Review 1：Not bad, but I felt the majority of staff were not welcoming
Review 2：The location was excellent, just park the car and walk everywhere. Amber on the front desk was excellent, friendly and obliging, other staff memeber not so.
Review 3：The apartments were modern but the cleanliness standards were not up to scratch. The sliding door in our room had a mouldy handle, there were several black patches on ceilings in lounge, bedroom and bathroom, bugs in the light fittings. All in all I would say standards had probably fallen during the busy holiday season.

Review 31：I was extremely impressed and surprised by the cost/value/location of this hotel. It was clean and looked just like the photos on their website. The beach is across the road and there are heaps of eateries half a block away. The two girls in the office were really helpful despite being so busy and were able to arrange a later check out for me. I would have stayed an extra night if they had had any rooms available.
Review 32：Room booked was unavailable the first night. Was given a studio which was way too tight for port-o-cot and only $50 reduction which we thought was no where near the compensation. Worse was the fact they waited to tell us at check in and the studio didnt even have a plug for the spa bath. Worst start to a holiday ever!

Review 34：We were less than impressed that we paid $AU390 for what was described as a 'motel type room', as Genius Booking.com customers for a 2 night stay, only to arrive at the resort to see a big sign out the front offering $129 per night! Our motel type room was on the tired side and the sheets on the bed had what looked like dried blood stains.

Review 37：Coolum is the best. Beach across the road, 2min walk to shops, takeaways and restaurants. 5min from highway, no traffic congestion and only 1 set of traffic lights. There were 2 patrolled areas for swimming when we were there, so no over crowded swimming. Close to Noosa too. Retreat has 2 spas, heated pool, big bathroom in studio room, 2 single beds pushed together hmmmm. Good sized TV. Tea/coffee/milk/kettle provided. Lots of undercover parking and some offstreet. Free boogie-boards and beach stuff too fantastic. I checked out another room with full kitchen & dining, loungeroom 1 bedroom - very very nice too.

Review 50：The Retreat is obviously in need of a money injection as it is showing signs of age in the room we had. The shower and bath are in need of a super clean. Other guests children were in need of some supervision and were noisy beyond reasonable.

Clock on wall didn't work and it was impossible to tilt open the kitchen window blind so could not open that window - cleaners should have seen/reported these things! The apartment was abominably musty smelling when we arrived and was finally smelling a bit better when we left 4 days later. It had definitely not been aired ready for us.

Had to drive around roads outside late at night and walk back to find a car park not really good value for money . Not happy !!!! Unit also abit tired for the money we paid
Review 79：The staff need a lesson in customer interaction. They insisted on having me pay $50 on the spot cash payment for what they call a "lock out" fee. They already had my credit card so I told them that once they get confirmation of any such lock out they can debit my card. Even though I still had 3 days left of my stay the staff and manager insisted I hand over $50 cash immediately. To top it off the staff member could not give me a receipt for my $50. Such dodgy practices. They made me feel like I was somehow going to do a runner on them or some sort of criminal who's credit card was no good or something like that. I have asked them to forward proof of lock out from security company that a fee was charged, and to date this has not been provided.

Review 85：I requested 3 things for our 30th wedding anniversarry, explained wedon't get away on our own very often and wanted to make these 2 daysspecial. Those 3 things were 1) Highest level possible 2) Recentlyrenovated room 3) expecting a room that looked like the one on thewebsite pics. We were give a room on the 2nd floor right over the pool(no real privacy and lots of noise), in a room where the decor wonawards... In 1985!!! - and it looked nothing like the pics on thewebsite. Bed was absolutely awful, we used all the spare quilts just totry and make it slightly more comfortable, and we weren't greetedwith a smile and warm welcome... But a "ho hum, oh it's you...The one who had the audacity to ask for something nice on your 30thanniversarry!". I was very very dissapointed, our only 2 day tripaway for years and we wasted our time and money on this hotel!!! Iactually felt like they had purposely put us in one of their worst roomsjust because I had made specific requests!!! I have already told peoplenot to go here - spend your money somehwere where they will appreciateyour customage!!!

The receptionist handling it was not in a good mood at all, she was far from friendly. The room was not the cleanest- tons of dust behind the small couch in the bedroom and on windowsills.

Bit upset had no breaky deals.

Review 111：After parking and going up to our level in the elevator we had to walk down 2 half flights of stairs with heavy bags to get to our room. Our room was on first level and directly in front of the kids pool, there was another flight of stairs down to adults pool and games room etc. To be able to lock belongings in room and walk anywhere or go for a swim we had to go out through the back passage with even more stairs as you only get a key to the back entrance of room. Would be great if we got a key to the glass sliding door. The bed side tables were very dusty and we turned the fan on to circulate the air as the windows and doors didn't have screens to stop mozzies and there was heaps of dust again.

Also the late checkout fee varies from the sign in reception ($5/ hour) to the room guide ($15/2 hrs) to reality ($10/hour!!!)
Review 117：Great location, albeit a bit noisy from traffic in rooms closest to road, great pools on the premises and very clean bbq facilities, secure, covered car parking and kitchen/ bathroom was very generously sized in the one bed unit. Do stop en route at Eumundi markets and stock up on breads/ cheese and fruit for your stay, delicious!!

Young couple travelling, were laughed at when rang up to make an enquiry and shouted at when we arrived as they put the wrong price online. Absolutely horrific staff. As you can see from other reviews I have never had such an experience before.

Review 134：We booked this accomadation with sercure parking and had to park out on the street both nights as the gates of carpark are left open all day and there is no parking for the guests.Staff were told the second day at 5.30pm and said nothing they could do as they were fully booked and not enough parking spots. They also take your number plate when you book in so they could of checked all number plates to see if anyone was parked in the secure carpark that were not guests They should of just said tell someone who cares. I am taking this further as it says secure parking and I have my car in a garage at home so dont want to park on the street when I stay at accomadation with secure parking and will never stay there again and all my family and friends will look for somewhere else to stay with sercure parking too in future .Very dissapointed that the staff didn't want to help and if I wanted to park on the street I would not have booked accomadation with secure parking.

Review 136：The walls are really thin and could hear the neighbours even turn their light switch on. The beds were super uncomfortable in the apartment where the single beds were joined together. Also the pillows are really flat and uncomfortable.
Review 137：The location was excellent. In walking distance of the surf club which had great meals, dinner and breakfast. The two bedroom apartments were 2 adjoined units and worked well for us being 2 x couples. We could see the beach from the balcony which was lovely.
