Reviews for Apopsis Zoy's Guesthouse
Review 1:Not within walking distance of Galixidi. Dogs barking early disturbed sleep.
Review 2:Zoe is friendly and helpful. The place is great. View is wonderful. Breakfast is great. Galixidi is an attractive town with one great restaurant.
Review 3:zoe is like your mother away from home, she went out of her way to help, very thoughtful.rooms are beautiful, homey , quiet, even though it's a little out of town, they were always available to shuttle you around, enjoy your stay, i know I did!
Review 4:Very clean and a spacious room, lovely view from balcony, family run business happy to help and chat. Very quaint with each room having its own theme. Is a little off the beaten track definitely need a motor vehicle.
Review 5:The guesthouse is actually a house, therefore do not expect many common areas. Breakfast is simple and in line with greek's standards.
Review 6:Our room was beautiful, spacious, nicely furnished and with a stunning view. Bathroom also very spacious. Everything was very clean. Staff was nice and smiley. The owner could speak perfect english.
Review 7:The Guesthouse is a few miles outside of Galaxadi, which necessitates driving into the town. But the site is very lovely and we enjoyed our time there very much.
Review 8:Zoy was a wonderful host and her guesthouse is lovely: beautiful grounds and gardens, and a stunning view of the Corinthian Gulf, Galaxadi and up to Delphi. A fantastic breakfast as well!
Review 9:We had an amazing stay at Apopsis Zoy's Guesthouse! Zoy and her husband Mick are amazing hosts, genuinely friendly and caring people. Some of the highlights: the breakfast is really great, complete and fresh, the rooms are lovely decorated and the view is just simply amazing! The location is ideal, Galaxidi is a sweet little town with great restaurants and Delphi and the Ousios Loucas monastery are very close. So do not hesitate to spend time with Zoy and Mick, you will have a great time!
Review 10:Absolutely nothing.
Review 11:This is a wonderful place to stay as the hosts are really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are excellent too. The room we had was Safari and it was decorated in the theme which was quirky and very restful. The bed was the best we stayed in during our four weeks in Greece. The view from the house is beautiful and the beaches locally are wonderful for swimming. There are lovely cafés and tavernas in Galaxidi and the port is very pretty, almost Venetian/Croatian in appearance. Overall we stayed three nights and could have happily stayed a week or two.
Review 12:Very expensive. Poor breakfast without any service. Cold coffee, juice straight from carton. Tired, mismatched old bedroom furniture. Window in 'superior' room opaque because of condensation.
Review 13:The dogs. The view.
Review 14:the wonderful view from the superior room in two directions and the charming designed rooms. it´s a very good alternative to a hotel and you feel absolutely at home there
Review 15:The warmth and friendliness of the owners. Beautiful view from the bedroom. After we checked out, owners realised we had left important documents behind and spent some time trying to locate us, for which we are truly grateful.
Review 16:The place had the most beautify view! Really amazing! If in add the garden you have the perfect place! Ζοy was an excellent host! Homemade breakfast made by her, great knowledge of places to visit in the area and an awesome person to talk to! Overall a great relaxing 4 days!
Review 17:the view is out of this world. The landlady is helpful, pleasant, speaks perfect English. Good breakfast. All in all - a great place to be.to find the place, feed the coordinates into your GPS (if you are using one), or call them by phone, and they'll come to pick you up from Galxidy. There's no address that your GPS will understand.
Review 18:Having to leave :(
Review 19:A very special place with the most beautiful views! Niko and Zoy are lovely people and have created something unique and special. This was our second time staying and we will continue to come year after year. Highly recommended.
Review 20:The views. The room was at the front overlooking the sea and mountains in the distance. The couple running the guesthouse were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was homemade, plentiful and delicious. All in all couldn't recommend it more highly
Review 21:A really delightful place to stay with a unique outside decoration which fits like a glove to the scenery of the area. Comfy rooms with a private balcony to enjoy the fantastic view of the Galaxidi bay. Each room has its own personality due to the collection of decorations and art from around the world which were carefully selected and placed with “meraki” by Zoe & Nikos. The breakfast table had all kind of goodies and a really good coffee. From the time of “hello” to “goodbye” you have the feeling that you have returned “home”.
Review 22:There are many dogs in the area, due to it is a rural area, and dogs were barking all the night, so it was annoying.
Review 23:Breakfast was very good, with many hand-made products. We had booked a standard room, but they gave us a superior room, bigger and with a very nice sea view, because it was free that day.
