Reviews for Pan Hotel
Review 1:No bad experience at all - we'll definitely return.
Review 2:The location is great as well as the atmosphere - you feel like at home. The balcony gives excellent view into the valley, you can see the mountains and even the sea in the distance. The breakfast is very nice, the staff friendly and ready to help. The bed is very comfortable.
Review 3:Proximity to the archaeological site of Delphi is great - walking distance? Staff were helpful in recommending local eateries for dinner. Breakfast provided was enjoyable. We only stayed for one night but it suited our family of 5. Great proximity
Review 4:Location and view were great. Staff was friendly. Appreciated breakfast being available early allowing us to see the ruins early before the tour buses arrived !!!!
Review 5:We found the bed a bit hard and not too comfortable but that was only a minor thing. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and the good breakfast more than made up for this.
Review 6:The owners were very friendly and helpful
Review 7:We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all necessary information. Everything was clean and well furnished. The breakfast was nice with greek youghurt, jams, bread with ham and cheese, olives and cookies. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 8:perhaps the street itself is not charming but within a few minutes of walking there a private marina with lots of cafes.
Review 9:good location for overnight for early ferries, walkable distance to port, reasonable price.
Review 10:We climbed the stairs to the second floor and got into a very nice and cozzy room with wooden ceiling looking like a mountain cabin. The best part of it was to open the door to the balcony from where you can face the impressive scenery of Delphi.
Review 11:Nothing like pictures, had to make up our own beds/ hard, austere white room no added comforts, hard pillow, hot, noisy on street, air conditioner didn't work, shower was broken, when I told owner it wasn't what we expected he said the other rooms were full, no views, breakfast ok nothing special . It was a miserable night
Review 12:Brother owners were nice
Review 13:It wasn't really a problem for us, but there's no elevator.
Review 14:Great location. Friendly staff. Breath-taking view from the balcony. Decent breakfast. Excellent room - awesome bed.
Review 15:Wifi connectivity was sporadic. There were three networks available and they dropped in and out. Beds were pretty hard, but that's common. On the far side of town from the museum, maybe an extra 10 minutes of walking.
Review 16:The room was cozy and had separate beds for all of us, a family of four with kids who don't like to share a bed. Basic accommodations, a nice balcony but looking onto a busy road. We only stayed for one night and this was just fine. The host had some really interesting stories about growing up in Delphi!
Review 17:Nothing!
Review 18:I appreciated the delicious breakfast, and that we were allowed to leave our luggage for safekeeping until our scheduled bus return to Athens.
Review 19:Our room was small and the walls very thin. We heard the air conditioning from an adjacent room going on and off throughout the night, and we also heard their toilet and shower. Would not reccommend this hotel.
Review 20:Wonderful view from our balcony and on the middle of the town. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast adequate.
Review 21:We wished there were tomatoes with breakfast. We saw one table had some brought as a special request. I guess we should have asked too.
Review 22:Even the breakfast salon included the view. The hotel was kept very nice and I enjoyed the skeleton key for unlocking the room.
Review 23:No fresh bread for breakfast on second morning of stay. WiFi reception variable.
Review 24:Excellent location with wonderful views over the town of Delphi and the Gulf of Corinth. Friendly, helpful staff who carried our cases both up and down the steep stairs to our top floor room.
Review 25:The only issue was a break in water supply outside the control of the hotel. But the owner handled it very well
Review 26:We liked the friendly manager/owner We loved our room with views over the valley
Review 27:The beds are quite uncomfortable.
Review 28:Friendly owner/manager kindly offered to drive our heavy luggage to the bus stop upon departure. Basic breakfast but fantastic home made yoghurt and olives from the valley.
Review 29:The view from our balcony was one of the best, most peaceful views I have ever had. The location is great, right in Delphi town, and easy to walk to the ruins. We would gladly stay here again.
Review 30:A bit old and run down. Gives the impression it is dirty. A little refurbishing could do. Breakfast was quite weak. Almost had to beg for a 2nd cup of coffee.
Review 31:Location View
Review 32:Silly little thing, but the top sheet was not tucked in so within minutes of going to bed each night I was in a tangle! The wifi was very slow on the top floor.
Review 33:This family run hotel is warm, comfortable and well situated. The staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable, not just about the arcaeological site but about local walking routes as well. The buffet breakfast was fresh and dishes, coffee pots, etc., were frequently replenished. Even latecomers came down to full platters and there was a great, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Review 34:Slight smell of cigarette smoke in the room but suspect that comes with most rooms in Greece- otherwise charming basic room.
Review 35:Asked for a room with a view- stunning view from the balcony. Greek breakfast was delicious- table was groaning! Owner was lovely too. Quiet hotel a few hundred metres from the site at Delphi.
