Review 1：The interior of our unit was a little 'tired'. You can hear the neighbouring guests very clearly
Review 2：The view is very beautiful. The Restaurant on site 'Whales Way' is probably the best on Stradbroke. Exellent modern Australian food
Review 3：Not dislike - but a few things are getting tired like the cooker- can't read the knobs, a bit dirty, timer didn't work. A potato peeler would have been good - and a sharper knife. But perfectly adequate and we had a great time there - would go again.

Review 5：Unit 34 was pretty outdated but looked as though other units have been modernised. Kitchen utensils v old & unclean. Would have been so much nicer though if it had a really good clean (floor sticky, mould on blinds, fat spatters from BBQ on windows just a few). Chain smoker next door meant we had to keep front windows closed.
Review 6：The views out over the bay are spectacular. Nothing like having a shower and being able to see whales passing through! Nice little outdoor area.
Review 7：We were married on the lawn at the front of the resort which has the best view in Straddie! Fantastic location and super friendly staff. The restaurant and other facilities (pool, gym etched) were awesome. We loved our staff and will definitely be back.

Review 9：We loved every minute, it was in such a perfect and peaceful location over looking the sea and fauna, the staff were really friendly. But to be honest everyone on Straddie were really great and genuinely friendly - it was my kind of place and I would be happy to live there. The accommodation was everything we wished for, it was so perfect for us that I went to the local real estate to see if any of them were for sale. It was a dream house in a perfect location, and we had a dream vacation. I personally had the best holiday of the last 12 years where I felt truly relaxed. And hopefully there will be an addition to the family early next year. It was a place where dreams were made and maybe something more......

Review 15：It's a special treat to see the passing whales from the comfort of your own balcony. The units are in a great location close to the best beaches and apart from a steep hill, its an pleasant walk to a variety of beautiful beaches, the local pub and a coffee shop. My favorite coffee was from a cart right on cylinder beach.

Review 21：The apartment we stayed in was like using a friend's apartment, rather than staying in a hotel, so the fittings and furnishings are a bit variable. Clean and serviceable, though, and generally pretty well equipped
Review 22：Really need a car, which we didn't have. The hotel is up a big hill. Old fashioned furniture and worn out accessories. An example, the iron flex was completely worn away and we had to ask for it to be changed. If you have young children the stairs are a potential hazard as there are no spindles below the bannister, leaving a very large opening.

Review 48：The furniture and decor is quite shabby and outdated. The surfacecleanliness was pretty good, but there was lack of attention to detailin the kitchen. There was mould in the bench/tile grout, the kitchenappliances were grubby. All the sliding doors and security doors needthe frames cleaned. The locks were faulty or not working at all on the'security' doors. The ceiling lights in the bedrooms and livingareas were very low wattage, which made it difficult for my husband whohas night vision problems. The bedside lamps in the main bedroom hadswitches which were difficult to operate/faulty. The fridge workedok, but was quite scruffy on the outside. The outdoor areas off thebedrooms were unappealing .

The kitchen was very well equipped.Fully equipped laundry was a bonus. Ocean view was nice from the goodsized deck with a nice outdoor setting and bbq.
