Reviews for Le Murelle Country Resort

Review 1:The only negative point is the location. If you want to relax is great as it is very isolated. Not great if you want to visit the beautiful towns around (Pitigliano, Montemerano) and the AMAZING Saturnia Terme. As the rural roads are tricky (Poor quality of surfaces - No signs). You MUST have GPS (And you may still get lost). To drive 5 miles may take you 30 minutes.

Review 2:Great for people looking for a very quiet place, immersed in the nature. Dante and his wife produce their own wine, olive oil, cheese. They have horses, cows, pigs, sheeps. May-September must be great as they have a nice swimming pool. They are very friendly (It feels like your are invited to their home). Rooms are lovely, beautiful views and very clean. AMAZING Saturnia Terme (30 minute drive) we had a bath on January 2nd - Surreal but true. You must visit Montemerano and Pitigliano.

Review 3:Leaving!

Review 4:As my entire family said, "everything"! We loved our stay and can't wait to return! Dante is a terrific host. The food was the best we have had on our entire trip! Wish we could bottle this place up and take it home with us...oh wait we did...we bought the wine!

Review 5:I do wish more vegetables and fruits were served during meals.

Review 6:From the moment we walked onto the property we were in love. The views of the Tuscan hills are amazing. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the hills and the pool. All the food they serve is grown/raised on the farm, and was delicious. They even had some gluten free pasta for me. The owners are absolutely lovely people and went out of their way to ensure every guest was taken care of. We arrived late in the afternoon and had not stopped for lunch. They fixed us a plate of cheese, ham and bread with 2 glasses of their wine and brought it down to the pool for us. Simply devine!!

Review 7:staff was helpful and very friendly. I like the fact that this was a true working farm.

Review 8:The only downside was the air conditioning in the rooms during a veryhot day.  It Was not adequate to handle the heat.

Review 9:We have traveled to Italy for the past 43 years and been to all 20regions, some a number of times. This was one of our most wonderful andunusual stays! The food is outstanding rivaling any cucina in Italy! Theestate produced wine is superb! The rooms are modern and veryfunctional. However, the highlight of our visit was our host, Dante, andhis beautiful wife! Our dinner on the patio was absolutely spectacular. There were four adults in our party from the United States, two adultsfrom Germany and two from Italy. We ate for over three hours and theconversation, along with the food and wine, was marvelous. Our night wascapped with a visit to Dante's wine cellar where we tasted, from thebarrel, wine produced on the estate. Our two teenage granddaughters wereable to ride horses, go hiking and swim in a beautiful pool. The settingis peaceful and allows you to really kick back and relax. Lamentably, Afamily issue required us to leave after only one day.
