Reviews for Westfield House
Review 1:We had to delay our trip for a few days due to illness. Even though it was short term and we couldn't arrange this through the website, after calling the place it was no problem and we can arrive a few days later
Review 2:It feels more like a hotel rather than a B&B.
Review 3:The house is very well located in Killorgin. The room was big, and comfortable. Nice welcome by the owner.
Review 4:Had to go into the hallway for internet access, but wasn't that much of an inconvenience for us.
Review 5:It felt like home. The owner was very hospitable; helped with directions. Fantastic home-cooked breakfast choices.
Review 6:Marie & Leonard were so helpful they drove us into town anytime we wanted to go. it was also very quite at night making it very easy to sleep I will be going back there the next time I am in killorglin.
Review 7:Quite basic, but at the price it would be churlish to complain.
Review 8:Everything you need from a B&B at a very good price. Everythingclean and tidy. Good size room. Owner very nice.
Review 9:The hosts were very welcoming, as was the reason that we booked. Breakfast superb, room was excellent. The house martins will keep you amused for hours. A sight to see!!
Review 10:Marie was excellent. She could not do enough for us, a group cycling the ring of kerry. she even made breakfast at 06:00 on the saturday morning, so she had to get up at 05:00 to prepare.
Review 11:The only fault I have with the Westfield House is when the room was tidied up while we were out the door was left unlocked, which left me feeling a little uneasy in case someone else had gone around the room or through my stuff but otherwise a perfect house and perfect room (Thankfully nobody was in my room or in my stuff )
Review 12:Great location, although google maps only brought you to the town and not the house it really is perfectly located with great roads the whole way to it. Friendly helpful owners & great craic. Big rooms, beautiful views at the front of the house, heaters available in room so you can have your room as hot or as cold as you like. I've stayed in B&B's before where they frown upon you coming back late but we were down for the Rally Of The Lakes and home at the early hours of the morning each night and that was no problem :) Once we notified them of our arrival time for the Friday they were flexible with our check in time which was great help.
Review 13:There was nothing I didnt like
Review 14:Very friendly owners made me and my friends very welcome and very understanding of the journey we took and the purpose of our trip
Review 15:Hospitable and nice owner, big house with big and comfortable rooms. Irish and full continental breakfast, prepared from owners. Close to peacefull town (lower prices oh beer as in turistic areas). Recomended wery much ( if you travel to the west coast or to penninsulla)

Review 19:Owners very friendly Fresh homemade B-fast each morning Great location to start your counter clockwise ring of Kerry tour Cozy rooms Book exchange upstairs Grocery store 0.5 km away If you are looking for a hotel with a fitness center, hot tub, etc this place is not for you. Great for laying your head down after a long Ireland touring day.
Review 20:This property had very good Qi. It was both comfortable and quiet, situated on the edge of Killorglin, rather than in the noisy centre, on the Glenbeigh Road, so that it was easy to get to the beach. I had the benefits of being in the countryside, while at the same time the shops and petrol station were only a short walk away. Family owned and run, Marie and Leonard were perfect hosts and got me help when my car broke down. Needless to say, I am staying there again! Highly recommended.
Review 21:Dinners were advertised but no longer provided however the village was close Ensuite was average with insufficient bench space
Review 22:Very nice rooms Lovely hosts quiet location great breakfasts WIFI was excellent
Review 23:mostly everything was spot on, just one little thing i spotted over breakfast, the hostess was clearing an table. some cutlery was left seemly unused, these were removed from table, but placed on table holding ceral etc for re use. no way just cos it left sitting in place and clean looking can you be sure it is, cud been licked clean :) only small thing i seen, everything else great.
Review 24:within walking distance to town centre, hosts were very friendly and helpful. brekkie was great, served with a smile and chat. shower was excellent.
Review 25:Friendliness of the owners. Personal touch was felt from the moment you arrived to the moment you left. One can still find an Irish "A hundred thousand welcome" here.
