Reviews for Villa Sabolini
Review 1:Low variety of fruits in breakfast Cold bedroom Little insects on the bedroom
Review 2:Location in the middle of Toscany but really near Siena Spacious bedroom Car parking
Review 3:The signs don't tells you exactly where to enter so you can pass by the correct entrance for the firs time.
Review 4:Marvellous old-style rooms with attention to detail interiors! Really comfortable beds and well furnished rooms. Comfortable and well designed bathroom with high quality soaps, shampoo and even a body lotion! Like in a good hotel. Many places to sit and relax inside or specially outside, within nature in the garden or by the pool. The breakfast was so delicious, I was repeating "mmm" for several minutes:-) Free, private, spacious parking. We haven't used it, but there is a pool with lots of sunbeds and an open-air shower.
Review 5:Magnificent place surrounded by nature in the Tuscan landscape. Perfect service and simple but refined Italian style in everything. Beautiful rooms and beautiful pool.
Review 6:First of all the pictures of the standard rooms on Booking.com differs from the actual room. The room was much smaller that declared (approx. 12 sqm vs 18 sq.) and the furniture was dated. The Booking receipt email stated standard room was decorated with frescos and high quality furniture set up. We stayed on a side wing of the property called "La Fattoria" and quite frankly the worst area and all the rooms where like ours. In fact we complained with the reception but we've been told there was no other better room available. The room cleaning left something to be desired. The room had no air conditioning therefore we were forced to keep the window open at night and all kinds of insect entered the room (mosquitos, flyers, cicala, green bug).
Review 7:the property has potential. Particularly the main building and the outdoor space/garden. The Wi-Fi works well. The swimming pool area is nice even though is bordering a street.
Review 8:Nothing.
Review 9:First of all, the hotel is an old italian villa house and it is authentic. Hotel is located in the center of all the historical and beautiful towns of the toscana. If you are planning to see volterra, san gimignano, monteriggioni, siena and montalcino It is in the middle of all of it and the Villa Sabolini gonna be the right choice. I have to say that the kitchen and the chef is remarkable, food is marvelous and the prices are low. So I advice to have the dinner in the hotel during your stay. We stayed in economy room but the bathroom, bathtub equals to suite class. Swimming pool is an extra on all of these. One of the bests that I stayed.
Review 10:the location is ok if you have a car, otherwise quite difficult to get there.
Review 11:The hotel was really nice, with big clean rooms, a nice garden and pool. The breakfast was nice and we could park in the private parking.
Review 12:The food was great but I'm pretty sure one of my prawns at lunch must have been off because I spent the evening and night throwing up. The bathroom was very nice!! Wife and kids had a lovely evening.
Review 13:It was great for a night. The kids loved the pool and the setting is gorgeous.
Review 14:difficult to find with or without gps (only possible way is to use coordinates). Awful cheap doors on all rooms (made of sheet metal - no sound insulation- causing unbearable clatter). "Nice view" - brick wall right against room window. Dinner with suspicious quality
Review 15:location somewhere nowhere
Review 16:Originally we had booked an economy room, which was very damp/humid and located in the basement. It really wasn't a nice room so we asked for a different one. Unfortunately we had to pay extra, but I'm happy we did as it completely changed our experience. Selection of the breakfast buffet is rather small, therefore we felt it was not on par with the food served in the evening.
Review 17:We considered to take half board, but didn't since we didn't want to be bound to food at one location while it might not be so good. We found ourselves having dinner there every night since the food was very good. Best tiramisu we had during our holiday. They also had nice wines which were very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the snacks that come with the aperitivo (cheese/meat/toast with salsa). We stayed in a room with a new bathroom which was very nice. Pool area was good with many options for a spot in the shade. Great views, nice atmosphere and ideal location - we would certainly recommend it.
Review 18:Head waiter a touch pushy and slightly annoying! Instant coffee for breakfast and strange metal doors in rooms felt like my time behind bars! :)
Review 19:Lovely Setting... Great facilities, Lovely spots to sit and relax at, very relaxed feel!
Review 20:The door of the room are not all the way to the floor. So you see the light, and hear other in the hallway. Staff could be more communicative.
Review 21:Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Hotel surroundings is beautiful.
Review 22:One word: perfect.
Review 23:No air conditioning
Review 24:- shower - we just stayed one night...
Review 25:-All (rooms, price/quality, service, staff, breakfast, relax, silence, landscape, etc.)
Review 26:We had to check out.
Review 27:The location was great for day trips to Siena and Florence. The grounds were beautiful, and it was a quiet and relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and charming. Our room was small but clean and comfortable.
Review 28:We didn't get time to enjoy the pool or restaurant which both looked beautiful! Wish we had more time! Glad we had a car to get around
Review 29:We came from Ireland for a friends wedding in Tuscany. We flew to Pisa and hired a car. It took 2 hours to drive to the hotel which was all dual carriage way until the last 8miles. From directions it was still easy to find. The hotel is rural but is an idilic setting. The wedding could have taken place there. The hotel was old but with modern luxurious bathroom in marble. It was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend it if u want a break in Tuscany that's rural but not too far from amenities if u need them (2 miles)
Review 30:Very charming place. Staff very helpful. Bathroom very clean and new. Incredible view. Very cosy terrasse to have a glass of wine. Close to perfection.
Review 31:Great landscape, spacious rooms, beautiful building.
Review 32:Dont air conditioning, value for money for the dinner. Quality And services.
Review 33:Environnement,commodités
