Review 5：I loved the spaciousness of the accommodations and the location near enough to Cortona to walk to town, but away from the crowds. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, with hints on sights to see and places to eat.
Review 6：We visited when the temperature was above 30°C, meaning that the steep walk up to the city's wall meant real sweating! Some GPS do not include the via Contesse
Review 7：Polite and helpful staff. Fairly fluent in english and french. The walled garden and terraces are a large and perfectly quiet expanse where one can read, enjoy the extensive view, relax. Being outside the old city on the hill-flank overlooking the Valdocina flats.
Review 8：Very good location with lovely grounds. A swimming pool would have been the icing on the cake. All staff were friendly an although there is no air con in the rooms the staff managed to locate a fan. Good selection at breakfast and very good coffee.
Review 9：This was a beautiful monastery hotel, set in stunning grounds and with wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside. We could have spent hours in the garden without even leaving the hotel - the hammocks overlooking the view over Tuscany were my particular favourite. It's a ten-minute walk into Cortona, making the location very good. We would have liked to have stayed longer!
Review 10：As we stayed at the hotel before we knew that the food would beexcellent and that the interior of the room would be sparse but adequat.It is fantastic value for money but not a hotel for people who want lotsof comfort and company. Is is more of a retreat and for people who wanta good rest.
Review 11：Not fancy, but very clean and accomodating. Very nice breakfast as well.Location below town of Cortona requires an uphill walk to town, butwalking is much easier than finding a parking spot in town.
Review 12：The views were so beautiful that we spent much time looking out thewindows of our room or overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside fromthe gardens. Gardens were exquisitely manicured and lying in the loungechairs, surrounded by such beauty, was a dream come true.
