Reviews for Premier Inn Dublin Airport
Review 1:As we have given a score of ten there was nothing that we didn't like as all the staff were very polite and very friendly. Nothing was an effort for anyone, faultless
Review 2:Just made our weekend, Hotel well situated for travelling anywhere. Only took ten mins to walk to my nieces home. Got express right outside hotel to Dublin city centre again only took about ten minutes. Lovely breakfast.
Review 3:We arrived at about 1 am after late flight to Dublin (which I informed hotel of in advance) and desperately needed sleep which was impossible as we were put in a room directly beside a key carded door near the elevator. We were constantly woken up every 15-20 minutes starting around 3:30 am by loud travellers up for early flights out. It would have been nice to be placed at end of the hall but i still don't think it would have made any difference as the walls were way too thin we still would have heard everything. One of the worst sleeps ever in a hotel.
Review 4:Good sized room, clean, comfortable beds.
Review 5:I didn't like that we couldn't order room service as we arrived late and were very hungry and the selection in the vending machine wasn't enough.
Review 6:The room was spacious and the beds were soo comfortable.
Review 7:...the staff in F&B were 'non-plus', not really smiling, didn't look like they enjoyed serving guests, no cheerfulness. I had soup on 3 evenings as I wasn't feeling too well, small bowls which was half filled. 2nd night of soup didn't come with dough sticks, just plain square bread, no explanation given or apology....
Review 8:FO staff were helpful and gave a warm cheery greeting.....the room was a great size, warm and comfortable.
Review 9:Jusst don't use their restaurant for dinner, useless. This is an aera with many restaurants around, so it is easy to go somewhere else.
Review 10:Very close to the airport, while price inflated but not so much. Efficient reception, room is comfy and clean, all OK.
Review 11:Very close to airport for overnight stay Comfortable, clean and staff happy to accommodate my wish to be sat in a quiet area of restaurant as I was dining alone and wished to read.
Review 12:Food in evening was a bit hit and miss. Chicken Korma was watery but dessert was great. Woken both nights by revellers walking homes 3am, despite being high up.
Review 13:Good comfortable beds
Review 14:It was very noisy - we were on the ground floor and could hear lots of traffic, loud voices etc
Review 15:The front off house staff were excellent. The proximity to the airport & the beds were exceptional.
Review 16:Great hotel at the airport. Shuttle was great, breakfast was great. Room was clean and comfortable. We were flying out in the morning so the shuttle was a great touch. We had dinner there, was good.
Review 17:Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Good evening meal and breakfast. Staying again next month on return journey from holiday. Very convenient for airport with good shuttle bus from airport to and from hotel.
Review 18:The shower was the worse we have had. The water temperature and pressure constantly varied from a hot dribble to a cold blast, changing and sputtering several times per minute, plus there was no hair dryer in our room. We were unable to retrieve an item we had left behind 3 days prior because the lost and found key goes home with the cleaning staff after they finish for the day. Why is that?
Review 19:Room was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
Review 20:Sadly it only takes one or two negatives to spoil a holiday. We reported on the morning of the 10th October '15 that our bedroom window would not close, which meant we were subjected to the noise outside (car alarms, service entrance activity, airport). It only closed as far as the "ventilation" setting, but wouldn't lock down fully. In our son's room the handle went all the way down to fully shut the window; ours wouldn't. Sadly, this fault was not fixed during the 3 nights we stayed. Secondly, the bed was supplied only with a thick duvet, which was too hot to sleep under, but because it was too cold to sleep with no blanket it meant we had to continually fold the duvet back, then up again etc etc. These two issues meant we were unable to sleep for the 3 nights we stayed and spoiled our first visit to Ireland. We were in room 401. The Guiness was awful - tasting like an an ashtray had been emptied in to it (local pubs served a nice pint of Guiness, so not sure what Premier Inn did to make it so awful). The meals were ok, but the garlic mushrooms were cooked in their breadcrumbs to a rock hard crispiness.
Review 21:Generally we were happy with our stay and the hotel. There are many positives that we appreciated. The breakfast was good and had a good variety of options. The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The restaurant was reasonable and fairly priced (the Guiness was foul, however, in comparison to local pubs - not sure what was being done to it to make it son unpleasant, tasted like someone had emptied an ash tray in it). However, the meals were ok. Overall, the hotel was good, the facilities good and the staff very friendly.
Review 22:Bar is small and tables were not cleaned after use by others.
Review 23:Hotel is relatively close to the airport and check in was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good value with a decent selection of food.
