Reviews for Hotel Palazzo D'Erchia
Review 1:parking two blocks away and towing in the luggage
Review 2:the spacious rooms and awesome breakfast. the Hostess was so nice, we asked her to dinner with us, and she came! New friends
Review 3:Breakfast was rather simple on the morning that we were there.
Review 4:Conversano is well worth a visit with much to see and very few visitors. We had no difficulty in parking close to the hotel in Via Neviera, which was free and people were very helpful in directing us to the nearby hotel. The staff in the hotel were very helpful.
Review 5:Kindness and helpfulness of the staff far beyond the call of duty.
Review 6:nothing
Review 7:One of the most charming places we've stayed in Puglia. The service is friendly but still professional and the building is beautiful.
Review 8:some noise from building works nearby
Review 9:friendly staff; location; character of hotel.
Review 10:very small streets difficult to arrive there and we pay for parking but there was not. The owner drove us 4 km outside to park the car
Review 11:old "palazzo"
Review 12:The breakfast is a bit simple for people don't eat sweet at breakfast to choose.
Review 13:The stuff is very friendly and helpful, location is close to the train station and it's a small city easy to access to everywhere; the room is big, facility is good
Review 14:gorgeous example of a traditional Italian Palazzo. Friendly, helpful owner who takes a pride in running a clean and relaxed hotel. Conversano is a stunning town with beautiful architecture and fabulous restaurants. Very romantic!
Review 15:A beautiful and charming old building, well restored - we had a frescoon our ceiling and a balcony looking down a wonderful old street in laidback Conversano. The breakfast was excellent (rare in Italy) and ourhostess went out of her way to look after us - even driving to find uswhen we left some glasses on her desk!
Review 16:Bedding exceptionally hard with no comfort - equivalent to sleeping on a floor. No additional chair or area to sit other than the hard bed, so not a relaxing place to be.
Review 17:Good location. Pleasant host. Clean.
Review 18:The street is too small for a big car , but is not the fault of the hotel.
Review 19:The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location in the middle of the village is very convenient.
Review 20:Worst breakfast we had on our 8 day trip through Italy: prewrapped food, very limited choice. Altough we asked for a quiet room when we made the reservation, we got a room on the street side and hardly slept because of the loud and continuous streetnoise. Horrible night because of cars, motors, singing and screaming people all night long... Bad bed and pillows. If you don't wake up by the street noise, it's by the squeezing of the bed ... Never again ...
Review 21:Very authentic building, nicely decorated, located at 5 min walking distance from historic center. Clean room and bathroom.
Review 22:When people stop to chat in the street outside and you have the window open you can hear them extremely well but this adds to the atmosphere!
Review 23:Palazzo d'Erchia gave us the feeling of living in an elegant medieval palace. The rooms are tastefully furnished, solid and uncluttered. The particular room we had was princely in size and feel with beautiful decorative floor tiling and a magnificent vaulted ceiling. Great attention was given to textures and details. The architecture was fascinating. Apollonia, the owner and manager was discrete but able to provide fascinating insights into the place, the town of Conversano and life in Italy in general. She was also able to recommend an excellent, inexpensine vegetarian restaurant that was a ten minute walk away.
Review 24:Very helpful and friendly
