Review 1：No fridge or tea and coffeee making facilities in the room - I know this is normal in Austria.

Review 2：Lovely hotel located in a quiet cove directly on Wolfgang lake. Family friendly service with good breakfasts and dinner. Lovely rooms particularly ones with a lake view and includes free Wi-Fi.

Review 3：Sadly all the lake view rooms were booked, but our room was still very pleasant. A residents lounge would have been very welcome to relax in.

Review 12：The position of the hotel was superb. It was on the side of the lake which had beautifully clear water and was away from the town. There were plenty of free activities based at the hotel for our teenage children to get involved with, eg swimming, cycling, boating and table tennis. The food was fantastic as were the staff.

Review 13：Fantastic location right on the lake shore at Fürberg, boat calls there for other villages around lake through Summer with St Gilgen either a few minutes by boat or c. 30 mins walking. Lake clean for swimming, bikes, pedalos, great food including fish from lake, very helpful staff, good hiking and plenty to do in the area while still being quiet and uncrowded. We loved it!

Review 21：The secluded location,yet close to everything on the lake via car or the boats thar traverse the lake. The entire staff, especially Mike and wife Caroline, and Receptionist Ulrika were so friendly and helpful. The lady chef provided some of the best meals we has during our 30 days in Europe.

Review 22：There was no minibar or kettle in the room but as the standard in the restaurant was so high we did not mind at all. Only minus was some guests being very loud in the car park at the back late one night but that is not the hotel's fault.

Review 23：The location is glorious, right on the lake side with the occasional steamer stopping right in front. The water in the lake is drinkwater quality and you can swim in it between the trout and the ducks. Although staying here is not cheap we felt it was worth it. The staff are competent and caring with very high quality upheld throughout the accomodation and grounds. The restaurant is of high standard with herbs etc from their own garden. The inclusive breakfast is amazing with an incredible array of fresh fruits, muesli, yoghurts, bread and bread rolls and cakes, cheeses, eggs in any form and cold meats. Good coffee and tea and fresh juices. Although we had a room with view over the woods it was of high standard and well maintained.Large bed and good bedding. Wifi good. Free parking. You do need a car unless you remain local during your stay.

Review 24：There isn't a huge amount to do nearby on a rainy day with children-there are board games provided in guest house and we took some of our own and luckily only had 1 rainy day;a dedicated games room would be great for days like that. The room was very hot (and no fan/air conditioning) until we opened windows in room and in outside corridor for a few hours.

Review 59：This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. It's difficult to express why exactly but everything about it is a bit special. The location is stunning and the large spacious and well equipped suites overlook the wonderful lake. It is homely, friendly and yet very professional. Undoubtedly the family ownership and attention to detail have a lot to do with it. The owner is the chef and the food is gourmet standard and excellent; breakfasts are wonderful and include eggs any way you want them. Best scrambled eggs ever! All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. It is a taste of Austria in a capsule. Do not expect an anonymous, international, boring hotel - this is different. Swimming in the lake with trout around your feet and swans and ducks around you is priceless. We shall be returning!

Please note that from April to June and from September to October, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. From November to February, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
