Reviews for Arnolfo B&B

Review 1:The staff is very nice, very helpful with explaining about the area, and attentive. The room and kitchen were always clean. The hotel is highly recommended.

Review 2:Parking is difficult but understandable for a location in the middle of a medieval village given that we did not arrive on horseback! Free parking 3 minutes walk away up about 4 flights of stairs.

Review 3:Location was great - in the middle of the old town, The redevelopment of the original building was done well. Breakfast in the garden was pleasant but two steep floors down (worth it). Owner was very informative about local history and about Siena.

Review 4:Wifi was not strong in our room. But it was a great way to unplug and enjoy our vacation!

Review 5:Great location, very friendly owners and relaxing accommodation.

Review 6:So satisfied

Review 10:Absolutely nothing - it was perfect.

Review 11:What a wonderful discovery. The town is beautiful, and Arnolfo B&B is right at the gates to the old town centre. The rooms are modern and neat, yet retain the old world charm. Perfect place. ps - in summer, the gardens would be perfect (too cold in winter)

Review 12:Wifi connection was a little dodgey when in the room. Not many English channels on the TV

Review 13:Decor and location were absolutely stunning. The two owners were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Highly recommend this place, everything was so beautiful

Review 14:Nothing

Review 15:The room was spacious and clean and the staff were fantastically helpful. They recommended a great restaurant and booked a table for us. I inadvertently left some of my possessions when we left and the staff could not have been more helpful in sorting out my mistake. We loved being in the old town. Breakfast was buffet style, relaxed and there was plenty of choice. A shared kitchen area on each floor had a communal fridge and a kettle to make drinks which was ample for us.

Review 16:To check in, you must show up at 3PM or later. Otherwise the door is locked and the owners are not present.

Review 17:Both of the owners, Daniele and Manila, could not have been more accommodating. Their B&B is quite modern with new bathrooms and is very comfortable. Double shutters on the windows allow light in while keeping bugs at bay. Great location and quiet.

Review 18:The hotel is in a quaint Tuscan village. Walk to reasonable restaurants for dinner and central to both Florence and Siena. I would recommend a winery tour at one of the nearby places.

Review 19:The hotel was situated in the historic center of Cole Val 'd Elsa, in a beutifull building with all the comforts. Spacious rooms and very well decorated. The breakfast place at the yard was wonderfull and the oweners very profesional and polite. Excellent quality of sleep and stay!

Review 20:Nothing really.

Review 40:Location Cleanliness Comfort

Review 41:The location of the facility is great, just in the neighbourhood of the Colle's Old town. It is a beautiful old house and the romm was very nice and clean. The breakfast was served in sunny garden. Everything perfect!

Review 42:In the b&b they don't change the towels evrey day, but they clean the room so it was ok. There's not alot of thing to do at the night

Review 43:The owner and his wife was very friendlly and kind, and help us with every information we needed. The brakefast is nice and tasty. The community is silent and beautiful.

Review 44:Beautiful place, very clean and quiet. Wonderful view, on the top of the hill, excellent location. Excellent and very friendly staff-came to pick us up late in the eveninig. Definitely would recommend it.

Review 45:It was very quiet in the room and with all necessary comfort. I also appreciated the coffee/tee facilities. The location of the B&B is convenient (in between Sienna and Firenze) and in the beautiful old part of the town. There was a friendly and helpful reception.

Review 46:This b&b is really beautifully designed, even nicer than the pictures on the website. We had a lovely room with a beautiful view.Owners were very friendly and accomadating.Breakfast is more than sufficent, with cereals, bread, cakes, biscuits, fruit etc.and great coffee ! We would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it.They also have a beautiful garden

Review 47:It was wonderful! The staff is really friendly, the place awesome, the room impressive and the breakfast very nice (specially the croissants and variety of fruits)

Review 48:-could be hard to locate especially in the night

Review 49:+very friendly hotel staff. Drove down to Colle city center to pick us up late in the night. +beautiful accommodation in a renovated country house +proximity (driving) to several tuscan towns

Review 50:The parking was off site but did not cause us a problem. The first night we parked on the street a few steps down from the hotel and the second night we parked in the public lot at the bottom of the hill.

