars, just a few minutes from Olbia old town centre, Golfo Aranci and Costa Smeralda.
Review 57:The pool is really nice but it's sad that they play such loud music every day. It prevented us from relaxing and we sort of run off to the beaches and nice surroundings the region has to offer. We had a poor quality wifi connection in the room.
Review 58:Very nice, clean hotel. Spacious room, large variety in breakfast, comfortable bed, several nice restaurants (remember to visit the Sa Mesa). Very good quality for the price you pay. Do visit the several beautiful beaches at the Costa Smeralda.
Review 59:The location is too remote unless you have a car and a taxi to the shopping center was €25 each way. There is nowhere to get cash from in the hotel and no shop to get snacks for the room. The pool bar was always running out of food and not have the food they were meant to have after 16:00 each day. The beds were too hard. The restaurant management was terrible you had to wait a long time to be seated, served and to get your bill and the manager was SO RUDE waving things in my face when I questioned people jumping the queue whilst we had waited patiently for large families to be seated.
Review 60:We liked the gym, pool, spacious room and bathroom. the amount of food you get for the price in the restaurant.
Review 61:The 'a la carte' restaurant was VERY poor. The quality of the food was unacceptable and lets down the whole resort.
Review 62:Pool area, room, breakfast, friendliness of staff.
Review 63:Pool area very busy and noisy, with loud music played all day - not good if you want to read your book! Breakfast was busy, chaotic and often ran out of food, drinks etc. lots of waiting around for trays, machines etc to be re-filled. We gave up after a few days and didn't bother. You definitely need a car as hotel is in an industrial estate - no local amenities.
Review 64:Good value for money. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Pizza restaurant was very good.
Review 65:Personnel, mainly during the breakfast, very rude. Every single morning, around 9 am, they've run out of bread!!!! Is that a breakfast?
Review 66:Very clean; nice swimming pool Excellent coffee during breakfast....the Barista top!!!
Review 67:The stuff at the pool bar. We had to wait 15min to get a drink, beside there was some other stuff they could have helped out.
Review 68:The pool area is very nice. The restaurants are beautiful, you sit in a well protected outside space.
Review 69:huge industrial-style hotel with hundreds of people everywhere, poor room cleaning service
Review 70:olimpic pool great to swim, air conditioning and underground car park.
Review 71:While advertised clay tennis courts, we were unable to play on them. Free 90 minute spa, but times were unavailable. VERY loud room as it overlooked the stage and dance lessons occurred every night until midnight. Need to alert guests ahead of time of this. Property needed updating and a good cleaning.
Review 72:Appreciated the free beach shuttle. Nice variety for breakfast. Nice pool.
Review 73:Staff needed more help at busy times.
Review 74:Staff were amazingly helpful and work there socks off to please. Especially in the breakfast restaurant and on reception. Great facilities.
Review 75:Oh my where to start. Assigned room 114, okay room (hard pillows if thatis possible) but at 10:00 pm a dance class started right outside ourroom. Very loud and was scheduled to last until midnight! Staff was notreally helpful to resolve the issue. The next day we were given anotherroom. Read the fine print. There is more than one beach you can get afree shuttle to. The clay tennis courts are a joke and not part of thefree tennis time. They are in very poor condition and the word"clay" should only refer to the color. Overall this is a very'tired' facility and I would not refer a friend to stay here.Only way to get around is Taxi's or paid shuttles which are mostlyflat rate charges and expensive.
Review 76:Because you are not near anything at this resort it was nice to haveoptions for dinner. The outdoor pool was my favorite part, it is verylarge and had a swim up bar. The breakfast was good, lots of fruit andbread choices. Hot food was okay but they kept running out.
Review 77:The restaurant where breakfast and buffet dinner were served was a true catastrophy. Very poor service due to poor management, with missing food, long waiting for coffee (or rather eternal waiting), etc. The rest of the hotel was nice, so it is a pity that the buffet restaurant and breakfast was so bad.
Review 78:The hotel was poorly managed. When you wanted something done it took an age - took 3 hours to get someone to find that our air con wasn't working - and there was no shop selling snacks, papers etc. even though you are out of town. Most importantly the air con was RUBBISH throughout the hotel.
