Reviews for Hotel Lefas

Review 1:Unfortunately,there the room has not sound proof...you can even hear the whispers from the other room! But the most outrageous was that the room next to us,someone was smoking and all the smoke could gain access to our room!it was very annoying to smell cigarettes from the others! At the time of check-out,even if i wrote to pay by credit card, she told me if i could pay by cash since there is a tax 3% for credit card. But the problem was that she had already issue the invoice by paying it by cash and she couldn't change it! As i was waiting to take the change (3 euros) ,she told me that the exact change was 2,80 euros...completely unprofessional!

Review 2:Our destination was to Arachova, but we found excellent prices to Delphi!10 minutes by car to Arachova.Nice hotel with beautiful & clean rooms, great view.We paid 27 euros per night. Excellent staff, rich breakfast. Definitely, a great value-for-money hotel.

Review 3:Managed with their lack of English. Bathroom was the smallest but was okay due to no shower curtain & excellent water pressure.

Review 4:Best views in town of valley & Gulf of Corinth from stunning sitting balcony on lower road with shops. Log cabin feel in hotel rooms as wooded.Nice Euro type breakfast array. Yeh a shower door in Greece - even if small !

Review 5:My room was not really clean. The sheets had stains on them, and there was a lot of dust under the bed.

Review 6:The location was awesome. Close to nice restaurants and the historical site. The view of the room was also very nice.

Review 7:The view isn't just perfect....

Review 8:If you are staying in Delphi, you can just walk to all the sites and the museum. The location is perfect and when I was staying there (Dec, 2015) they were renovating all the broken furniture, so I guess it will be better for next seasons.... The view from your window is interrupted by other roof tops but it's just wonderful...

Review 9:Sound isolation of the room wasn't great.

Review 10:It is on one of the main streets of Delphi and in a short walking distance from the museum and the archaeological site. Our room had a view toward the Corinthian Gulf and surrounding mountains (had a balcony, too). It was specious and equipped with flat screen TV, hair dryer, and a fridge. As we stayed in a off-season, we paid only 30 Euro with breakfast for 2: really excellent value for money. I can recommend Lefas to budget travelers. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Review 11:Everyone was very nice and helpful. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The breakfast was very good and very generous. The hotel has also a restaurant/tavern where we had dinner twice. It is very good and for excellent prices. Overall, the ratio of quality to price is very high.

Review 12:My only complaint is an insufficient cleaning of the bathroom.

Review 13:Overall I had a good impression. Breakfast, considering the price, is unbeatable. The location is ideal for go walking to the archaeological sites. The street is lined with various shops. The deal was friendly.

Review 14:Not much really. The room's proximity to the lift was a little noisy at times.

Review 15:Great views, food, and staff. Definitely worth a night here, rather than a day trip!

Review 16:The staff member at the front desk constantly smoking so it drifted up the stairs. But this has been the case in a lot of places so I guess thats Greece for you.

Review 17:Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable with a great view.

Review 18:We were there on beginning of November, maybe because of low season when we came before 22:00 there was no warm water in shower. Also we noticed that there was nobody on reception, so keys were laying near the enterace to the hotel absolutely alone... But we were only one night there (I mean maybe it happens not often). Generally good impression despite these facts...

Review 19:Restaurant with the best view ever where we had breakfast. The breakfast was also good.

Review 20:Room was was very basic. Bathroom was stinking . Had to flush a few times every time you use the toilet.

Review 21:Staff were very nice. Waited for us till midnight till we arrived from Athens.

Review 22:Not much tot see in Delphi city off-season. Bars without beer, restaurants too big for the crowds they have.

Review 23:Lowest price in the entire Delphi. Balcony with a nice view on the Bay of Delphi.

Review 24:Bad sound insulation we heard everything happened in adjacent room. Also It was pretty cold in the middle of night.

Review 25:Beautiful vew from the balcony. Good WiFi signal

Review 26:The room is not very well soundproofed so if the guests in the other rooms are talking loudly it could be annoying.

Review 27:Beautiful view from the room, very good hotel, very low price, walking distance from the archeological sites. Excellent!

Review 28:Delphi in the beginning of september is so fascinating, not so much turism but a certain air of mistery and a breeze of misticism from the beautifuk montains all around. The hotel has a splendid view and is so warm because of the wood inside of the room. The staff is ok and the price is simply amazing for what you get. The breakfast is good as well with the same great view you have from your room! Don't miss this hotel if you're around Delphi

Review 29:The bathroom could use an upgrade (missing shower door). A new fridge that would be less noisy would be appreciated. We turned it off for the right to get sleep.

Review 30:We had a room for two with view of the valley and see. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The staff was kind and we could leave our baggage at the hotel after we booked out. Be sure to get up early for the breakfast to catch a table near window with lovely views.

