Review 1：The location of the bar in the foyer by the front door and didn't tell us that the bar was closing they just closed the shutter.They also said smoking rooms available but there isn't?.

Review 3：Nothing-Would stay again for one night-maybe not suitable for a family staying for a few nights as limited facilities but perfect for an overnight stay.

Review 7：While the hotel itself is in a good position, access to it is not very clear. It is necessary to drive through a commercial park in order to get to the entrance. It would be good to have signage for the turning into the park and also at Woodies, and so eliminate any initial confusion - especially when arriving on a dark, wet evening!.

Review 8：Very friendly & helpful staff. We were delighted with the rooms; being on the ground floor with lots of space made our stay very pleasant indeed. This is a friendly, comfortable & efficiently run hotel and is a good base located on the Ring Road and so avoids the city traffic. Kilkenny city is only a short drive away.

Review 9：Very stormy night. Staff could not close a window in the bedroom got little or no sleep.next morning don't ask me how but the chef couldn't boil an egg.when we went to check out they had already deducted my credit card. Very sneaky I would have thought

A drink of 7up spilled on our carpet and we had to payou 50 euro for it to everyone cleaned which should have not been the case as it was accidental and all hotels have insurance for this. The lady was so rude on the phone and I would not stay in this hotel again.

Review 18：Staff very friendly. We arrived Friday evening for a wedding. We asked the man at reception could we order a taxi once we had changed. When we arrived back down taxi was already waiting for us. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Self service so there was no waiting around to be served ☺

Review 21：ARRIVED ON FRIDAY 20TH FOR A WEDDING IN KILKENNY IT WAS A COLD WET DAY, BUT ONCE WE OPENED THE DOOR TO RECEPTION WHAT A WONDERFUL WARM WELCOME WE GOT.THE STAFF WERE SO FRIENDLY HAPPY CHATTY MADE US FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS SO DELIGHTFULL. SHE ARRANGED A TAXI FOR US TO WEDDING. HAD BREAKFAST THE FOLLOWING MORNING IT WAS THE NICEST BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER EATEN IN A HOTEL AND HAVE STAYED IN A LOT. WILL GO BACK AND WOULD DEFFINATELY RECCOMEND

Review 24：Lovely bedroom but the double bed was very uncomfortable because it was two beds put together made into one. Why could the hotel not have proper double beds? Didnt sleep to well. Also the bathroom vent wasing working at all.

Review 25：There was nothing that was unpleasant during our stay. The only thing I would say is that if you are wanting to spend a night out in town it is probably a bit far to walk, but this didn't bother us, we weren't planning to do this anyway.

Ye some people may say it's not perfect for location but I've never minded a 2 minute cab anywhere if it means im out the way of busy streets so a lovely peaceful sleep can be had and not a single prolem in the hotel, plus kfc a 30 second walk away if in need of hangover food! Review 48：OMG The Noise of the Pipes and/or Boiler outside the Window and then at 4.30 am ,inside the Room. The noise continued until after 8 am when I decided it was enough and I was forced to get up and leave. I had planned on a check-out time of 12 noon as I had been travelling for days and this was a day off... no such luck I advised MANAGEMENT ON DEPARTURE. I loved the Location as Not wanting to Socialise in town so expected a Quiet Location and a restful night...it was the complete opposite and I can only assume it was a Problem outside the Control of the Hotel on this occassion.

Bed a good size despite it being two singles linked (and very obvious)--would have preferred a King Size bed or larger and prepared to pay the Premium. Great that my room was so close to reception. Not Sure I like the Bad Open Plan layout of Reception/Bar/Restaurant as it did not flow and Breakfast was good but a little confusing in getting all food to ones table ..... Review 50：It was expensive for a very basic hotel. Was in Kilkenny for funeral so had to book last minutes and nothing else available. Bar is in reception area and small.

Review 61：I stayed here for a night out in Kilkenny recently. We slept until 11.30am so we missed breakfast but before 12pm and check out time we got a knock on the door to remind us of the check out time. At 12pm we got a call explaining the same thing and at 12.10pm when we were about to leave we got another knock on the door. There were plenty of other rooms to be cleaned on the same floor before ours so I just thought it was the height of rudeness. They obviously wanted us to leave as soon as possible. It was overly priced so when you're paying that kind of money you'd at least expect a bit of respect.

Review 62：The room was dirty. We stayed in room 215, the curtains were filthy, they had cigarette burns in them. We tried to use the iron and it was covered in some sort of white plastic, if we hadn't noticed it would have ruined our clothes. There was a spring sticking out the end of the bed that almost cut my fiancé's foot. Shower was terrible. We are not a fussy couple and have stayed in plenty budget hotels but this really was not good.

It was great to get a mug in the tea making facilities in the room instead of a small cup. The rooms were nice a cool and not too hot. The hotel was full the following morning and The buffet breakfast was kept filled and topped up, with plenty of freshly cooked food. It was an excellent breakfast and spread.

Our room was right over the main entrance and we had our window open all night but nothing disturbed us. The staff are very friendly and breakfast is lovely, hot and efficient. Review 123：The staff was wonderful. We had several issues with our rental car and were completely exhausted when we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to help us contact our rental agency, help up order in food, and gave us contact info for a local tire place. While some may consider this normal "Irish hospitality" it was amazing to us. Room was simple, but nice. We loved the deep tub to take baths after being jet lagged.
