Reviews for Arion Hotel
Review 1:Lack of Wi-Fi in the room, difficult parking, poor breakfast, poor TV channels, hard pillows
Review 2:Very kind staff, Cleanliness, value for money, location, view, heating, shutters (!),
Review 3:The parking is difficult (but it is like that for the whole village). It would be nice if they mentioned that the tap water is drinkable as it's from the mountain spring. Coffee and tea in the room would also be nice. The bathrooms are very small but they could do with a shelf in them for toiletries.
Review 4:The hotel was very comfortable and full of character. Just like a mountain chalet with amazing views.
Review 5:- staff at breakfast a little bit grumpy - quite noisy from inside noises (hallway, bathroom) - the first night was a bigger group arriving/leaving. Second night was Ok. o (for me not negative - just for information) WiFi was not working
Review 6:+ Amazing View from balcony + really nice welcome from receptionist
Review 7:The bathroo needs maintenance, in particular the shower Breakfast was terrible, just boiked eggs, yoghurt and canned fruit with some spreads and croissants. Were offered coffee but were limited to black instant coffee, there were no other options. The staff stood around and watched us eating, it was very uncomfortable.
Review 8:The balcony was great and the woman who checked us in was wonderful
Review 9:Clean facilities with polite and professional staff. Reasonablepricing.we forgot something in our room and they called us the checkoutday to say they are sending it to home address. Highly recommended.
Review 10:Bed mattresses need renewal, (back pain in the morning also form our friends staying at another room)
Review 11:Nice location, good breakfast, very clean rooms, great value at €40/night
Review 12:Bed mattresses need change, (back pain in the morning also from our friends staying in another room)
Review 13:Nice location, good breakfast, very clean rooms, great deal for €40/night
Review 14:The view from the lower story rooms is somewhat disturbed by unfinished buildings. My request for an upper story room had been confirmed, but at arrival I got a lower story room instead and 2 joint single beds instead of the booked double bed.
Review 15:Very friendly staff, very friendly cat, comfortable room and shower, nice breakfast, near archeological sites, view from upper story rooms.
Review 16:we ve booked a double bed from the site, but when we arrived there we found two beds separated.
Review 17:Very clean, with a wonderful view! The stuff was helpful and kind.
Review 18:Beds were super hard even for someone who likes stiff bedding. Wifi was very weak and needed to be in the lobby to use. Breakfast was mostly breads and spreads. Hard boiled eggs one type of meat and one cheese. Worst breakfast of the 3 Hotels I stayed at in Greece.
Review 19:Clean Nice staff. Great view
Review 20:Breathtaking view from the ensuite balkony - feeling of beeing on top of the world, alongside the Gods. Everything was impecably clean and comfortable. Best hotel we were in Greece.
Review 21:nothing
Review 22:A great hotel with good facilities and a breathtaking view. We had a room with a balcony with a fantastic view over the mountains and the Corinthian gulf. Bathroom and room were not huge, but big enough. The hotel also has rooms with little windows. Make sure you book a room with a balcony at the rear of the hotel. The setting sun is an experience !! Very friendly people behind the desk. You get a glass of wine as a welcome offer! Very close to downtown and quiet. For the door parking. In short, highly recommended. Do not expect huge luxury but a great hotel for really very little money.
Review 23:Just don't pay extra for the breakfast. Poor choice and cheap ingredients. Not to serve fresh orange juice in Greece is unforgivable!
Review 24:The room was fine and the view was delightful. Excellent value for money.
Review 25:A wifi connection was pretty weak in our room and TV showed only one channel. They recommend their taverna, but the food there isn't that great (we tried couple of times), so I probably would avoid that.
Review 26:A nice place, where you will get warm welcome with your arrival. View is really good in the balcony. Delphi isn't that big, so the tha bars and tavernas are about 250 meters to walk and ancient site is about 1 km, but you must walk it, because the view is amazing! Breakfast is a buffet with traditional greek ingredients as in every other place. Hard to beat value for your money
Review 27:No musquito net so we had to use air conditioning in the night; four beds in our room (we were 3 persons) - not enough space to move.
Review 28:Cleanliness, helpful host, nice room with Corinth Canal view.