Review 79:The breakfast was already and the food in the poolside restaurant was good.
Review 80:Air conditioning not functioning properly throughout hotel and bedrooms. Lots of minor faults/damage not being attended to eg. broken soap dispenser in gents all two weeks, and no paper hand towels.
Review 81:Pool and pool restaurant good. Piazette bar/restaurant good, but wider variety on menu would be good.
Review 82:Rooms are very spread out. Our room was a long, uphill climb from reception and all facilities (not an issue for everyone but being heavily pregnant and in 40 degree heat it was less comfortable!). 4 pm check in seemed late.
Review 83:Paid for a standard double and got upgraded to a garden villa which was huge! Very professional staff and good on site facilities.
Review 84:I wouldn't say that we had a bad experience, but there was something about this hotel that felt unfinished. It was incredibly hot, and there was no place to buy a nice big bottle of water. The restaurants were pretty limited (both in number and in menu selection) and considering how isolated this hotel is, this took away from the the culinary experience that I expect in Italy. The opening times for the kids club did not match up with the available times for the spa, so we were not able to use the spa services that are included. The hotel is quite expensive, and yet we still had to pay extra for beach towels. Individually none of these things were a problem, but collectively they really took away from the experience. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to my friends.
Review 85:The pool was very nice. The beach nearby (free shuttle) was also beautiful, quiet and serene. A absolutely great way to spend the day. The "family room" was well set up, so our two kids had their own beds and there was still plenty of space. We didn't end up using it, but we stopped by the kids club to check it out and the people were very kind and got on well with the children.
Review 86:Pillows were uncomfortable, could do with two pillows to choose from in the room. Breakfast range was disappointing.
Review 87:The hotel was very clean, the pool guards were friendly and can always find you a seat at the pool not too crowded. Pool restaurant stag and pizzeria at the Geopalace and food was very good.
Review 88:Air-conditioning in the rooms does not go low enough. It's ok, but not as low as one would like on the hot days of July.
Review 89:The staff. Very friendly and helpful, especially the waiting and room cleaning staff. Very nice pizza at the pizzeria. Would definitely stay again as makes a great base to explore the north end of the island.
Review 90:Breakfast was the same every day. After 9 h was always something missing- spoons, forks, knives . Too much time needed to add food. There was only tomato as salad and not every day. Staff at the restaurant is always busy but desorganised. On my last day the waitress was angry because I sat at the table for more people and I was alone. Currently there were no small tables available, so I had no choice and everyone could sit down with me if wanted. Room cleaning was ' everyday , but the bedding replaced the 8th day of stay . Terrace is not cleaned .
Review 91:Swiming pool, Sa Messa Restaurant, surroundings, room, bed. Geovillage is very beautifull place to stay, because Olibia is not very inetresting town.
Review 92:Worst parking carage ever! Hotel is located in industrial area. You definitely need a car.
Review 93:Great pool, gym and other sports facilities. Nice environment. Good dining, good breakfast. Activities for children.
Review 94:The staff at the front desk did not remedy any problems we had & could not be trusted to carry out any request (ranging from no plug in bath to arranging an airport transfer!). We felt they just said they would do something & then never actually did anything. I have never had a worse experience (& we had just travelled through all Italy including the neighbouring island of Sicily). Frankly we still can't believe just how bad they were!
Review 95:The room itself was big (we had paid for a suite), was bright, airy, clean & comfortable
Review 96:They could have spoken better english - most of waiters did not speak english at all - funny though, restaurants closed in the afternoon - pretty annoying when kids get hungry :)
Review 97:Very friendly and helpful staff members, awesome outdoor pool with great dj playing smooth deep house tracks - perfect for me. Amazing coffee served for your breakfast !
Review 98:Hotel is pretentious, location is not nice, beds hard and airco very noisy and only warm air came out, it was a bit of a nightmare. Full bin of previous guests. Worst was yet to come: the breakfast. We were speechless, it was our worst ever.
Review 99:Wish I could be more positive but actually the only good thing was that we didn't book more than one night. Swimmingpool was nice, if you forget the loud music.
Review 100:The breakfast after few days is boring and less Italien foods are presented. But the coffee was always perfect.