Review 24:This is Paradise! What else? A bicycle to enjoy dinner by Marizza, oneof the famous Galaxidi Harbour fish restaurants
Review 25:Although native French, I write the comment in English for betterunderstanding from other users .We booked the room without doubts: theview and comments were convincing. The location is perfect: 2 kms awayfrom Galaxidi, round 200 Meters above the sea level: always fresh breezeavailable You are by the word in a "Guest house": you enterthe home of very friendly people with a great knowledge of what is goingon worldwide (the owner is fluent in English, having lived in usabefore) The local house environment is very green, with 4 friendlydogs,a cats tribe-as usual in Greece-, proof of sensitive people. Thebedrooms could be your own room, well decorated . Everything is there:airco, mosquito nets, repellant to resist a mosquito Blitzkrieg, wifi(not tested in our case), fridge...By the way, if you are a fan of emptywhite rooms in lonely resorts hotels, just pass away: here, you areenjoying time amongst human beings... The breakfast is a realexperience: almost anything you could imagine is there! Thanks again foryour hospitality !!
Review 26:just a little far to walk into Galixidi
Review 27:very comfortable, great décor and surroundings (we were in Safari). extremely friendly and helpful hosts. super breakfast.
Review 28:Nothing! Everything was perfect!
Review 29:Zoi was warm and friendly, speaks perfect English. The Bed was very comfortable, with a premium American mattress instead of the usual cheap, hard box springs that pass for mattresses in most Greek hotels. Breakfast was great! The the room was beautifully decorated, with a fantastic balcony and view of the sea. The grounds are beautiful, with a style that is both casual and elegant. The place is peaceful and quiet. It is the best place I have stayed in Greece in many years of travel there. There were three friendly, healthy dogs and some sweet, well fed kittens.
Review 30:Zoe was extremely welcoming and helpful and her guest house perfectly located in a calm area with wonderful view.
Review 31:Everything outstanding. Zoy is the perfect host.
Review 32:Superb location, excellent accommodation, warm and welcoming hosts, can't recommend it highly enough.
Review 33:we loved the decoration and the sea view. great vibes. great people.
Review 34:Nice location overlooking the sea and the village of Galaxidi. Zoy is the perfect host, catering for all your needs.
Review 35:The hosts are charming and welcoming, will adapt to your needs.

Review 40:Access to beach
Review 41:Hospitality by Zoy and Nick
Review 42:the environment of this guesthouse is wonderful! owner is really friendly to us.
Review 43:Very quiet. Excellent breakfast
Review 44:Nothing
Review 45:Everything
Review 46:The homy atmosphere the perfect location and the perfect service
Review 47:You definately need a car to get to the town centre from the guesthouse, but it only takes minutes. Plus, you can visit nearby areas, for food or coffee, within 10 minutes from there. Ask Mr Nikos!
Review 48:After our request for a romantic room because it was our anniversary, we were given a room warmly and beautifully decorated with an amazing view of the sea and the mountains! The mattress was realy comfortable! Outside the rooms there were magazines and board games we could borrow to spend our time creatively. The garden is huge, pretty and romantic with fine antique decorative touches! We hanged out there at nights after our walks in Galaxidi and we had a relaxing time with the company of Mr Nikos, Mrs Zoy and their lovely dogs and cats! The breakfast area is lovely and cozy with the soundtracks of Frank Sinatra music!!!!!!. The breakfast itself included home-made jams, pies, sweets and a variety of spreads! The cheesepie was delicious! Even if we were late for it they waited for us!
Review 49:It was a last minute booking, and we were glad we decided to go. A 5 minute drive out of town but the views from the room and quiet location was just right.
Review 50:We liked everything.
Review 51:Everything was done nicely, our room was decorated very nicely. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was good, water was hot. Parking is in the grounds. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of home cooked things to choose from. The olive paste was delicious! Both Zoe and her husband were very friendly and it helped that Zoe speaks perfect English.
Review 52:As I said to the owners themselves, it is an art to be able to makepeople feel as comfortable as in their own home! This guest house offerscozy and restful accommodation at a reasonable price, at an excellentlocation with breathtaking views of Galaxidi bay. Most importantly, bothZoe and Nicos receive guests as friends rather than guests, provide tipsfor sightseeing and directions and offer a homey breakfast with homemadeproducts! Thank you for such a pleasant stay!
Review 54:the dogs and cats are kept out of all locations inside; no problems there.
Review 55:Amazing views, good homemade food, easy excess to historical sites/towns and nearby beautiful mountains as well as the sea. Perfect location; for short day trips but worth it just to meet the generous and kind hosts Zoy and Nik - who speak perfect English!