Review 29:Room 403 has an amazing view over the valley. Very friendly staff and less than 10 min from the bus station. The affiliated restaurant is very good also.
Review 30:If any, I can only mention that breakfast is good but very basic.
Review 31:Great view from the balcony, in walking distance from the Delphi archeological site. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Quiet rooms.
Review 32:The shower head did not have a wall attachment and there was no shower curtain so you have to be very careful not to flood the place!
Review 33:Great room with nice modern bathroom. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Easy walking distance to the main road in town and to ancient Delphi. Fantastic view!!!
Review 34:no parking or water glasses in room, 2 beds joined to form a larger bed, no alarm clock
Review 35:good value, descent breakfast
Review 36:awesome view from the room!! perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening on the balcony
Review 37:Lovely, quiet location. Great breakfast. Clean room and helpful staff.
Review 38:We were only there a day :(
Review 39:Great location. Great staff.
Review 40:all it was good
Review 41:Nothing!
Review 42:Room view is amazing!
Review 43:Kind people, very good value for money.
Review 44:View, Location, Cleanliness - excellent value for money
Review 45:The bed was quite hard.
Review 46:Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, beautiful view!
Review 47:The friendly staff at the hotel.
Review 48:Perfect, nice breakfast and very nice staff. Great view over Delphi and region. EVGARISTW: THANK YOU!
Review 49:Amazing view of the mountain and sea We got welcome wine glasses as soon as we checked in. Breakfast was basic but OK
Review 50:I don't like Booking.com's survey about how I was traveling. I was traveling with my elderly father, so none of the choices were appropriate to my situation. You should have an option for "Other - please specify."
Review 51:Tour buses in the main street are a big problem, in my opinion, in Delphi, so having a hotel off the main street and away from the tour buses is really important. The Arion Hotel location was perfect - off the main street and no tour buses roaring by. Arion was nice and quiet, very easy to find, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Review 52:The ventilation fan in the bathroom was very noisy and annoying and would turn on together with the light. However, when you turn off the light, the fan stops, so it was not a big problem.
Review 53:The room had excellent view of the mountains, the valley and even the korinthian gulf. The location of the hotel in the village of Delphi was very convenient. The magnificent archaeological site is only 5 mins away by car. Breakfast was rich and nice. The rooms were comfortable, with heating during the cold nights. The staff were very nice. Everything was perfect.
Review 54:Nothing as such.
Review 55:Good hotel. Nice view and easily accessible. The staff was very friendly and the service was amazing. We specially loved the cleanliness around the room and also around the lobby.
Review 56:Only thing was the broken shower head - but it still worked fine
Review 57:Loved this hotel! We requested a sea view room and received it, it had the most amazing view over the Corinthian Gulf and the mountain Range. Lovely Staff, good breakfast. 15-20minute walk to museum and main Delphi sites (longer to the gymnasium and Sanctuary) Warning that it's a bit of a hike back up to the hotel, either hills or stairs (as is all if Delphi!) so not ideal if you would not like to walk. Wished we could have stayed longer! Welcomed us with a glass of wine which was nice after pulling our suitcases up the hill!
Review 58:Small but we expected this.
Review 59:Excellent staff, extremely helpful. Location superb for visiting Delphi Archaeological site. Beautiful view from balcony. Clean and inviting facility.
Review 60:The Arion is a tastefully decorated little hotel wih the most spectacular views. The photos dont do it justice but I cant say my bathroom looked quite as luxurious as this photo.
Review 61:Limited parking space around the hotel. Breakfast is basic as in many other greek hotels.
Review 62:Nice small hotel, offers great view on mountains and sea. Delfi Archeological site is in 15 min walking distance. Great for travellers by car. The personnel is very frendly.
Review 63:The breakfast was not very good. Very basic and little effort.
Review 64:We loved the view from the rooms, looking over the Gulf of Corinth. Very quiet at night.
Review 65:Breakfast was ok for the price, but it would have been nice to have had some real orange juice rather than the orangey drink that was served.
Review 66:The breath-taking view and the parking, much easier than in the town centre. The lady at reception was really nice and offered us a glass of wine. The room was perfect for the price paid!
