Reviews for The Ferris Wheel B&B
Review 1:The Perfect BnB, cosy and beautiful. Lovely owners. Lively restaurant/tavern just a 5 minutes walk and brilliant mountainous adventures to be had.
Review 2:Only drawback was (and this has nothing to do with Ferris wheel) that after walking the gap of dunloe and getting the boats through the lakes of killarney we had to get a taxi back out to Ferris wheel as the shuttle bus that we were told about when booking the boats only goes twice a day..
Review 3:Accomadation was of an excellent standard and staff were very friendly and welcoming, loved it's proximity to Kate kearneys cottage, which was great for a meal and a few drinks in the evening
Review 4:Brown water from tap. Broken plank on floor.
Review 5:Breakfasts were great, made to order and plenty of choice. Owners were friendly and approachable. Location was perfect for us, near Kate Kearneys! Info book very comprehensive. Bed very comfy! Owner spent a good ten minutes chatting to us about all the local attractions, great welcome!
Review 6:Uncomfortable bed, bathroom spiders (8 on arrival), owner would only take cash - no advance notice of this, so quite inconvenient
Review 7:Good wifi and breakfast
Review 8:Great location for what we were doing (cycling/running) and proximity to Kate Kearney's cottage. Owner has a nice big shed where we stored our bikes and were able to hang wet clothes. Friendly owners and great breakfast.
Review 9:Shower very powerful but no shower screen in our room which lead to lots of water everywhere
Review 10:Beautiful location, very friendly staff, convenient for Killarney
Review 11:WiFi would be good to have there, but well... maybe we don't need to check facebook every minute.
Review 12:It was just perfect place to stay overnight with family with 3 kids (1-5 yo). Room clean, breakfast tasty, owners friendly, nothing to add on.
Review 13:Our shower was scalding hot so we couldn't use it and when we told the owner he just said he didn't know why and didn't offer to look at it even or to let us use another shower..we had to wash our hair in the sink.
Review 14:Loved the location it was right beside the gap of dunloe.
Review 15:Maintenance man could use an hour in the room to fix a couple little things which really didn't affect our visit, but were a little annoying.
Review 16:Location perfect. Good breakfast.
Review 17:Water main broke (obviously beyond host's control) but host expected full payment. We would have rated excellent if some sort of discount given since we were unable to shower etc.
Review 18:Friendly host, lovely room, quiet location.
Review 19:The landlady recommended that it would be ok to drive up to the Gap of Dunloe in the evening as the day's visitors were mostly done and the horse and cart rides all finished for the day. It was great to have the chance to view the gap in peace. Although the B&B is quite isolated it was very close to Kate Kearneys Cottage which was perfect for a drink and hearty meal at the end of the day. The breakfast was excellent and the property had a fresh, bright feel to it - quite different from the more traditional B&Bs we have stayed on this trip.
Review 20:The room we had was underneath the owners part of the house. We stayed for two nights. At 11.30pm on the first night the bedroom walls were shaking with the vibration of possibly "washing machinery/spinner" being used. This went on for an hour. The noise was very loud as well. The next night the same thing happened at12.20am. Some toilet facilities were above the room and the ceiling is very thin...no privacy should we say! Very poor 2 nights sleep. The pillows were so hard my ears hurt the next morning. I had to use the towels as some comfort. Surprisingly for a new build house the fixtures in the bathroom were broken, loose tile, bath tap handle came unscrewed in my hand, no shower curtain or shelf to put washing stuff....but plenty of "useless dried flowers/ornaments" dotted around the room.
Review 21:Very clean. The owner of the property was wonderfully helpful with her local knowledge and advise. She was very welcoming.
Review 22:a beautiful house where sympathy, cleanliness, quiet and an excellent breakfast are ready for you. We stood there three nights, in a very large well provided room for three people, at a price you will normally pay in a hotel, very often a lower standard one.
Review 23:Modern, clean, quiet, comfortable B&B with great hosts and excellent breakfast. The location was good, too, near the Gap of Dunloe. We especially appreciated the assistance provided by Mrs. Ferris when we discovered that it was a bank holiday and services that we needed were closed. The home-made guidebook to local attractions that we found in the room was extremely well done, and most helpful.
Review 24:The hosts were wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Review 49:Nothing.
Review 50:Owners are very nice people. Great spot to visit all Killarney's main places - including Carrauntohill, the Gap of Dunloe and the lakes. Also very quiet surrounding which makes it a big differentiator from being in the middle of Killarney.
Review 51:It was all good, so nothing
Review 52:The location was amazing, the room was good value for money and John was a great host. The breakfast was divine and included in the price! A short walk to Kate's cottage with great food and live music most nights
Review 53:My room was clean but basic. There was just a shower in there. Though I never raised this as an issue.
Review 54:The staff were friendly, and could not have done more for me. In my view they went absolutely above and beyond what I would have expected of them. Even buying me Birthday cards, and breakfast in bed. Thank you John.
