Reviews for Trullidea

Review 1:I find it overpriced although the description is spotless, but there are things like not even one TV in the trullo, and honestly specially this time of the year it is not good value for money, too barebones

Review 2:Staff were very kind, the trullo is very clean and comfortable

Review 3:Parking was a bit of a pain but available a short walk away for about 6 euros per day.

Review 4:Self contained Trullo - which could be used for self catering (but we didn't).

Review 5:The GPS took us to the wrong place, so it took a bit to find the reception (tried to call 2 times, with no one answering and then the third time the person attending was a bit rude. I have to say that once we get there she was kind and gentle). The breakfast is basic, and even if they say there is wifi on the common areas, those areas are closed evening and night, and there is no wifi at the trulli and poor 3G reception.

Review 6:The location is very good in the middle of the Trulli area. And the Trulli itself is very nice and cosy. there is also a well equiped kitchen and once a week there is a market, with very fresh and cheap food! :)

Review 7:The bed was somewhat smallish.

Review 8:Located right in the center, so access with car is limited, which was nota problem, because there is a public parking within 2 minute walk. The rooms are well kept. The staff is fantastic: advised re which spots to visit and otherwise very pleasant and well informed.

Review 9:There was only wifi available in reception. Not a problem for us but just good to know in case it's necessa for future guests.

Review 10:Perfect location. Perfect location to explore from. We only stayed overnight but our trullo was well equipped for a longer stay. Would definite recommend and stay again. Fun Times!!!

Review 11:There was only enough hot water for one person. With 3 women and a baby it was tricky dividing up shower times. We requested 3-4 beds. When we arrived there was a queen, and a fold out couch. When I told the girl at the front desk, she shrugged her shoulders. I asked for a crib for the baby when we arrived. They didn't have one available the first night, but they did the second night. The "crib" they brought had a huge hole in the side where the baby could easily get through. Luckily, they didn't charge us for it.

Review 12:The town of Alberobello is beautiful. The truilli house was quaint. The breakfast was in a beautiful room, and the food was decent.

Review 13:Our trullo was very cold, the heating wasn't switched on and neither was the water heater, luckily we realised and called reception for guidance on how to switch the water heater on.

Review 14:Such a wonderful experience! The girl who checked us in and showed us to our trullo was fantastic, so friendly. Our unit was in fact two trulli, one for the bed and the other the living space which consisted of a table and chairs, armchair, fireplace, sink with a two ring burner. Shower room was fine, the shower being a walk in shower which was fab. Alberobello is a gorgeous little town but to be honest a day or two is more than enough to see the place. Lots of souvenir shops, a couple of wine bars and a great restaurant, La Cantina on the opposite hill, made our stay great.

Review 15:Didn't realise we would be so far out of town. Not worth going in for breakfast as you pay for parking and on our second day there was very little breakfast left.

Review 16:Very large Trulli, set in an olive grove. Traditional furniture. Well heated and secure.

Review 17:I like the simple pleasures of staying in a Trulli and feels a part of the heritage . Excellent location with everything just at your doorsteps . Very enriching experience . As I have expected after 30 years wait to finally be in Alberobello . A must visit for everyone who loves Italy .

Review 18:Loved staying in a Trulli house! The location was perfect, easy to explore the historic centre plus close to shopping. The receptionist was very helpful and patient.

Review 19:Bed was small for a couple. Lack of electrical goods in the room, no working fan, hair dryer or iron. Noisy outside the room as on ground floor straight onto street. Unfriendly staff, would expect them to take you to the room not send you out with a poorly printed map. Breakfast was dull and staff ignored us or were no existent. When I told the receptionist about things mussing or mot working in the room she did not care.... Unfriendly.

Review 20:The position in the centre of the Trulli UNESCO area.

Review 21:- At noon, house was not tidied yet. Maid came while we were having lunch and we had to give up the cleaning of the room. - car transfer to the station was not free. We paid 5.00 € for the service.

Review 22:Interiors, central position, typical breakfast.

Review 23:Having to leave

Review 24:How easy it was to book, check in, and access the town from our spot - lovely setting - comfortable, well designed, intimate space.

Review 36:Lack of Wi-Fi access in the individual units.

Review 37:This location is the best of all we stayed in Italy. The experience ofstaying in a renovated Trullo is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Inparticular, the manager Toni provided outstanding service. Without herinput our review woould not have been as positive.

Review 38:The rooms had a musty smell. Sofà very uncomfortable. Space heater caused the circuit to break several times. No hairdryer.

Review 39:Loved staying in a trulli. Bedroom was very comfortable. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast in nearby restaurant was fine.

Review 40:Very friendly and helpfull staff. Fabulous location in the heart of Alberobello. We loved the atmosphere and possibility to sleep inside a real trullo.

Review 41:small bathroom, really tiny shower cabine!

Review 42:typical trullo well-adapted into a small fkat with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom... in the middle of the historical area protected by UNESCO! possibility to rent bikes to have a look in the countryside. Breakfast available either inside the trullo (with supplement), or in a cosy terrace of a restaurant located at 2minutes by walking.

Review 43:The experience of staying in a truly Trulli house was really enjoyable. The house was complete with even laundry. The hotel amenities was wonderful. The kitchen was the cutest, living, bedroom, everything was adorable.Love it!

Review 44:Hot water for shower lasted approx 10 mins. Internet access only in office and office not open 24 hours so not good for connecting with people in another time zone.
