Review 1：The rooms were very comfortable and clean, bathrooms were a good size too and the staff were lovely especially Maureen and Ken they were very nice and good to us!
Review 2：I really can't fault this place in any way, it was brilliant! The hotel could not be any more central, it's on the main street and a few minutes walk to everything in this beautiful city. The staff were welcoming, hilarious, and very helpful in recommending bars to go to, and I was really surprised by how nice and modern my room was. It looks like the hotel has been recently renovated, my room was clean and modern, and the bathroom was as good as any that you'll find in a hotel. I'll be going back to Kilkenny soon if only to spend a proper night in the Metropole bar, which was full of characters to put it mildly! Excellent hotel, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Review 10：The property was "under renovation" which was noted clearly across the premises. The room was extremely small with only 2 single beds & a half finished vanity area - no mirror or chair ( wasn't room for one) The "wardrobe" consisted of a single rail. The bathroom was the size of a small ensuite, no toilet brush or bin in it let alone hotel shampoo or bodywash!!!! The Wales are like paper & you can clearly hear other guests talking in the rooms beside you.We had to pay a €10 deposit for the key to the room which was a keycard. When we returned it the following morning, the lady at the reception tried to convince us that we only paid €5 as we had only one key!!! It only cost €70 per night but it would have been better spent in a hostel!!!!!!

Review 20：Some bedside lamps for reading would be nice. One barman challenged me bringing a bottle of beer to my room (from another pub) saying they had a policy of no food or drink in the rooms (if there is i missed it when booking). He asked "will you be clean...i have your details on file" which was offensive. I've never experienced that kind of treatment.
Review 21：The location was good. Most of the staff were nice. Enya in particular offered to iron a shirt when all I wanted was to borrow an iron. She also went down to reception to get my room card fixed when it wouldn't work. Another two girls were extremely helpful wrt directions and advice etc.