Review 67:Breakfast is very basic and needs improvement. Hotel gave us a restaurant recommendation (EN DELFOI) that proved not to be not very good and with no views.
Review 68:Beautiful views. Very clean. Friendly staff even gave us a glass of complimentary wine to enjoy with the view.
Review 69:Everything was lovely from beginning to end. FIrst, we were extremelydelayed by the airlines and our estimated 5 pm arrival turned into a 2am arrival. I called Booking.com and they relayed to the hotel aboutour late arrival. The booking was modified (which we did not expect)and when we finally arrived at 2:05 am, there was a gentleman sleepingon the sofa in the lounge area waiting for us. He quickly handed us ourkey and led us to our room asking only for a passport. We also had anissue with our luggage and the staff informed us that the airline hadcalled about delivery to the hotel. However, when the the airlinefailed to deliver on the promised day, the staff tried to call tocheck. They even went as far as to call the bus station at the nexttown to see if perhaps our luggage had been forgotten about and stillon the bus. As it turned out, our luggage arrived the afternoon afterour check out time and the hotel staff allowed us to check out and holdon to our room key until it had arrived. Even after it had arrived, they offered us to use the room for the next 7 hours if desired, at nocharge! In addition to all this, we enjoyed a wonderful yet simplebreakfast, we had an amazing view from our balcony and all the siteswere nearby. We had a car so we would drive to the archeological sitesbut most everything else was within walking distance. Parking waslimited but we would park down the street and only have a short walk. You were given 2 keys, one for your room and one for the main door soyou could venture out after office hours. The price was a great valueand we will stay again if given the chance!
Review 70:The balcony was not quite big enough for two people to sit.
Review 71:We had a room with a view over the valley to the Gulf of Corinth that was breathtaking. The location within town was convenient to everything, though Delphi is small enough that most hotels are close to everything. The managers are also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was light, but adequate.
Review 72:Parking is a challenge, but possible on the street near the hotel if not too busy.
Review 73:The location in the middle of town near the church and school was excellent for enjoying the Easter festivities in town. Excellent view over the town from the balcony in our room.
Review 74:The room was a bit on the small side for 3 people, but we didn't stay in much anyway - there's too much to see and do in Delphi.
Review 75:This is a very nice hotel on a quiet side street but very close to the center of Delphi. We had a great view of the Gulf of Corinth from the balcony. The price was great for the value, with very nice breakfast included. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially Efi who greeted us with a glass of wine and helped in a minor laundry emergency :)
Review 76:The parking situation is a bit tight. There is no fridge or ice that is easily accessible.
Review 77:Everything else was great. The staff gave us a great restuarant recommendation and greeted us with a glass of wine.
Review 78:Shower was leaking
Review 79:Very helpful staff (the receptionist helped us with parking and resolved the issue with the arrival date - the issue itself arose due to our own error ;)), good breakfast
Review 80:Beautiful view comfortable and clean.
Review 81:Couldnt hang the shower
Review 82:Earthquake proof, felt it myself
Review 83:- Small bath- fairly small room
Review 84:+++ fabulous view towards the sea ++ welcome drink+ small balcony + not a the main noisy streets in town
Review 85:The hotel is centrally located with a georgous view of the mountains. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
Review 86:Effie was very helpful. We appreciated her letting us check in early. Good location. Enjoyed the wine at check in.
Review 87:Beautiful setting and beautiful rooms.
Review 88:Too small shower Old bed
Review 89:Location Friendliness of the staff (free glass of wine at arrival!)
Review 90:Beautiful view. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money.
Review 91:We had a room with a view - mountains and Corinth Gulf. Nice surroundings but probably that refers to Delphi town as such.
Review 92:Desayuno algo pobre Wifi solo en zonas comunes.
Review 93:Ubicación. Vistas desde el balcón. Relación calidad/precio
Review 94:beds a bit hard but pillows good.
Review 95:good views from balcony. Good air conditioner in room and room was clean. decent budget option.
Review 96:Awfull bath and towels. Poor breakfast. Uncomfort rooms without view.
Review 97:Staff was polite.