Review 24:Sorry.....I dont like to say anything bad about this fantastic hotel. The pillows are too soft
Review 25:The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Convenient shuttle service to the airport. Comfortable spacious rooms. The hotel and facilities within are spotless and it is obvious hygeine is one of the main priorities among the high standards.
Review 26:Airport shuttle didn't run in the morning so we had to take a cab. Shuttle driver from the airport did not help us with our bags and we had to pay 1 Euro per person.
Review 27:Staff was very friendly and restaurant was good
Review 28:Dublin airport premier inn is a very comfortable, clean hotel and ideal for a stay ay the beginning and end of a driving holiday. The room was spacious and contained an iron and ironing board which were much appreciated. We had a nice dinner on both occasions in their dining room. The staff were very helpful with driving directions and check-in was prompt. We would certainly recommend this hotel..
Review 29:Not enough car parking space for loading/unloading at front of hotel.
Review 30:Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for transit passengers from Dublin airport.
Review 31:Nothing.
Review 32:On arrival I realised I had booked two separate times in error. The receptionist arranged for us to have the same room for the two nights, rather than have to move rooms!
Review 33:We found the bed duvet a bit too heavy, but a selection of pillow softness was a really nice touch.
Review 34:The front reception staff were excellent and helped with parking reservations to park car in hotel facilities while on our trip. They gave good info on how to take bus into city centre.
Review 35:they had no business computer available and they made me pay up front which didn't allow me to use my remaining cash when I checked out
Review 36:The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the shuttle was very convenient and inexpensive
Review 37:Breakfast was no where near the standard that the premier Inn is usually. It was cold and not enjoyable. The evening meal was very good but the service was not good at all.
Review 38:Rooms were very good and clean. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean.
Review 39:Nothing
Review 40:Ideal for overnight stay near airport.Spotless room, very comfortable, very modern. Good transport link to airport. Bar and meal prices reasonable, friendly professional staff
Review 41:The light on the desk didn't work regularly, and overall, the room was somewhat dim except for the bedside spotlights.
Review 42:The beds were the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The rooms were the right size and shower had the perfect water temperature.
Review 43:Why pay for shuttle bus as a customer when car hire company have free shuttle and also it is same price for general public using other locations.
Review 44:Handiness for Dublin Airport
Review 45:Only 5 minutes from airport so no traffic worries. On checking out I mentioned some noisy neighbours interrupting my sleep and without even requesting it my room charge was refunded immediately. Very impressed.
Review 46:Great room and bed, quiet, close to airport, clean. In short, a great option close to the airport and at a fair price. Wake up call and restaurant on site for d inner.
Review 47:Our Neighbours were a Family with three kids. Although the hotel garantees a calm night, this family made so much noise, it was very loud even after 10 pm. We were glad that we stayed there only 1 Night.
Review 48:Took the shuttle to the hotel. It was raining and a little difficult to find the pick-up point. Took a cab back to the airport because the shuttle was a little far to walk shlepping heavy bags.
Review 49:Hotel is quiet, secure, and close to the airport.
Review 50:Size of room, bathroom facility in room, beds, and everything is just very nice. We had also stayed at the Crowne Plaza but like Premier much, much more.
Review 51:Served our purpose had no time to evaluate any other facilities satisfay
Review 52:Was only there for airport access so did not spend a lot of time for that purpose it was goog
Review 53:Far away from city centre although busses run al the time.
Review 54:its close to the airport and have its own shuttle. Some restaurants closely. Large rooms. Good for families.
Review 55:Having to pay for the airport shuttle. Would rather the room rate be increased.
Review 56:Nice room. Comfortable bed. Roomy. Good value. Convenient to Dublin airport.
Review 57:Pillows are to soft! I have arthritis in my neck and need a firmer pillow for support!! I have stayed in hotels where I was able to get firmer ones but this was not an option at the premier!
Review 58:That I thought I had a sleep park and fly deal as I saw on web sites. When I arrived was told that was only available on Premier Inn's own web site , so as last minuteI I had to arrange alternative parking - very stressful.
Review 59:Easy to find and luxerious bathroom. Pleasant reception area.
Review 60:Music was a little too loud in the breakfast room. But was turned lower when we told staff to do so.
Review 61:Breakfast buffet excellent, lots of fresh food. Cooked breakfast outstanding, though the looks of the food will tell you something different. Showers very clean! Internet superfast.
Review 62:An error oversight of stayover car parking facilities at Inn causing early rise to find alternative.
Review 63:Really friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed and dining facilities good value.