Review 36:Everything great!
Review 37:It's been a pleasure stay a couple days at this charming hotel. Very familiar and rustic. Perfect to chill out. The room is spacious, with comfortable beds and it includes a balcony with great views. We traveled at winter and the room was so warm. The breakfast is incredible and gives you all energie to explore Delphi: coffee, juice, yogurt, fruit, toasts, cookies, jam, ham, cheese.... You can't ask for more! :)
Review 38:there is literally no soundproofing at all which can be a problem. we stayed at the ground floor and could hear the people staying above us loud and clear at all times. Also the room was a bit small and our bathroom (ground floor room) was literally tiny, a grown person cannot fit in the bath tub standing up.
Review 39:the hotel is at a very convenient location, in walking distance from the museum and archaeological site but also close to restaurants and shops. Very clean and cosy. We were welcome to use the fireplace at hotel artemis across the street which was great since it was extremely cold during our stay. the staff was kind and overall we, and our dog, felt really welcome.
Review 40:Walls were a little thin. We could hear our neighbors.
Review 41:The view from the balcony was spectacular. The size of the family room was perfect for a family of four (including 2 teenagers). The host was very kind, knowledgeable about the area, and always available. The breakfast was very good (best Greek yogurt and honey).
Review 42:Very tiny rooms, the keys were old fashion (which were cute) but a pain to open and lock the doors, no elbow room in the bathroom, could hear people snoring in the room next door.
Review 43:View from our window was nice, breakfast was really good, host was very nice.
Review 44:The only negative, no elevator. But no big deal. The manager offered to help with the bags. It didn't hurt that the whole place was decorated for the holidays!
Review 45:Loved the amazing sweeping view of the valley beneath you from the rooms balcony. Room was very comfortable and I slept with the window open for the lovely effect of the cool breeze. We arrived in olympis for the festival of st Nicholas and were able to watch the church members march through the streets with a band, culminating at the church on the peak of the hill. Bells ringing, people singing, it was great. Plenty of great restaurants with equally great views to eat at and a number of small supermarkets on the streets for fruits, drinks, snacks, incidentals and wine.
Review 46:It was a little cold and eating didn't come on in the room until early evening. Breakfast was standard but a little basic
Review 47:The staff were particularly helpful, allowing me to use their computer to print something and also bringing me tea and coffee on a tray. The room was pleasant with a lovely view and big, comfortable bed
Review 48:The room was very small, and like most European three-stars, transmitted more neighbor and hallway noise than American three-stars usually do. There's nothing they can do about either of those issues, though.
Review 49:The room was well appointed, the staff very helpful, and the view was great. When I came down for breakfast before they had the whole spread out, the server brought a generous selection out on a tray.
Review 50:Was all good
Review 51:Nice balcony, perfect place to enjoy sunset. Breakfast was good staff helpful. Took credit card, close to everything. Loved the town, the apollo temple, we spent 2 enjoyable days, suggest staying at least one night rather than the half day from Athens.
Review 52:A bit old fashioned but for the price fantastic x
Review 53:Very kind hotel owner who helped us read instructions for our rental car written in Greek! Carried bags upstairs and down again - lovely man.
Review 54:room near the stairs to the dining room near the reception - a little night noise coming guests. Maybe the problem was that there just was accommodating groups of school children ..
Review 55:very clean accommodation, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Good location, within easy reach of about 10 minutes to the bus stop and 15 minutes to attractions. In the case of nice weather, nice views of the surrounding hills and the Corinthian Gulf.
Review 56:The room was very very small with a very small bathroom. The remote control button was given only after begging for it. The outside temperature was 14 C and raining. But stay was ok for 1 night
Review 57:The rooms were clean and water was hot. The breakfast was the usual continental type and biscuits were delicious
Review 58:There wasn't anything we didn't like
Review 59:Beautiful views from the balcony. Really liked the hotel. Not a 4/5* but that was not what we were expecting - excellent value for money. Very attractive room. Bathroom on the small side but for one night, fine. Breakfast very adequate. Lovely village and helpful staff
Review 60:Classic Greek Hotel- simple and clean. good shower and breakfast. The owner was very helpful about suggesting good tavernas. After checking out we went to Delfi and got caught in a torrential rain storm- got soaked to the bone. We returned to the hotel and without a word they let us back into our rooms to dry off and change clothes!!! Thank you!!
Review 61:Nice hotel, Im not sure it worth the money.. There are cheaper hotels in the area (including the artemis that belong to the same owner). Breakfast was a bit poor. Poor Wifi in the room
Review 62:Nice view, close to the ruins.