Review 26:None except the closing time for Breakfast is 9:30am which is a bit too early.
Review 27:Excellent location close to town Nice hosts & Staff Rooms are big enough for families with kids
Review 28:The place is in serious need of an update. Very old and not kept up well. There are better options out there I'm sure.
Review 29:We stayed the weekend of a big cycling event, so Killarney was just about booked. We chose this B&B for the price.

Review 64:Nothing. Book with confidence.
Review 65:Friendly owners. Rooms are well maintained. Free parking & WiFi are as advertised. Tasty breakfast. Very happy with my overnight stay. Highly recommended.
Review 66:We were there for the arts festival. The morning we woke up, there was a water issue and we were unable to use the bathrooms. The toilet started leaking shortly after as the main water system collapsed and the pipes burst. This was unfortunate but we understood this could happen to anyone.....it was an inconvenience as we had to leave into town without a shower but these things can happen......we were just really shocked they charged us full price when we couldn't shower or clean up!
Review 67:Owners are kind and friendly. The wife is efficient but the husband is way too laid back ( bordering onto and slack). The guesthouse itself is a bit outdated but has the basics and kept clean.
Review 68:The only thing i didnt like were the curtens. They didnt make the room very dark. It would gave been ok for me but not for the children.
Review 69:Very friendly people good breakfast.
Review 70:An OK walk back from town after a night out. Car trip really needed to get to more diversity in neighboring villages.
Review 71:Welcoming and accommodating for uncertain (and late) arrival time. Clean, spacious room. Good shower and room amenities. Excellent breakfast. Good location for touring.
Review 72:The plainness of the guest house was uninviting. I would still stay there again, though.
Review 73:Very friendly, shared a lot of information about Ireland, wonderful breakfast, price, location, free and good wifi. free and parking
Review 74:Nothing whatsoever!
Review 75:You could not possibly wish for anything better. The hosts were welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and well-organised, with time for everyone. The property is ideally situated for the Ring of Kerry and very convenient for the Dingle Peninsula and the Killarney area. What's more Killorglin itself is a town of great character.
Review 76:Limited choice of non-cooked breakfast, would have been nice to have some pastries or bread rolls.
Review 77:Very welcoming owners. Relaxed atmosphere, could come and go as I pleased. Within easy walking distance from town centre. Comfortable, clean room and good breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Review 78:my family and i loved Westfield House and have recommended it to our friends, Marie & her husband were very friendly & welcoming, we had an excellent family room,
Review 79:The owners were very friendly. The family room was very large and spacious. They offered us an additional room since the weather was a bit warm! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is at the start of the Ring of Kerry.
Review 80:Nothing
Review 81:Beautiful house with very friendly people. Nice breakfast. Very obliging with storage of our bikes. Very good value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer. Extremely convenient if cycling the Ring of Kerry.
Review 82:The friendliness of Marie (the proprietor) and her husband, the high quality of the accommodation and the food, the spaciousness and design of the house, and the concen to see we had a good time. Outstandingly good.
Review 83:The hot water coming out of the bathroom tap in the morning was too "hot" (it got better in the evening). Also, the TV set in the room hang to high on the wall and a bit too far from any comfortable place to watch from; we stopped watching after a while (which wasn't bad at the end, as we got to read more!). Apart of these too minor things, we liked everything, especially the owners!
Review 84:The hospitality of the hosts! We felt very welcomed and as if "being at home". Also the nature sounds waking up in the morning and the beautiful mountain view from our room window! The location of the B&B is very convenient and quiet. The size of the room was really great. We had a triple room with a double bed & a single bed and still had lots of space to move. The shower was very powerful (not always the case in B&Bs in Ireland) and spacious, too! The WiFi connection was very reliable and fast everywhere in the House, inkl. our room (very important to my husband, who had to work in between). We'll definitely visit Westfield House again in the future!
Review 85:I spent one night in Westfield House with my two grown up sons and oneof their girlfriends.