Review 56:We liked pretty much everything. The view from our room was magnificent! We could see the ocean from our bed! The owners were very welcoming and kind! Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Especially the cheese bread. The room was also decorated with exquisite taste. As were the rest of the hotel areas. It's very close to a boutique hotel. All in all an excellent stay.Would most definitely stay here again!
Review 57:It very hard to find the guesthouse, coordintants in booking.com wereinaccurate, and were finding guesthouse aproximately an one hour
Review 58:Zoya is very friendly, she recommended us a nice place to eat inGalaxidy The guesthouse is very stylish, our room was in"mexican" style. The are also was good hair dryer in the room, which is a rarity in Greece
Review 59:Zoy and Niko are very friendly, welcoming and hospitable hosts. Their house is really beatiful, decorated with love and care. From our room was magnificent view to a bay. In this house you feel like a friend rather than a visitor. The breakfest was delicious and home-made jams were just wonderful. It is the place you want return to. They have parking and if you travel by car you can easely get to Delphi archeological site and museum. Water in the bay is really calm. Thanks them a lot
Review 60:A great number of sheep-goat dogs in the surroundings barking all the time until late night. This inn also has numerous (dozens?) cats lying around on the lawn which smells strong (but no smell in the room). In-room shower wall broken covered by a curtain, our sink was seriously clogged. This inn is located far from Galaxidi, not walking distance from either the village or even the shore. We had a hard time to find even after asking directions in Galaxidi, despite Garmin GPS and Google Map. Get clear driving directions at the time of booking. Innkeepers claim not allowed to post signs on national roads, they should post geographic coordinates on their website.
Review 61:Nice size room with a good-size balcony overlooking the Corynth Golf, north-west of Galaxidi. Good location to visit Delphy and Itea. Friendly and helpful innkeepers, generous of their time. Good breakfast. An overall good stay.
Review 62:Too many cats and dogs around. Breakfast should be improved, if comparedto other similar places we stayed in in Greece.
Review 63:This B&B is not in Galaxidi, but in a village nearby (about 2kms), so it's reachable only by car. The room was ok and theview was nice.
Review 64:wifi in the room does not function, the number of cats and dogs around the house has to be considered in case of sensitive persons.
Review 65:We liked the nice view, the balcony and windows , the generous, kind and pleasant hosts Zoy and Nik , who made our short stay so interesting and let us feel like staying with good old friends.
Review 66:Very friendly and nice owners. The Rooms are decorated with taste and originality. Breakfast is genuinely homemade. Galaxidi is a lively and nice little town
Review 67:The guesthouse was a little further from Galaxadi than we anticipated which made walking there and back a bit of hike.
Review 68:A wonderful place, beautiful views and lovely hosts. The Mexican themed rooms are fantastic and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommend if staying in Galaxidi.
Review 69:I was not 100% clear that the hotel was not actually in Galaxidi when Ibooked, but we were still very happy.
Review 70:This is a really nice little bed and breakfast just outside the charmingtown of Galaxidhion (where we had the best seafood in Greece!). When Iforgot to ask for my passport back when we checked out the staff droveit through to Athens for me (we were flying out the next day) which isservice above and beyond! I cannot thank them enough.
Review 71:The ideal location to stay, for visiting Galaxidi, Itea & surroundings. The owners Nikos & Zoe were really nice people, very friendly and very willing to assist in everyway.
Review 72:Zoy was incredible in making sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond in every aspect of our stay. We were so pleased with our room, complete with our own balcony with an ocean view from above on two sides of our room. It was a joy to be able to relax there for a couple of days in the middle of our two-week trip. Keep doing what you are doing, Zoy!
Review 73:Our room was full of so called "antiques", therefore notletting us much placeBathroom really very small
Review 74:Location, breakfast, quietness
Review 75:Serious problem with the drainage of the shower, as by the time youfinished your shower the water was up to your ankles.
Review 76:Inspired themed decoration, different for each room. Feels like you area guest at a friend's house. Amazing views from our balcony. Lovelyhomemade choices for breakfast. Beautiful sitting corners at the gardenarea, the whole setting makes you relax and unwind!
Review 77:Location and decoration
Review 78:Too many personal things in rooms. Not much space for guests' belongings
Review 79:Good location, friendly owners
Review 80:Quiet location with beautiful views. Very comfortable room. Great homemade breakfast. Warm hospitality.
Review 81:A bit hard to find at night, did not have hotwater
Review 82:Great host, very helpful, charming place with lots of dogs and cats.
Review 83:Perfect location for silence and relaxation, very clean and well looked after. Pleasant and helpful owners, nice homemade breakfast.
