Review 2：It is just 2 of us and the Studio room is so big!! Worth every penny. Its really comfortable, the location is good. 30 minutes to Geysir and 30 minutes to Pingvellir National Park.
Review 3：The carpark was covered in snow and it was not ploughed when we got there so we had trouble getting in and out of the place. We also requested for a large double bed and were given two single ones

Review 7：When I was at the door of my room, I opened the key box with the'door code' that they gave me. The key box was opened, but therewas no key. I call them to check out, but they said "You may be thewrong place". But! I was not at wrong area. I was at my room.Building 3, room number 101. The fact that I could open the key box withthe door code means I was right. They said "I'll call you backfew seconds later", but they didn't call me back for 2 hours& even didn't get my phone. When I called to'Booking.com' for helping me, the counselor could easily calledto them. (Then why didn't they get my phone only?) After that, thecounselor said one of them was there to help me, but I found there wasbody and the key box was still as it was. They lied to me. And next,they said that they would be there few minutes later, but after waiting,I found that they were totally liars. They lied me again. I wasted myvaluable time for 2 hours, and I found another hotel at 7 pm, in atotally dark night.It was the worst memory about my Iceland travel. If you choose this apartment, PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE HELPFUL WITH YOUR PROBLEM WHEN THEY ARE ON A HOLIDAY. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A CALL BACK, AND THEY WILL NOT GET YOUR CALL. YOU MAY WAIT FOREVER IN THE FREEZING WEATHER WITHOUT ANY HELP, AND THEY WILL JUST LIE TO COVER THE SITUATION.
Review 8：Changed apartment 3 times before arrival. On arrival no staff and dirty apartment. Moved to a new apartment which was already occupied.

Review 11：Even didn't meet staff, everything were organised well from collect key at keybox with instruction. One of better accommodations from this trip for what you pay. We made a lovely dinner, and it was quiet and clean, what else can you ask for.

Review 13：Golden Circle accommodated us at very short notice quite late in the day when we had been let down by another establishment. As chance would have it this was my first choice but I'd been over-ruled by my partner who wanted to stay at the other place. I basked in a smug glow for the whole time we were there. The place is warm ,clean and efficient with all the facilities we needed. Highly recommended. Thanks for fitting us in.

Review 18：At first we got an apartment on the first floor right opposite an house. We called to see if we could switch to a room on the top floor. That wasn't any problem. Now we had a great view over the lake. Kitchen wasn't as clean as at home but good enough. Television had almost no reception, but the space of the apartment was great.
Review 19：The curtain in the shower - no way of securing it in place so it kept sticking to you while showering and moving around.
Review 20：Quite a large apartment. Large wet room instead of just a tiny shower. Nice and quiet location.
Review 21：The water cooker and toaster was broken. But after we leaved a note to them, they immediately changed new one for us. They changed our towel and threw garbage everyday.
Review 22：Standard residential area. We reserved for 3, but the Sofa bed was not prepared / no bedding was available. Had to call to get it fixed. House keeper was outright unfriendly and the Sofa bed was the most unfortable ever
Review 23：Although the Apartments (it is actually a few Apartments in a rather Standard residential area) are not in the most fantastic landscape of Iceland (there are much, much nicer Areas), it is Walking distance to the fantastic Laugarvatn Fontana pool (really recommendable) and the nice Lindin pool
Review 24：hard to check-in and contact, no check-in reception/staff you have to call to no. in booking detail owner will tell you where is the key. I try to contact them before be there via email but no respond. staff that take care place is drunk and not prepared our room before we went there , she also cant roll the sofa-bed to bed she take an hour for that, the sofa-bed also not stable. location is OK but not really good about 20min from Geysir, no supermarket around there. window in bedroom is leaked, cold air leak in our room all night.

Review 26：- No staff at location. We had no problem with this, as received access code for room prior to visit, but is nice to have a local desk person to advise about local surroundings & activities. - Apt had full kitchen but was missing some baking pans for use in oven. Both minor inconvenience.

Review 28：It was only comfortable for two persons, because there were only two beds. The sofa bed that was supposed to be a bed for an additional two individuals was not at all suitable for sleeping. When we called to the office because only two sets of bed linen were present a very grumpy man dumped the linen and took off again. Eventually we booked a room for two at the hostel accross the street, because none of us would sleep on the sofa bed.

Review 30：The apartment we add needed a little bit of tlc. For example a new shower curtain and some repair to the bathroom wall were the water from the shower leaks, but nothing major or disturbing.

Review 34：Room not setup for 3 when arrived. I had to incur extra cost to make an international call to the booking centre to get pillows and bedding as there is no onsite office. In addition, the staff just passed me the beddings and asked me to make my own bed. All this could be avoided if the staff prepared the room before our arrival. They should have information prior to our arrival. We had to wait for quite a while before the staff came with the extra pillows and beddings. I find the rooms and toilets not very clean. Also there is no signal for the TV so the TV in the living room is practically a white elephant. When we asked the staff about it, he blames in on the remote and had no reasonable explanation. We had another room for 2 and the size is the same for room for 4.
Review 35：It is in a nice location. I met the staff occasionally, and they are very friendly. The view is very nice. The room is quite big. We also luckily saw the northern light! A wonderful trip.
Review 36：The heaters didn't work properly, the apartment was very cold. We checked in very late and we thought the heaters would eventually warm up but they didn't, by the time we figured out there was a problem it was too late to get help.

Review 39：Handy place to stay! Very efficient check-in and check-out, location is great if you want to finish off a Golden Circle day trip and not drive back to Reykjavik! The place is amazing and really close to the Laugatvatn lake and spa!

Review 56：The television didn't work. The stand-up shower did not have sides so water got all over the place - no mop to clean it up either. The view was terrible, onto the flat in front of us. Also, we were not told (and I think in a place where you have one supermarket for MILES) that the store closes at 6PM and only reopens at 10AM. We were traveling with a baby and this was a problem. It would have been nice to have been told things like this as we were in other places.

Cheap and nasty kitchen furniture and electrical appliances - toaster didn't work and no reception or channels available on the TV. Review 71：The Swimming pool was brilliant value for money, rather than using the spa. Apartment was basic and reasonably clean. Beds were comfortable. It was only made up for two people not three but a telephone call to the managers and this was sorted out within the our by friendly local staff.

So did the sofas in the living room. Wifi did not work very well in my apartment. In the 2nd apartment we had it was working well.

Also the apartments are in 3 blocks and the apartment numbers are the same for each block so you could be punching in the key code in the wrong block...which is what we did! Phone contact with the admin department was difficult.

Review 105：The confirmation email said to call to see if we could check in early. Called and called and no one answered. When we arrived I saw someone taking towels to a room and asked about early check in and he curtly told me NO. When we arrived and did the self check in, there was no bedding for the couch. I reserved for 3 people. I tried calling and again no answer. The confirmation said to go to one of the apartments for help. I did and after ringing the bell several times, the same grumpy guy answered the door and was obviously mad that I had disturbed him, until he realized it was his own fault, then he was pretty nice about it. Don't expect a warm fuzzy friendly greeting at this place.
