Masseria Torricella descritpion
The agriturismo Masseria Torricella is located in the heart of the Itria Valley, surrounded by the lush Alberobello countryside, with its dense woods and a number of famous Trulli.
The establishment is the ideal place to spend a vacation in complete relaxation, enjoying its massage room, swimming pool, cuisine based on organic products, bike service and guided tours in the woods where all the animals of the Masseria thrive in appropriate refuges.
When headed home, besides the memory of a marvelous stay, bring back tasty samples of the Apulian cuisine: extra virgin olive oil (D.O.P.), local wines (Fiano, Primitivo, Cabernet), cheeses (Apulian Canestrato D.O.P.), delicious jams and seasonal fruit, all produced at Masseria Torricella.

Reviews for Masseria Torricella
Review 1:really liked the peace and quiet! Lovely surroundings, great food and perfect peace and quiet. Enjoyed Leo's antics and appreciated the staff's care
Review 2:It is nicely situated and the pool is super. The room was huge, but felt a bit like a hallway (tiles on the floor etc.) - not very comfortable, but I guess typically for this region.
Review 3:Would have liked a bar or somewhere to have after dinner drinks or coffee.
Review 4:Beautiful surroundings in elevated rural location but near to Puglian tourist sites. Excellent pool and sun lounging area. Organic seasonal food produced on farm served in open air restaurant.
Review 5:The stuff was great, Cosimo and Giuseppe were very kind and helpful. The sorroundings are great, The Silva Gym was a nice surprise for an early trail running, the food was tatsy and organic, very reasonably priced
Review 6:The food in the evenings was a little disappointing and did not live up to the general standard
Review 7:We were given a very nice room with a large balcony where we could enjoy an aperitif before dinner. The pool was very well designed and suitable for young children. The family who own the Masseria were most pleasant and helpful.
Review 8:Warm welcome, great service. Delicious & fresh/home-made food. Large rooms and very clean. Perfect service at the swimming pool (you can order food and drinks during the day). Beautiful location and ideal starting point to visit Puglia.
Review 9:We loved everything about our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic and gave us the perfect relaxing overnight that we had been looking for. We brought our two small dogs and for a very minimal cleaning fee they were able to stay with us as well. We adored our stay there and cannot wait to return!
Review 10:We had to leave our friendly, nice dog in the room for breakfast and dinner.
Review 11:The location for excursions is great. Our room with large balcony was wonderful. All four nights of our stay we had dinner in the restaurant: nice meal, reasonable price, very friendly service.
Review 12:Cant think of a negative.
Review 13:Location was great, in the country but close to Alberobello. This Facility is amazing, most if not all the food was sourced on site and was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Nice walking/hiking paths on site made for great afternoon hikes. It was a bit cool during our stay but the pool looked amazing, and was a fun beach style entry. WiFi worked well all the time, no matter our location. Everyone was eager to please and make our stay there VERY pleasurable. GRAZIE MILLE!!
Review 14:Internet was so slow that you couldn't really use it.
Review 15:Beautiful view of the countryside, nice pool, beautiful spacious room. Format for dinner is very nice and good value for money; the actual food was just ok one night, very good the next. Very nice nature walks in the agriturismo's property.
Review 16:Beautiful place and farm setting. Delicious food and spacious clean rooms. Very close to the center of Alberobello. The staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. The owner, Giuseppe, took us to an educational tour of his farm, dairy operation and vineyard. The only regret was not staying longer.
Review 17:No fridge in the room.
Review 18:Beautiful property with pool, farm animals and forest for walking. Good breakfast. Good location for Alberobello and nearby towns.
Review 19:Nothing. Great place. Go there!

Review 33:What a beautiful place. All home grown food and wine. Pool in countryside surroundings. Very relaxing. You do need a car.
Review 34:wonderfull staff interesting food calm and inspiring
Review 35:Its a bit larger of a property than I prefer but still wonderful.
Review 36:Lovely setting in a lovely region. The food is delicious and rural setting so peaceful. Many wonderful places to walk on the property.
Review 37:The location was a bit difficult for me to find.
Review 38:The location, while a bit off the beaten path, once there it isfantastic. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and all the foodprepared is grown on their property. That includes the olive oil, olives, wine, eggs (from their chickens), vegetables. One night they hada price fixed dinner of 20 euros which included an abundance of food, along with a saxophone player from 8 pm on. I ate dinner here each nightand each night the food was excellent, prepared well and there was anassortment of local cuisine. The staff was very friendly, helpful andaccomodating. I would absolutely recommend it. It is a great value.
Review 39:The food and dinner service. They claim that the food comes form theirown farm, in which case they need to sack the chef. They run dinner forthe benefit of the kitchen and not the clients. If you are first downfor dinner you can wait over 40 minutes for your antipasto.
Review 40:The place itself. It was simply all you would wish for.
Review 41:If you are looking for a romantic hotel and some quite reading time at the pool, maybe Torricella is not the place for you: during the Summer holiday it is dominated by families with children. The bathroom of room nr 4 smells and desperately needs some fixing up. Breakfast is good, but there is hardly any variation. Some fresh fruit (salad) would be nice, too. Also, there is no towel service at the pool.
Review 42:Quiet, central location, great pool, excellent dinner (fixed menu), friendly staff, large room.
Review 43:very nice pool, nice clean and big rooms with excellent airco, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and great evening meals. Great value for money. Would come again!
Review 44:Location was in overlooking countryside only 6 Klm from alberobello fresh food grown on property was served in authentic Italian style staff only to happy to help I will be staying again
Review 45:We liked everything! The farm and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The owners and staff are super - very friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit everyday. The ability to order drinks and food poolside was great. The Masseria's wine was also very nice, particularly the Primitivo. The Masseria is also close to various tourist attractions - the trulli capital of Alberobello, SafariZoo (highly recommended!) and the Grotte di Castellana. We had a lovely, relaxing stay.
Review 46:No phone in the room. No refrigerator. Gates are closed in the night soif you arriving late from airport it is a problem.
Review 47:The area surrounding the hotel. Hospitality of the people workingthere. Nature.
Review 48:lights in room were insufficient
Review 49:as mentioned above
Review 50:A/c didn't work well and room was a bit cold
Review 51:Fantastic setting in the middle of the countryside. Lovely buildings very well restored.
Review 52:the missing information about the environment and the restrict menu for dinner
Review 53:the breakfast
Review 54:None
