Review 1：They were understaffed at the front desk for the holiday season. The tried to provide a huge variety of food, but it was just okay and an attempt to cater to the western palate. If you are foodie, I would recommend eating at the beach shacks to get a more authentic experience.

Review 4：Very close to the beach. Cavellosim is one of the best beaches and this property provides private access to it which is nice.

Review 5：Staff is cooperative and readily available also , breakfast is ok 7/10 . The beach is not self owned and be ready to shell out at beach as the local shack won't allow you to sit without it . The food in hotel is expensive . Moreover you can find good food outside very nearby , facilities in rooms are average nothing much pampering

Review 6：1. The wifi connectivity is only in the lobby and is very bad. 2. The hotel encourages people from outside to find customers for their fraudulent activities. Two persons named Arun and Jack came to my husband and me and offered to take us on an Island snorkeling trip with blue water and white sandy beach, show us dolphins and arrange for a buffet lunch. When we went on this trip, we were taken to a dirty beach around the corner. There was no island. The water was sandy and very rough giving no chance to snorkel. The lunch was basic fish, veg pulao and salad. The umbrellas they provided us on the beach were a joke. Overall we lost 1 day of vacation on a dirty beach! Dona Sylvia is a great place to be. But please watch out for such fraudulent guys like Jack.

Review 7：1. The hotel provided us assistance to get a very good taxi service. 2. The staff is very active and friendly. 3. We stayed there for 6 days and 5 nights. We really enjoyed their pool area, the lunch and dinner buffets.

Review 8：All rooms should be of same standard. Some rooms had better beds than others and were more welcoming.

Review 9：Wheelchair accessibility. Lovely trees in garden. Spaced out accommodation. Variety of vegetarian food. Great staff.

Review 10：Room service awful . I have to request everyday for room cleaning and fresh towels. Very old furniture . Balcony chairs covered in dust . I don't think this is five star property. Disappointed for the money we have paid and the property not upto standard. Wifi useless. Have to go to reception area to get wifi even that is slow and very often you get logged out. Air-con not working properly and management didn't do much to improve.

Review 12：1. Wifi is an issue. An archaic method of logging in everytime one moves within the hotel. And the wifi itself was slow and patchy. 2. I had to settle the room bills before I checked in. I have not had to do this for any of my booking.com reservations. Since the hotel has my credit card details, I was a bit peeved that I had to settle bills before check in.

Review 19：It is directly on the beach, you could not be closer! And though the area is pretty dead, the hotel is very very close (on foot) to the shopping, money exchange, etc that is available in the area.

Review 20：Unfortunately we observed one of the supervisors (presumably - green shirt) in the breakfast restaurant being prickly with many of the staff. It seemed to us there was a friction between this man and many of the staff! Staff appeared wary in his presence. He was not a smiley person. Not what customers should be seeing and not how he should be behaving.

Review 22：there was this guy in the premises called Jack (not part of Dona Sylvia). He runs a business of boat rides etc. called Jack's cruises. We don't think he is a nice person. He literally took us for a 'ride' Not recommended. Go for Betty's cruises instead

Review 24：The resort is very well situated. The cottage was very clean and the food on offer was diverse and delicious. The swimming beach is on your doorstep if you did not want to use the superclean swimming pool.

Review 25：It was a pleasure staying at this beautiful Mediterranean beach resort, had a wonderful relaxed stay. We were 2 adults and 1 child (6-yr old) and we stayed here for 5N/6D. Greeted by extremely helpful and polite staff, excellent facilities, great food arrangements with both Indian and continental varieties. The private beach, the pool all added to our enjoyment.

We drove all the way to the famous Martins Corner and food there was outstanding with bigger portion sizes and great taste. Buffet at hotel was expensive around Rs 850/head.We booked with booking.com and hence we got free wifi, but only for 4 hours?? This wasn't mentioned at Booking.com. We thought it was free for the day.

There are many souvenir shops and restaurants in the street in front of hotel resort
