Renowned Italian designer Vico Magistretti conceived the building as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the Ligurian sea. The ample garden is filled with olive trees and Mediterranean oaks, while the swimming pool in marble, equipped with Jacuzzi, is reminiscent of ancient Roman baths.

Review 1：We reserve 2 suites . We were 2 couples. One suite was fine. However, suite 201 should not be allowed to be call a suite on your booking site.

Review 3：The room and hotel overall were outdated and most furniture could have done with replacing. Old dirty mirrors in the bedroom and a dirty shower curtain - just a no go!! Rooms don't match the price or how nice the lobby nd restaurant look! Also don't keep my passport lying around at reception for everyone to reach!

Review 7：We have been here a few times over the years and love the peace and quiet, the beautiful grounds and pool (with mountain view), and the comfortable rooms. The owner is the son of the late Angelo Paracucchi, a legendary Italian chef, and the excellent restaurant is seriously gourmet. I always wish we could stay longer. House-made jams for breakfast.

Review 18：The location of the hotel is perfect for those with a car - surrounded by beautiful vineyards and fields, an ancient Roman site (Luni), and a long stretch of sandy beach only about 1km away. We were able to spend time at the beach, relax by the hotel's beautiful marble swimming pool (with hydro-massage jets in one corner), and back to the beach front for dinner without driving too far at all. The hotel itself is thoughtfully-decorated and the gardens are lovely. Very helpful and friendly staff and a good breakfast. We'd definitely return.
