Review 1：Shower did not work, Fridge did not work, we never got fresh towels, the wall at the door was broken, breakfast :no bread or no butter...even when we asked for it... extremly lousy breakfast, we were on time...it still was poor!!! The boss - an arrogant young woman - never looked at anybody....

Review 5：The staff speaks English and French abd is ready to help! The room was big with a very big bathroom and a balcony. The area is quiet. The breakfast was included in the price.

Review 6：The staff offered me a gluten-free cracker when I inquired. I had just arrived from a long trip, was hungry, and their bar was not open. A staff member went behind the bar and gave me a few gluten-free cookies out of the box. The next day, I noticed a charge for $2.50 on my bill! In addition, they had also recommended a pizza place that required a cab. Unfortunately, they did not inform me that the cab cost $20 round trip, which was more than my meal.

Review 7：It turned out that Hodel Moderno do not have double beds. A double bed is made up from two singles, which is not very comfortable. And the mattress and pillows were not extremely comfortable as well. The first day cleaning staff entered our room 3 times (first time even without knocking!) and seemed to be really bothered to wait until ~11am for us to leave the room. The other days we left earlier, so we did not have the same problem anymore. Breakfast buffet could have more choice of food.

Review 10：The hotel staff is very helpful and very nice, the hotel is quite moders, very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Nice and cosy place to stay.

Review 11：Breakfast was extremely bad, no vegetables of any kind, no eggs - only the basic stuff like cornflakes, croissants, yogurt, marmalade, one ham, one salami and one cheese.

Review 13：Only 'bad' experience was trying to find it drivingfrom the airport. The maps available failed to show a 'new' road. I recommend taking a taxi, and if you are there for a only a few days- catch the excellent bus service. Don't drive particularly if you are used to driving on the left.

Review 15：Hotel is at quiet place with a perfect restaurant just around a corner (got a recommendation from receptionist, cannot remember the name). Beds are comfortable and the breakfast is good for the price paid. We didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised in the end..

Review 16：They tried to charge me my original booking rate which was 5 euros more. I had cancelled and rebooked at the discounted rate. So when I queried this they eventually apologised and charged me the correct rate. They showed me my bookings so they knew so it was a bit of a cheap shot.

Review 18：big minus: no warm/hot water at 5:30am!! We told the lady at the reception, she was shocked but we think that this was not the first time it happened because of her bahaviour; brittle salutation at arriving, no shower curtain (water after showering everywhere in the bathroom), no stairs/desk on the balcony (view is not nice anyway), the minibar/refrigerator was not enabled (could be annoying when hot weather), cold atmosphere in the room, breakfast could be too simple for some ppl but for us it was enough.

Review 19：it was very clean, many towels, big bed (180x200; not typical for Italy), good breakfast (warm different croissants, ham, cheese, panini, joghurts, good coffee, tea etc.), underground carpark, enough restaurants, pasticerrias etc near the hotel - very good value for money!

Review 22：The flush in the bathroom was rather weak. One thing I did not like about breakfast was having to ASK for milk! Coffee and cereal were already provided, so it's necessary to have milk, no...?! And also no bowls provided for the cereal - you had to ask. Also re: breakfast there was some inconsistency...on the second morning there were no rolls or eggs (but maybe that was because I was earlier than the morning before...) However, in general, breakfast was very very good. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for travellers to Olbia.

Review 23：The location is good - on the main street - Aldo Moro - a 15-minute walk to the port. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating. The facilities were excellent - a very comfortable room and bed with a balcony, TV and wifi. Breakfast was very substantial...coffee/tea, juice, cereal, yoghurt, bread rolls, cheese, meat, boiled eggs, croissants (a choice) and some delicious cakes. All in all, this hotel was GREAT value for money...

Review 24：WiFi is not opened, so you need to ask for your usename and password. You need to fill in those credentials everytime you connect to the WiFi.

Review 31：Good quality Aircon which had Eco/Silent mode for night use. Simple but adequate breakfast. Quiet location. Slept well in comfortable bed.

Review 32：As soon as we entered the room, it smelt of sewers. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she blamed the weather and seemed disinterested. We also had cold showers in the evening and morning. When we told the receptionist she was grumpy and unconcerned. The two receptionists we dealt with were both grumpy and neither apologised. It was a terrible end to our holiday.

Review 34：Nice little hotel, located about 15 min walking to the center of Olbia. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is good.

Review 35：There was only 1 restaurant within walking distance. To get to the beach I had to catch the no 4 bus which was a fair walk and the no 1 bus which passed close by didn't tie in with the times of the no 4 bus. The television didn't have good signal and there was no radio. Being alone I missed these two things. There were no plugs in the bidet or sink which was slightly irritating.

Review 36：The two owners and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and when something ran out it was replenished very quickly. It is situated off the main road and therefore not noisy. There was a supermarket close by which meant I could try local food.

Review 107：Get a room with a balcony if you can - mine led onto a communal terrace, so I could not open my doors to get air and had a bad night's sleep. Irritating electrics need the room key plugged into the wall so you go out thinking your phone is being charged only to find it hasn't! Ask for your passport on checkout - they forgot to give me mine back (though I suppose I should have remembered to ask for it!).

Review 109：Too soft mattresses, especially for extra beds in room for 3-4 persons.There was no balcony as it was written in description..We had to ask how to get to the second floor to our room. Only then the massive impenetrable doors were opened to the stairs and lift.

Review 115：We are very upset with the attitude lady is the owner, as it was recommended that the starting morning disturbed at the table asked us to pay for child 9 years 20 euro and at our insistence issued invoice. I had an offer on the following accommodation booking, we arrived at the hotel where we got 3 rooms dirty, I just walk back and mentioning that I have a 9 year old who sleeps in bed with us and asking for the fee. There is no question I got answer from receptionerei.Surpriza morning first owner even scolded me attitude leaves much to be desired!
