Reviews for Laune Bridge House Guest Accommodation

Review 1:This guest house was terrible. It was very noisy (very thin walls) and wooden floor boards. When we arrived at 5pm our room was not ready and we had to wait 30 minutes.

Review 2:Location - just a short walk to restaurants and the view from our room was lovely.

Review 3:Dusty cobwebs on ceiling in room. Quite noisy stairs and main front door.

Review 4:Host was very friendly. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices, in a lovely room. Location was across bridge from main town, with a lovely view and walk into town. Good value for money

Review 5:The only issue we had was the downstairs common area was below our room and we got a bit of conversation noise after we went to bed. But we're at the 'grumpy old' age now.

Review 6:There's lots of parking. There's lots of room in the common areas and great facilities for sitting chatting or reading. There's a TV area too. Our room was large and well appointed. Ask for a room looking at the old bridge at the front. The sunrise view is lovely. Nice place.

Review 7:We had a lovely stay at Laune Bridge. The room, facilities, location, and breakfast were all great. However, what made our stay exceptional was the welcome we received from Tina the owner and her staff. I was on crutches following an accident and received help and assistance throughout our stay. I felt very comfortable in this lovely, very friendly B&B. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again.

Review 8:Noise (we could hear our neighbors, the traffic, even them opening the door to the toilet), size of the room, no room with bathtub.

Review 9:Our host : she went to great length to make us happy. We changed room, location across the bridge. Very accommodating host.

Review 10:Supper friendly had a great tea coffee& drinks area in the dining room looking out on a fabulous view which you could access anytime& she even came in and offered us biscuits. The morning we checked out we left really early to climb carrontuhill & got soaked & we rang to see if we could go back and use the showers after and she said no problem we'll look after you&she did. Was really nice so homely & friendly. Would highly recommend it to anyone :)

Review 11:Tina, the manager, was very nice and helpful. The breakfast is an excellent start into the day. It was just like home and the walk distance to town is just what I looked for. So I can very recommend this B&B. I'll come back!

Review 12:Friendly helpful people. Good places to eat close by.

Review 13:Only dislike was the two single beds pushed together

Review 14:Everything was clean and the staff were polite and friendly.

Review 15:Wifi unpredictable

Review 16:Pleasantly situated overlooking Laune river.

Review 17:It took quite a while to get the WiFi to work, although billed as being available. Being able to pick up e-mails is important to me.

Review 18:View of the town and Laune River Bridge from our room.

Review 19:Lovely rooms. loved the decor and the family were v.nice people.

Review 20:no complaints at all.

Review 40:Friendliness, location and standards

Review 41:There's nothing I can fault

Review 42:The staff were pleasant & friendly..Particularly the manager Christina.she made us feel at home and we definitely enjoyed our stay..

Review 43:The room didnt have hot drink making facilities you had to go downstairs if you wanted a hot drink and who wants to go into a communial area in their underwear !!!

Review 44:The host was very hospitable and the views were fantastic

Review 45:The room was at the back of a door --room D---and when the people goingto the next room at 3.40 A.M. slapped back the fire door against ourroom, it woke me and I was stll awake at 6.40 A.M. No carpet on stairsand as we were all climbing the stairs it made alot of noise.I Could notstay in that room again. I would love to recommend the place but underthe condition that the person would see the room first. A cheap room andno sleep is not my idea of a night out.

Review 46:The welcome. Got coffe on arrival.

Review 47:The other people in the B&B - they had no respect, they let young children running in the hall even if it was late it would be good to put a sign advising people of being quiet after 10 pm The breakfast was good, but many proposed products were not homemade

Review 48:The welcome and the decoration of the room The owner even proposed something to drink when we arrived

Review 49:Wooden floors they make some racket when people pass your room but that is a minor gripe.

Review 50:The room was very clean, breakfast and tea making facilities were first class what a view. very friendly owners will recommend to friends.

Review 51:The flooring is all wooden which can be a little loud when people are walking around and getting in late.

Review 52:My husband and I had a fantastic trip. Laymen Bridge Guest Hose has the real country feel which is exactly what we were looking for. Perfect location to drive the Ring of Kerry, St Valencia and The Dingle Peninsula. Killorglin is a likely quaint little place with a few shops, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone.

Review 53:The bed was not the most comfortable, not enough channels on the TV.

Review 54:Cleanliness of the room, pet friendly and quiet.