Review 63:The hotel is located on the street that leads to Delfi, plenty of stores, restaurants just around the corner. View from the balcony is magnificent if you pay extra €2 for the room with a view.
Review 64:Unable to get wifi connection from our room. There is no lift and hence have to lift our luggage to our floor.
Review 65:Spacious and clean room with a good view. Nice setting in the lobby. We were able to capture good sunrise scene from our balcony.
Review 66:Rooms & balcony were a little small & the bathroom was tiny. Shower was hand-held only as wouldn't stay in the holder on the wall - still for the price it's nothing major.
Review 67:Cheap & cheerful - good value for money! Good location - it's slightly further to walk to Delphi ruins that some of the other hotels in town, but still only about a 10-15 min walk. Nice view from the balcony over to the coast. WiFi was actually pretty good considering the remote-ish location & actually better than we had in Athens! Breakfast not bad either for the price.
Review 68:The staff was gracious, helpful and kind. The location is great for a stunning view and close to the Sanctuary of Apollo. Parking is on the street and the front desk attendent was particularly helpful in helping me park my vehicle - trust me - it was very welcome :). Thank you for your hospitality.
Review 69:The view was beautiful. Breakfast was included and was good for starting our day. Owner was very helpful with directions. We had a nice set of rooms for families.
Review 70:Stunning views of the mountains and towards the Corinthian gulf from our balcony. Lovely breakfast room with views also. Ridiculously good value for money with a good breakfast included. Shower over full size bath so plenty of room.
Review 71:Breakfast quite limited Poor wifi connection Small bathroom, need renovation
Review 72:The stunning view from the balcony Well located Very nice and helpful manager Very decent price Advice: choose a room with view: it is slightly more expensive but everything is better: the view (of course), the quality of beds and the bathroom.
Review 73:Lack of ventilation in the bathroom & no hook for the hand held shower. The bed was a bit hard.
Review 74:The view down the valley & the good variety of food at breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would love to return to this hotel.
Review 75:No fridge No clothes washing facilities, and no commercial laundry in Delphi. CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE ARRIVING... or use some soap and the wash basin like I did Staff often went walkabout
Review 76:The view from the balcony if you get a rear facing room is magnificent Bed was reasonably good Restaurant down the road called To Patriko Mas was excellent Nice staff
Review 77:Room: Very small bathroom.
Review 78:Location: It was excellent, right in the middle of the main street close to all restaurants and souvenir shops. we had a balcony with a stunning view of the Corinthian Sea and mountains, with walking distance to the archeological Delphi site. Room: was well decorated, the bed was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast: was very good with a wonderful view of the mountains and olive groves.
Review 79:The owner of the hotel was outside when we pulled up in our rental van. The street was narrow and he helped us find a parking spot and moved his car to make space for our van. This was first day driving in Greece and it made our arrival in Delphi all the more pleasant. He reccomended a good restaraunt down the street and we were not disappointed. The pretty views from our room overlooked the valley and town and they were some nice decorations in the room as well. Highly Reccomned the Pan Hotel and Yannis (the owner/manager) for a good experience in Delphi.
Review 80:No view from our room(facing the street). Parking a bit uncomfortable in the afternoon (park on the parallel street which is unidirectional to the other direction, and go down ~50 stairs, then in the morning go up 50 stairs and bring the car to the hotel :) No elevator (although the manager took our luggage even without us asking him :)
Review 81:Nice breakfast. Very nice personnel. Good location very close to Delphi archaeological site. Next-door to a nice cafe/restaurant with excellent terrace with view.
Review 82:Bathrooms could be better equipped (shower curtain for example)
Review 83:Great location. Charming and friendly owner. Really values your well being. Nice value, happy to have breakfast included. Will recommend to future traveller's and friends.
Review 84:I was worried about slight cracking sounds that came from wooden roof. It was not necessarily caused by bugs, but I slept more peacefully after changing my sheets.
Review 85:I loved the view from my balcony. Breakfast was great. It was nourishing and was served very politely. I would stay here again if I would go back to Delphi.
Review 86:The bed was like laying on a plank with springs. It hasnt been updated for 20+ years, I'm sure. Pillows were fine, and everything else was great, but the beds left a lot to be desired.
Review 87:Location, clean and friendly service. Loved the continental breakfast and lots of free street parking. Strong wifi signal. Great overall value. Amazing view!
Review 88:Great place with the excelent view to Corints´ bay, very cosy rooms and pleasant cafe bar next door. Just a few minutes to archeological site and to the shops and cafes. Unforgatable staying in Delfi - wonderful place.
Review 89:Nothing. We had a perfect experience.
