Reviews for Hotel Lovran

Review 1:It didn't really matter, but we'd suggest self-service meals.

Review 2:Excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff, charming old villa, wonderful sea view, great value for money.

Review 3:Perfect location, 3 mins from the beach, 5 mins from the bus stop going to Opatija. The atmosphere of the hotel is extremely charming, and so is the hotel stuff!

Review 4:Staff were unfriendly. Got a very very small room, no wifi in the room, broken shower. Had to park 10 mins walking from the hotel, as there was no parking. Our complaints were not answered. Completely not worth this price.

Review 5:Breakfast was ok.

Review 6:- Parking is a bit difficult. - Smell of food in the corridor.

Review 7:- Middle in town of Lovran everything on walking distance. - Friendly people and helpful.

Review 8:No sun - no sun beds on the beach... We were not very lucky about the weather, but stuff didn'd do anything to compensate. If it was rainy in the morning with a sunshine to follow and it was warm enough to swim and enjoy yourself on a beach, still sun beds were piled up and chained. On this type of the beach it was essential, as a beton floor was always wet with the waves. Despite of us asking several times to do smth about it, nothing was done to find a solution. It was very disappointing... Also, it stands right on a main road, so if you have a street view room, it might be quite noisy.

Review 9:Close to the sea, with it's own beach. Sea view rooms are quiet. In general, very good quality hotel, doesn't feel like 3 star

Review 10:Thanks a lot for the team :-)

Review 11:Dated furniture

Review 12:Great sea views, good breakfast

Review 13:The hotel is very close to the beach, the busstop is infront of the hotel, the staf is very helpfull and all over Lovran you have free park places.

Review 14:Staff were very friendly but the hotel is a little old and run down.

Review 15:No AC though it was promissed.

Review 16:Breakfast was ok

Review 17:personal

Review 18:position in town

Review 19:breakfast only fair

Review 20:location

Review 21:no AC in rooms, but it is not needed in fact

Review 22:The hotel overall seems a bit outdated and definitely in need of refurbishing. Breakfast could be better Poor WIFI access in rooms, but very good in lobby area.

Review 23:Decent hotel with comfortable, spacey and clean rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff

Review 24:That I was sure I had ordered a room with a balkony, because the pictures showed that when I ordered. The internet didn't work so well.

Review 25:Our room, the view from our balkony, close to the Beach, the see promenade, to swim in the ocean, possibility to get massage. We got a room with balkony after some diskussion after arriving.

Review 26:The room up the bar it isn't quinte if you would Mike sleep more in the morning because there is speking, noising, smoking band so on. Bit there si seaview........ Thanks.

Review 27:no balcony or aircondition in the seaview room

Review 28:Hotel staff was excellent. Nice hotel with its own beach but please do choose the seaview room, the other option is a noisy road. Breakfast was good although crowded at times. Would recommend the hotel to young couples or families.

Review 29:Our room was in an older wing of the hotel without elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up ourselves.

Review 30:The receptionist was very helpful and quite funny. From the hotel it's a short walk down to the sea, with a small private area for hotel guests. The parking places in front of the hotel are usually full, but the staff provided us with a place.

Review 31:Our room was a bit hot at night; it got much better with the windows open but we got waken up a bit early by the people playing in the tennis court.

Review 32:Nice and clean, sits in an excellent position. The view from the room is wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and offered lots of choices. We were very happy we could bring our dog with us. The staff was very nice and friendly. Two tennis courts are available if you enjoy playing.

Review 33:The toilettie is not rich and you have to bring by yourselves.

Review 34:Quiet and nice view, and quite a lot of facilities nearby, we enjoyedswimming there.

Review 35:I reserved a room with a sea view, at an higher price. They gave us a room at the first floor, with a big tree in front and we could barely see the sea. The room and the bathroom were small. The carpet was old and dirty, and smelling bad. Air conditioning was working very badly. I asked to change the room, but I was told that the hotel was almost full, and that the other rooms left were even worst, and without air conditioning !! They were advertizing the possibility of parking, but the small private parking was full, and I had to park somewhere else. We stayed only one night but it was enough.

Review 36:none

Review 37:This hotel is outdated and needs money spent on it. However it was wellpatronized. It is very little distance from the old town and we had alovely meal in the square opposite the church.

Review 38:The staff were very obliging especially when I was unhappy with theallocated room. I was given a bunch of keys to choose a room from, whichI thought was terrific. We ended up paying extra for an apartment, whichwas very spacious and affordable for only one night. Breakfast on theterrace was charming.

Review 39:Hotel Lovran has seen better days and it definitely needs a lift up. Our superior room was far from superior standard, it was smelly and feel a bit dirty, there was no fridge in the room and the TV was so small we'd need binocular to watch it from the bed... Finding empty car park around hotel is also an adventure...

Review 40:Lovran is a beautiful city in Kvarner and this old and stylish hotel with the same name has a great location within the city, in a very center, next to the historic coast. As a hotel it has a great potential.

Review 41:Only 1 thing I didnt like, the fact that I actually had to leave the place at some point.I would stay there for a long time.Just perfect.

Review 42:Lovran is a fantastic, beautifull place. The hotel is very close to the see.It has kind of privat beach. The breakfast was nice. The hotel staff is helpfull and friendly.

Review 43:Hotel Lovran can make you fall in love! It is cute and likeable! And if you go with intimacy, stylish and romantic settings in old house-vila, with sea-side view - then this is it for you! And near-by Lungo-mare waking path is really beautiful!!!

Review 44:If you are disturbed by noise, it is better to get a sea view room. Therooms looking out onto the street can be a bit noisy, especially on aFriday night when all the young people are coming back from the city.

Review 45:Excellent location within walking distance of Lovran village. For athree star hotel the facilities were quite nice. Large spacious lobbywith piano and walk up bar, clean well appointed rooms. The man workingthe reception was also very nice and professional. Beyond simply doinghis job, he took the time to inform me about the history of Croatia.

Review 46:The room was a nice size and had a great sea view and balcony.

Review 47:Great Terrase and balcony view

Review 48:Not enough parking lots, no fridge in the room

Review 49:Excellent location, free parking, free Wifi, good breakfast.

Review 50:Good value for money. Clean and comfortable with generous breakfast.

Review 51:No enough parking space

Review 52:Beautiful hotel in small town, friendly staff, clean, big rooms, nice view....

Review 53:Poor street side noise isolation.

Review 54:Very pleasent staff and rich breakfest.

Review 55:Small rooms (not 25m2 as advrtised), hot - no ac in all rooms, the roomswith street view are very loud, poor isolation

Review 56:Location

Review 57:Good location (close to the beach and the village centre as well), seaview from the room, rich breakfast, cleanliness