Review 51:The location so close to the historic town was fabulous. Daniel and his wife were friendly and helpful. Breakfast included cereals, breads, meats, fruit and fresh cappuccino.and it was served on their lovely patio outdoors. There were tables indoors for those who preferred it. All in all it was a great spot and we would stay again. There were restaurants to choose from within walking distance of the hotel.

Review 52:Very beautiful and very clean. nice town and location is perfect. Even an out door yard to relax and eat breakfast..Staff extremely helpful .. would recommend to all

Review 53:The only negatives were that the beds were a little hard and it was quite a hike up hill to get from the parking lot (which was free) to the B&B.

Review 54:Our room was beautiful and spacious! Loved the exposed rock and wood beams! Colle was also a great jumping off point to visit other hill towns in Tuscany, many were only a 20-30 minute drive through vineyards and sunflower fields away! The owners were also very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! The village of Colle also had a couple of budget friendly cafes.

Review 55:Better directions to get there. Some English tv would have been good andsoap would have been better than body wash without a washer!

Review 56:The accommodation was excellent the staff very frIendly. The breakfastwas a good variety. Location to the old city great and the b&b wasvery quiet.

Review 57:Only 50m away from Historic Area but very calm. Building is clean and not too much decorated which we liked. Owner(s) are quiet but whenever we asked to help, they gave us right answer and help.

Review 58:There is nothing that I did not like at Arnolfo's B&B!

Review 59:What you see in photos is exactly what Arnolfo's B& b is. Westayed there for 4 nights. It is very comfortable, clean, spacious, withgood firm bed and bed sheets freshly laundered. This B&B is owned byDaniel and Manila. They are a wonderful couple, friendly and helpful.Daniel picked us up when we got lost at Colle Val D'Elsa. AndManila's capuccino is the best! It is what I always look for comesbreakfast time on top of a good spread of salami, ham, cheese, marmaladeand different types of bread. If we have a chance to go back one day inTuscany, we will stay again at Arnolfo's B&B. The village whereArnolfo's is located, Colle Val D'Elsa (the old town) isspectacular and truly medieval. This village and its neighboring SanGimignano and Volterra are a 'must' to visit. Volterra hasbeautiful landscapes! We also visited Assisi. It is truly spiritual andinspiring, a humbling experience to see the shrines of St Francis, StClare and the other Saints.

Review 60:No fault of the hotel, but parking was limited due to hotel being located in a "zona traffico limitato". Had to park on a side street and walk a little to the hotel.

Review 61:Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms nicely decorated, all the amenities that you need. Beautiful courtyard. Price was fairly decent too compared to other properties.

Review 62:The parking is tough. Since the location is small city center, there is no parking at the hotel, and very limited parking around the hotel. You need to drive down a small ways to get to allowed parking. Internet signal was shaky and inconsistent.

Review 63:The location in the center of the small town was great. Quiet, and great to unwind and relax. Castle like setting of city is very unique, with some small shops and eateries nearby. Great area for photographers. The room is also very clean and comfortable, and the guy who prepared our breakfast and helped us with our bags was very nice.

Review 64:Everything about the Arnolfo b & b is fantastic. Let's startwith the extremely kind and friendly hospitality of Stefan, his fabulouswife and parents. Let's also mention the wonderful breakfasts andexcellent timely advice. We highly recommend this location for thosewanting to explore The Chianti wine region, Siena, San Gimignano,Volterra ........ There are many good restaurants in the area.

Review 65:Parking was not easy because there were restrictions everywhere. Fortunately there was a parking space 10mins walk away.

Review 66:The b&b was situated on top of a hill right next to an old fort. So we could literally see the town below. Beside the hotel were the city gates and that provided an excellent atmosphere.

Review 67:very cozy place, nice people

Review 68:Clean room, nice bed, excelent location
