Review 1：They have beautiful villas and pool with a mountain view. The staffs are all friendly and accommodating, whenever we need something, they act on it immediately. During Christmas, they had special Balinese performance and nice food preparations which made our stay truly remarkable!

In the middle of the resort is a big pool with thermal water and a bar! Bungalows were very spacious, clean, with nice regional accent. There was thermal water even in a shower! :) A room was cleaned two times daily. Everywhere is a lot of trees and flowers. Good food in a restaurant. Beautiful view on mountains.

Review 11：Brand new resort/hotel (open since januari 2015). Private big bungalow with a open-air bathroom. Very warm pool (water from a natural spring) with a nice bar in the middle. Easy to rent a scooter at the reception desk.

Review 12：Pemuteran is built along one long street. Hotels are either on the side facing the sea or the other. This hotel is on the other side. You hear the traffic from the road. Besides the delicious breakfast the food we ordered in the restaurant was ok but not great. i strongly recommend to checkout the restaurants around the hotel (10 min walk).

Note: it's a little far from Denpasar airport (totally worth the distance) ask the hotel to arrange a transfer. I booked my transfer separately and the driver got lost, took a lot longer then it should have.

Villas are beautifully designed in traditional style with nice outdoor bathroom. Pool area is beautiful and relaxing with lots of flowers and greenery. Pemuteran itself is an excellent starting point for many trips in the less traveled western part of Bali (Menjangan snorkelif/diving, dolphin watching, temples, mountain areas, volcanoes on nearby Java, national park, etc.). I would come back in a heartbeat.

Review 42：I do not know if the speakers for praying are all over Pemuteran, but we got awake at 05.00 am. So that's a bit annoying.. especially because it lasted for an hour or so if not longer. But it is not so worse as on Java :-)

Review 43：The staff was very nice to us, they gave us a very warm welcome! The cocktails are one of the best we had on Bali. They prepare it with fresh fruits (yes sliching it) right in front of you! The swimming pool is very nice with warm water from the hot spring. The same is used for the showers. Sometimes a bit warmer sometimes a bit less they told us.. it depends because its coming directly from the mountain. But there are (nearly) no chemicals used so it is good for your skin! The room we had was really amazing! Nice bed with good matras. Diner was excellent! And breakfast was good, although some more variety would be something little to improve. I would return to this resort if we are in Bali again!

Review 53：Permuteran did not have much to warrant the trip from south and central Bali. And Kinaara's location was poor in Permuteran, you would want to be on beach. Snorkelling trip organised by resort for 575k was OK but not great, for whatever reason, some fish but little coral. More road noise than u would want. More than two days would not work for us.

Review 66：The general problem is the location itself - Pemuteran - there is absolutely nothing to do there apart from diving/snorkeling close to the island nearby (a 30 minutes boat trip is totally worth of it!) and walking in the mountains. We spent there 1 week and it was way too long because the beach is 5 minutes walk from a hotel and it is less nice than longs beaches in the south of Bali.

If that's the case when you arrive, ask for room service for breakfast/lunch. Dinner time wasn't a problem. Bali unfortunately suffers a trash pandemic which a few locals try to combat... unfortunately through slow burning. Kinaara hotel is, fortunately, isolated from this... but not the beaches nearby.

We were there for New Years eve and they put on a fantastic show, delicious dinner at a great price, complimentary drinks... An 8min walk down a peaceful tree-lined lane delivers you to the beach front.