Review 31:In our room was thin walls and we heard the neighbors

Review 32:Very good location - close to the archeological site. Nice room in wooden style. Delicious breakfast with nice view

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:Good breakfast, 10 min by walk far from the archeological site, good staff! Nice room with a strange but beautiful wooden style! Super in a quality/price balance

Review 35:Breakfast was sub par. No fresh fruit, which is in abundance in Greece this time of year. Just some cereals, bread and boiled eggs. Really uninspired. The pillow was too big and like a rock with a springy mattress.

Review 36:It was available at late notice. Checking in was really quick. Overall very cheap.

Review 37:Exceptional value for money. Hotel is full of character, rooms are a nice size and breakfast was very good. Also had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent! Very nice and helpful staff. Great location.

Review 38:Beautiful place. We are delighted with both the city itself and the Hotel Lefas: very nice and helpful staff, great location make that place it can be recommended to all visitors.

Review 39:The shower/bath is uniquely difficult to get in and stay in let alone complete a shower in any sort of comfort

Review 40:Good location with fantastic view, warm and genuine hospitality. Room noise and shower size are what you get at this price.

Review 41:I did not like that we had to leave!

Review 42:It is not some fancy schmancy Parisian hotel, but elegant in its charming way. The rooms are not decorated by House of Blah, but with taste. The family is very friendly and helpful.

Review 43:The staff could not speak another language other than greek. A bitfrustrating, even though they were willing to help.

Review 44:The view in our room was amazing. And the room was pretty clean waswell. The Wifi worked almost perfectly. Location, ear the museum andarcheological sites, reastaurants

Review 45:Swimming pool closed, internet didn't work and 15 minutes waiting to pay because the line was off, they didn't give an invoice on top of it.

Review 46:Probably the best thing about this Hotel is the proximity to the archeological site.

Review 47:The views to the sea from the balcony were incredible and very peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Also, the breakfast was simply but with high quality (yogurth was amazing).

Review 48:Rooms are very warm and cosy, the wood panelling gives a lovely ambience to the room, warm welcome, staff very attentive, fantastic view, I would stay here again. Maureen

Review 49:There were some tv-antenna problems (the owner stated that it was a common village problem) making it impossible to watch some tv and you have to wait some minutes before hot water comes out of the shower, which makes you wonder if there is hot water at all!

Review 50:I liked the price to comfort/facilities ratio, the people were kind and the location very handy. Breakfast was included in the price and its quite descent. The view from the room was amazing!

Review 51:Not all rooms have good mountain view, some may obstructed with another building.

Review 52:Very, very pleasant stuff. Amazing view from the breakfast restaurant. A lot of comfortable places near rooms inside the hotel to spend time.

Review 53:Breakfast was not fresh There was no hot water Internet was not working properly in our room nor in the common areas

Review 54:Good location, place looks nice, they helped us storing our luggage on our departure day

Review 55:Can't be helped, but we booked a room for 4 (as we are travelling with young children) but they were having plumbing problems so we were given 2 doubles.

Review 56:Amazing view! Great location, right in town. Nice bar closeby (Amigos). Breakfast was quite good, and staff friendly.

Review 57:It is not complaint, just for information. The bathroom is very cramped, if you prefer spacious one, this hotel may not meet your taste. Sound insulation between rooms was found poor, unfortunately the guests in the next room were so loud and this annoyed me a lot.

Review 58:An affordable hotel with amazing view from rooms (if the rooms are facing to the valley). Located in the heart of town, it is convenient to go anywhere in Delphi.

Review 59:The room was small, the bathroom was really small, shower was like for skinny small people. I got stuck at the walls each shower. A bit dark, but has doors for a balcony. Thin walls so could hear noises from other rooms, has trouble to fall asleep. But at least in the center of everything. Has no parking space. Many lamps didn't work or had no bulb. Problem with wifi and electricity.

Review 60:There is a restaurant in the hotel, a really good one and it has a big variety of traditional greek food, including meat, fish, sea food and many vegetarian portions. Prices are fine and reasonable. The breakfast was better than other hotels we've been, but the usual, bread many jam types, kornflakes, tea coffee yoghurt canned fruits cookies. Great view from balcony.

Review 61:The bathroom was a bit grotty but fine for 1 night, the towells were very old and frayed

Review 62:We were expecting a dump considering the price but were pleasantly surprised. When checking in the lady on the desk let me choose from 3 rooms and was very friendly despite not speaking any English. Breakfast was nice and fresh and lovely views. The bed was comfortable

Review 63:Rooms are cramped for a group with more than 3 people

Review 64:A fantastic hotel with a gorgeous view. The owners are friendly and even offered us a second room free of charge. All the utilities work perfectly, and the plumbing is very good by Greek standards. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are cozy to the point of being almost "homely". Breakfast is free, and features some of the best yogurt we've ever had. The cost is very low, so don't hesitate to book here.