Review 64:The free WiFi is very slow, seems to be limited at 0.5mb, if you want to have a decent speed you've to pay £5 a day. Bedrooms has UHT milk, for the price I'd expected fresh milk.
Review 65:The beds are amazing, so comfortable. The room size is great too, really spacious and everything is so clean. The staff are very friendly also. Overall a great experience, we would definitely stay here again.
Review 66:We like everything about premier inn and will always stay in the hotels no mater where we are traveling to. Its top quality accommodation for budget prices
Review 67:Great staff. Quiet at night so slept very well. Spotlessly clean. Excellent quick regular bus sevice to the airport. Driver even assisted us to take suitcases off the luggage rack!
Review 68:At checking in, there was a problem as someone had already checked another customer in previously under my name and didn't check details. It took us about 30 mins to check in and get a room sorted. Receptionist didn't apologise and was rude.
Review 69:Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Air con + heating,
Review 70:Spacious room and shower room. Very comfy bed. Loved being able to walk into Swords and finding a new Weatherspoons. Bus to and from the airport was great. All made for a stress free start to our holiday in Italy.
Review 71:Very comfortable hotel in a perfect location for Dublin Airport which is just a 5 minute drive away. The rooms are well laid out and all the facilities were as they should. Top hotel for the money.
Review 72:It was a little far for us with 3 cases, being over 65,to get from the plane to the shuttle bus so when we returned next day took a taxi but less baggage it would have been great or ten years younger :-)
Review 73:Everything was great, did not have any grumbles or moans, used as a one nighter before USA trip next day
Review 74:Amazing. Really enjoyed the stay. Staff was always ready to help and I think they had much more than what they are expected to do. I would highly recommend.
Review 75:Noise coming from room above us, sounding like kids running or jumping. When I contacted staff it was dealt with quickly and effectively.
Review 76:Friendly staff, comfort and proximity to airport. Also easy parking.
Review 77:When we dined at the hotel restaurant we couldn't book the meal to our room - we had to pay for it at the restaurant.
Review 78:Close to Dublin airport. The room was very comfortable, very clean and quiet.
Review 79:Wifi was not consistent but ok. So tired to use it anyway!
Review 80:Location was excellent. Shuttle bus was £1each and very easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Linen and towels excellent. Had a very good nights sleep . Breakfast was wonderful and good value. Really re on end as a transit hotel although would actually stay there and take shuttle into Dublin as it was very reasonable cost and so comfortable.
Review 81:Address is misleading, and hotel was hard to find. Address is shown as Airside, Dublin Airport. Airside is the name of a shopping precinct in Swords - a 10 minute drive from the airport.
Review 82:Good hotel as is normally the case with Premier Inns
Review 83:The noise coming from the people leaving the nightclub on Saturday night between 2.30am and 4.30 am Sunday morning, hanging around the car park opposite the hotel, even with the window closed I could still hear all the shouting
Review 84:No value for money. Room with such price and not in a city centre has only soap in the shower. No fridge, small TV. Basic room, expected more.
Review 85:LIked the location as it was convenient for me. Comfortable bed.
Review 86:The staff didn't know about timetables or bus-lines to travel to the city centre. Noisy at nights, our room was next to the corridor door and it made lots of noise every time someone entered or left.
Review 87:Near the airport.
Review 88:Stayed for one night before early morning flight with my wife and our two girls, found the hotel to be excellent, great value for money, had a gorgeous meal/staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy on the night we stayed and there was a great buzz about it. Would gladly recommend this hotel for a visit.
Review 89:The internet in the room was slow and had a hard time connecting to sites. You can upgrade to faster internet, but for the length of our stay it wasn't needed
Review 90:The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable Very close to the airport for that early morning flight and they have a shuttle to the airport although we didn't use it. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. There is also shopping right across the street and a few restaurants and bars close by. If your looking for a late night meal go to the Old Borough on Main Street. They serve food until 11pm and is only a few miles from the hotel.
Review 91:I didn't like the way it said best nights sleep garenteed when I bearly got any sleep because of noise of people walking up and down the corridor and had to leave early the next morning :(
Review 92:I loved the shower the way it had a seat in it was soo amazing! I loved how kind the staff were.
Review 93:The free WiFi requires you to register with their service/proxy. Was not as reliable nor easy going through the proxy.
Review 94:Very big room. Quite - even had signs with posted quite zones. Doors did not slam. Close to the airport (12 euro for 4 people, 10 min.) - or use their shuttle for 1 euro). About a 30 min. bus ride to downtown Dublin - 3.30 Euro.