Review 101:All colleagues of hotel are very frendly and kind.
Review 102:Breakfast was not Italian, was simple boring and not tasty. No cucumber no fish no mozzarella no local products. 4 star hotel should try little bit harder with breakfast. Dirty water in pool and lots of wasps in the pool very dangers. Air conditioning not helpful at all need some fan in the rooms.
Review 103:Nice and close everywhere. Clean and spacious.
Review 104:4 pm check in is a little late. However, we were able to use the facilities before and after check-in, check-out time. A huge plus!
Review 105:The complimentary 90 minute spa pool/sauna session for 2 was wonderful after a long flight. The breakfast is amazing! The rooms are big and modern. On our second stay we were upgraded to a suite with 2 balconies. The bathrooms are luxurious. The overall facility is excellent. We will definitely stay again when traveling in and out of Sardegna.
Review 106:The reception staff were imbued with a sense lethargy only rivalled by corpses. It took over two hours to check us in - during which time numerous other individuals arrived and were provided rooms - and only after a complaint to the front office manager did the staff 'identify' an available room of our type.
Review 107:The spa facilities
Review 108:Skimped on little things that make a difference eg. no mattress cover on bed (sheet directly on mattress), no tea/coffee making facility in the room.
Review 109:Hotel facilities, breakfast, excellent spa, large room and balcony, helpful staff.
Review 110:We booked a room for a week in June and were sorry to go away as the time passed by so quickly. We liked the hotel and its staff that was friendly and helpful. The room was really good with a big and comfortable bed.The nearest excellent beaches were within 10 mintes drive. We definitely recommend this hotel to all potential guests. Best regards, Inna from Prague
Review 111:-Wifi was unusable, poor connection. -Poor air condition in the room -We stayed at the hotel in 9 nights, breakfast choices was actually the same all days. Not even vegetables. -Too early check out time, but I think it´s the same whenever you are in Italy
Review 112:-Size of resort -Facilities -Nice staffs around facilities -Indoor garage, so the car was chilled inside.
Review 113:We hated the parking, very crowded every day and the paths are so narrow that we were afraid of scratching our (rented) car. Also, the breakfast was good but could be a bit better, there is a lot of variety but the quality is not there and they didn't change much from one day to another (ah and I couldn't drink the juices, the flavor was very artificial). The location is not the best - industrial area but if you have a car that's ok, you can get to the beaches in 15min.
Review 114:Really enjoyed the personal, everyone was so kind. The prices at the pool and the restaurant by the pool are affordable (a bottle of water costs 1 euro only). They always have music by the pool and some activities (aqua gym, contests...). The room was large and the bed was comfortable, the cleaning ladies did a perfect job every day (we stayed one week). We also enjoyed the spa and the fitness gym!
Review 115:The staff never smiled, and wasn't very helpful. Check in time at 1600 was way too late for us. The pool was dirty. The breakfast was bad. Almost every tray was empty and the staff was not able to fill it up.
Review 116:The rooms had a good size and a held good standards. The airconditioning system worked perfectly.
Review 117:Nice breakfast , full range of food. Fresh every day baked buns and bread, scrambled eggs as much as you want, food selection of cheese and cold platter meat. All like in 5 star hotel. Clean and lovely swimming pool with people who are looking after you, best music, excellent staff. Restaurant with absolutely unbeatable pizza and sea food. Recommended for everyone. Staff speak English. Very clean room, small fridge, aircondition.
Review 118:Poor signage when we are driving the car without GPS. No signage to mention parking the car before check in. No direct access to lobby when you are driving the car. Old decorated room with some furnitures are broken. Fair English speaking of staff. Air conditioning with low wind only, could not adjust the room temperature. Poor wi Fi connection even though all areas are coverage.
Review 119:Nice swimming pool. All areas is clean and feel comfort.
