Review 1：The only negative was that our refrigerator had not been cleaned before our arrival and apparently had not been used for awhile. It was attended to promptly.

Review 2：We stayed here 3 nights after arriving from the US. The location was very good for visiting Cortona and taking a cooking lesson at Il Falconiere. It was close to several of the good wine towns as well. Also close to grocery store for provisions.

Review 3：Wasn't able to use an iron/laundry but this is quite common in European hotels.

Review 4：The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast is provided with fruit, yogurts, cheese, ham and a variety pastries.

Review 5：Apartments like the one we rented do not have cleaning service - and for the price charged, this would be expected. The shower stall is terribly small for the size of the bathroom

Review 8：This is a fine collection of Tuscan farm buildings, converted skillfully and tastefully into an hotel of character. The staff are professional and friendly. This was our second visit and it won't be our last.

Review 10：very nice location with wonderful staff. very charming and flexible. dinner was lovely. one night we were the only people dining there and they made a special plate for us. they know about wine and food and are all very nice. close enough to Cortona to walk - if you are healthy and fitness oriented.

Review 11：Musty smell in room Old pair of socks left in the top drawer dresser. Mirror in bathroom all smeared. Dead flies on the bedroom floor. Fair with loud music right next door until very late at night. Bedroom furnishings poor and cheap -bubble wrap on top of the bedside table under the tablecloth??? Did not feel at all clean. Do not get pulled in by the photos on the website, they have done a fantastic job of making the hotel look far superior than it actually is.

Review 12：Leaving the hotel. We booked and paid for 3 nights but decided to leave 2 nights early as the hotel was so disappointing. Having arrived from a similar priced hotel in the Tuscany region which we enjoyed thoroughly at the same price per night the contrast was outstanding. This hotel did not feel clean and was situated next door to a loud fairground. It was so bad we took the financial hit, paid for the 3 nights and left after one booking a far better alternative at the same price. Life is too short to stay in a bad hotel.

Review 19：Evening meals are fairly expensive and not that suitable for young children. The pool was too cold for us to use as we travelled in late May which is when they first open the pool so would probably be perfectly fine later on in the year but pool heating could sort this out for earlier travellers to enjoy the full experience.

Review 20：The location was superb and certainly didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we had a small issue with the boiler but they came to fix within 5 mins and we're so apologetic for the inconvenience. The food is excellent, the breakfast was beautiful and included freshly baked cake straight from the oven. The self catering apartment we had was very clean and had everything we needed to cater easily for ourselves. Overall I would certainly rate this hotel highly.

Review 21：The building is old and specifically the bathroom was very cold - heaters were not turned on. The food was really not exciting and the venue is quite a way out of town.

Review 23：Where do you start on a review for Relais Borgo San Pietro? Superb!!! This grand, but welcoming hotel is beyond wonderful. Set in 7 hectares of grounds with olive and fig trees, its a 10 minute drive into the heart of beautiful Cortona. The room was total, luxury, with a king-size bed, and mini bar. Everything oozed Italian charm and style. Breakfast was a buffet of meats, cheeses, omelettes, breads and loads more, eaten in the garden, we even got fresh, ripe figs from the garden. Waiters took your orders for coffee and nothing was too much trouble. The pool is clean and has sunbeds around for catching the Italian sun. The staff were great and made us feel so special. We wish we could have stayed longer A total recomendation from us, regards, Erwin and Julie

Review 24：The only two small criticisms regard the gym that was a little bit sloppy and the areas of the garden farer from the hotel that could be better maintained. Both things could be improved with a very small effort.

Review 25：We stayed in this hotel for seven nights and we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is located few kilometres from Cortona surrounded by a peaceful countryside. The hotel is beautiful with a big garden, a nice swimming pool and a functional gym. The staff was professional and extremely kind. The room was very large with a big bathroom and a fantastic shower. We really enjoyed everything.

Review 26：Accommodation never cleaned while we were there; kitchen very basic in terms of equipment (althoug had what we needed); mattress on bed too thin and reasonably uncomfortable; shower ok but small.

Review 36：It was dificult to locate. There is an english sign on the main road, however an additional information about the distance on the secondary road would assist. It appears that the inn is located near the corner, which it isnt.

The service at breakfast was slow and we had to ask for silverware three times before we finally took it from another table. The restaurant food was well below average for Italy so I'd advise finding a restaurant in a nearby town instead.

Review 40：We loved the rustic nature of the accommodations. The room was very rustic yet very comfortable. The setting was a very quiet, country side environment, but still a good hike from the town of Cortona. The continental breakfast was excellent, and included meats, cheese and fruit, as well as pasteries. Fresh juice and freshly picked figs were also part of the choices.

Review 41：Signage to get there is limited (which is to be expected as it's rural at base of hill) so they could simply on web site post more maps and address that's conducive to gps. If he only thing bad I could say is it's hard to find, then yo can tell we will certainly stay there again!

Fortunately, mosquitoes not found in room.Photocopies of CORTONA maps - unclear. Hotel located off main road, it was hard to find. GPS co-ordinates would be helpful.

Lunch was also poor, with very few options, of which some were notavailable. The bar was not adequately stocked with soft drinks, and thehotel did not have a sufficient number of ice buckets to cater for thenumber of guests at lunch time.