Review 95:The price!!!!! As it was the night of Ed Sheeran concert however we recognise that other hotels were much more expensive. Still would not pay that price on a normal night!
Review 96:Overall was what we needed just to put our heads down for the night. Staff very helpful on arrival and welcoming. Female staff member from restaurant was not so friendly however.
Review 97:Advertised "free shuttle" to / from airport - there was a bus that cost a euro per person. Was given a room with one bed after we called the hotel in the morning before our arrival and confirmed we were arriving as 4 people, with our 2 kids. No coffee in the morning available - free or for purchase.
Review 98:Convenience, cleanliness and comfort of bed were all above expectation at this price point.
Review 99:Handy location for air travellers needing rest after long flights. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities in room and hotel generally. Food available at convenient times. Regular airport shuttle bus at reasonable fare.
Review 100:Found the bus driver rude on the shuttle bus. He requested euro per person annoyed when we didnt have exact change. Is this service no longer complimentary?
Review 101:The bed were super comfortable would have had a great sleep except for my husbands snoring
Review 102:the fact that we were only staying one night!!!!!!
Review 103:the room was very clean and the bed was excellently comfy!!! All the staff were courteous and friendly. Food was also very good and reasonably priced.
Review 104:A lot of noise durin the nite.
Review 105:Staff at reception very good. I had said there was a lot of noise during the nite and we didn't sleep that well and Cynthia give us a full refund without any question. Cudnt believe it.
Review 106:Had to upgrade the Wi-Fi to the premier option which didn't always work in the room.
Review 107:Location is perfect and with the shuttle (only 1 Euro each!) it made our layover in Dublin very accessible. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect value for money. Big rooms!
Review 108:hotel was excellent.great location and close to town.staff were so friendly and helpful at all times.breakfast was really good and 3 evening meals we had in the hotel were lovely and good value.overall a super short break at premier inn, airside, swords.
Review 109:Shuttle bus at airport was a bit tricky to find
Review 110:Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Shuttle bus to airport was great, 5 mins to airport. Room was quiet despite lots of families in hotel. Breakfast was lovely. I will definetly return if I need an overnight at the airport.
Review 111:We had to wait on check-in. At 23:00 there was a long queue.
Review 112:Location was next to the airport which was good since we had to catch an ealy flight. For a short night stay it was excellant.
Review 113:Food wasn't great and bit pricey for basic menu
Review 114:We weren't impressed with the food...The kids pizza came out it was just ciabatta.food and wine were bit expensive, having said that we only paid €69 for a family room only basis
Review 115:One desk electrical plug wasn't working; Desk lamp wasn't working; That's about it...rest of the experience was excellent.
Review 116:Clean, quiet, well appointed.
Review 117:WiFi login page too sophisticated, we didn't get in.
Review 118:Spacious family room, nice clean bathroom, helpful staff, very good value for money, airport shuttle bus.
Review 119:Staff were excellent!! The shuttle bus was well run, very convenient. Beds and facilities were fantastic. I would stay here again. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Review 120:Bed a little too hard for our comfort
Review 121:Outstanding Reception Desk staff members so helpful, and service with a smile! Also perfect location with easy access to Dublin and AP
Review 122:Nothing. Was perfect
Review 123:We were in dublin for the ed sheeran concert. Shuttle bus to and from airport for 1 euro which runs every half hour ish depending on time of day. You can get a Bus into dublin just around the corner which cost about 4 euro. Rooms, staff amazing. Hotel is in an industrial estate which has plenty of shops and a club which the taxi driver we got said is the best in dublin. However I cannot validate this as we didn't go. Macdonalds, subway, cafes casino all on same site to.
Review 124:breakfast not included in room rent
Review 125:spiffy modern hotel 5 minutes from airport [shuttle costs 1Euro/person!].nice sized rooms, decent cafe. reasonable rates if yyou book ahead
Review 126:Only one towel for a family of 4. Didn't notice till we got up at 5am for a flight. Couldn't get a hold of someone to bring towels, tore the room apart thinking that maybe they were squirrelled away somewhere else. No luck. Made do and left for the flight. Breakfast is not served until 7am so anyone with a early morning flight is hooped.
Review 127:Clean and close to the airport.
Review 128:Booked through book . Com quoted €100 for 1 adult and three children , when got here and payed it was €129 ??? . ? Poor communication . Otherwise very happy
Review 129:Enjoyed it , kids stay free and eat free