Review 120:It would have been nice for the 50 metre pool to have been open and for more variety of choice of the breakfast menu
Review 121:Rooms and staff and food were all excellent we came for a biking holiday and found the accomadation to be perfect the staff on reception were very good very helpful
Review 122:If I was being really picky I would say the gym not opening until 9 am we would have used it before breakfast but not s problem running around the grounds is lovely
Review 123:We had a great stay staff so lovely extremely helpful my charger would not work and the reception were helpful charging my phone over night. Breakfast was fabulous loved the outside setting coffee waiter really on the ball we had two rooms both great and spacious the spa was fab hairdresser in hair salon did a fab blow dry and we had such a wonderful relaxed holiday thank you to all at Geovillage x
Review 124:The staff from the pizzeria are very slow in coming with the check and usually misplace it so you need to know what you order at the end of the meal. Underground parking place not good for bigger cars, so do rent a small one to manage to park it. Wi-Fi is very slow in the evening. Definitely rent a car for easy access to the hotel as it's in the industrial part of the city.
Review 125:The hotel has lots of facilities that can help you spend the time nice like: indoor and outdoor pool, spa, tennis and football court, gym. Lots of activities to entertain the guests.
Review 126:Room has mouldy smell (we stay in end of June), cleaning of floor was very bad, same as shower-it was not cleaned at all during our three nights stay. I did not like food in Pizzeria , dine there two times, both was very disappointed, I saw that other people even return food back.
Review 127:Pool area, gardens area, SPA, Breakfast, parking.
Review 128:Thought the breakfast was poor and there was lots of flies everywhere in breakfast area
Review 129:10 mins to get to olbia town for evening and 10 mins to get to beaches on puttulongu
Review 130:Instead of being in the main hotel building we were at the top of a steep hill and weren't informed by reception about the shuttle bus. We worked it out by ourselves after a couple of hikes. The aircon is two out of three rooms didn't work and the telephone in the other room didn't work. We informed the reception twice but didn't receive any assistance other than saying they would send someone to see about it. This person did not appear.
Review 131:Geovillage was perfect for us.No need to use the car. Great pool/bar and restaurant, both reasonably priced with great staff A visit to the spa was included in the price
Review 132:Breakfast options were not great, We arrived at 11am and were refused to be allocated a room till 4 pm which is when Check-in begins. However the lady didn't even check with cleaning staff if room was ready. Pool staff didn't understand English and it took longer than necessary to order Lunch. Also Pool toilets lock was flimsy/ broken and no soap was available in the pool toilets. We requested extra towels on 3 different occasions and our needs were told we would get these when cleaner came round which was at 5pm. Also Spa is free on first visit and thereafter chargeable 15 Euros per person, this should have been included in the stay price rather than being charged additionally. Also Spa closed too early at 8pm we would have liked access at all hours of the day.
Review 133:Spa was lovely with a lot of facilities, probably the best spa we have ever visited. The Staff was extremely helpful too. Gym was great and the room was beautiful and clean with a great balcony view.
Review 134:Hotel to far from Olbia to walk and nothing locally so you will have to use the Bus service. It doesn't run on Sunday and last Bus back is 8pm so you will have to get a Taxi if you want to stay out late.
Review 135:Friendly staff especially at the Pool Bar. Good value considering all the facilities available. Free Beach service and local Bus to Olbia means you do not need to hire a car.
Review 136:Hotel was very clean and the staff was super helpful. If we had something we wanted to do, the staff organized it for us. Food at the hotel, including the breakfast, was good.
Review 137:The breakfast area from 9 to 10 is too crowded too many people to small room, they should open more tables beside they have space to do it. The food is good but waiting to have a seat is not. Also the check out time at 10 am is not convinient it should be at 12.
Review 138:The amenities of hotel such as pool, garage, gym, spa. The pool restaurant has a good meal for fair price.
Review 139:There was football tournament with over 100 kids and they were doing somuch noise! I was given a connecting room with on the other side of thedoor some kinds making lots of noise. I was unable to work and nor wasI able to go to sleep early. Called the reception 3 times and got thesame message over and over again: we are taking care of it. Nevercoming back.
Review 140:It was a bit out of the way but there are shuttles to the beach from the hotel and to olbia and taxis arent too bad.
Review 141:The staff were very helpful and the onsite tour and hire company were very good. The facilities were top class and I would stay here again.
Review 142:The pool is lovely, rooms very large even for standard double. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Friendly staff, great base for travelling around the area
