Review 1：The staff were tremendous. We travelled with our 15wk old son and were made to feel extremely welcome. At dinner a member of staff rocked out son in the pram so we could enjoy our meal together. I would highly recommend the Inishowen Gateway!

The food was terrible, the choice of menu was poor alomst everything was sea food, durning are meal almost every tabletable complained, the waiter's were very slow took almost 25mins after we had finished are meal for the table to be cleaned, then another 15 mins waiting on dessert menus. I would never return

Review 7：we had booked for evening meal in restaurant - food was great, hotel is great, but the staff really let it down, very unfriendly and unhelpful waitress, We has a 10 month old baby with us, as you can imagine drop food from his highchair, the next morning we sat at same table for breakfast, food still on the floor and table not wiped down - was disappointed, as everything else was so good

Review 9：Our wedding anniversary...had booked honeymoon suite but it was cancelled...we were informed 3 days before our arrival. Meal was just ok and service was awful! We got married here the year before and had a brilliant day but I will no longer be recommending it!

Review 11：The only thing I would change is the room we were staying in, it was on the ground floor looking out over the car park, which got noisy very early in the morning, people talking outside the windows, opening and closing car doors etc. At one point in the early part of the morning children were running up and down the corridor trying to open all the bedroom doors but this was of no fault to the hotel it was the parents! The next time I would just request a room with the fabulous views over the bay!

Review 12：We attended my cousins wedding reception in the hotel at the weekend and it was brilliant from start to finish! The staff are so accommodating and friendly and always smiling they couldn't do enough for us! The food was fabulous! The views are breathtaking from the back of the hotel! Such a beautiful view while eating breakfast and I believe some rooms have the pleasure of the view also unfortunately we didn't this time! The beds were very comfortable and lovely pillows not the usual hard pillows that you find in some hotels! We used the leisure centre facilities the following morning and it didn't disappoint, it was spotless! The pool is massive and so clean and the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were perfect temperatures! We definitely felt a lot freshers leaving than we did arriving! Our stay was short and sweet but we will be back!

Review 18：The room was spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of choice for the breakfast although we did not have lunch or an evening meal in the restaurant. The bar area was very comfortable with an excellent view and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean, the water temperature was fine and also enjoyed the steam room and the jacuzzi.

Review 30：Rooms are very out of date. We had three rooms booked two of which contained camp beds with very old blankets on them. Completely set aside from the rest of the decor. Room 404 smells very musty. Seems to be coming from the shower curtain and permeates the whole room. Time to come up to date gateway!

Also access to swimming pool was good to have, although we didn't use it. There is a beautiful view from the restaurant, and good beaches and walks nearby.

Review 50：Beautiful views overlooking the golf course but a bit of a walk (20 mins) up to the main street. Diggers were working by the water outside at night time so the beeping noise was annoying. Nice breakfast (porridge was very stodgy though & concentrate OJ) Staff very friendly at reception but cleaning staff were REALLY noisy. Cleaning the room opposite mine withthe door open, radio blaring & talking loudly on a sunday morning at 8am when I was trying to have a lie in after a wedding the night before.

Jacuzzi was out of order,it was bank holiday weekend and staff just laughed it off and made a comment about maintenance man coming sometime. 2.I asked for poached eggs for breakfast and was told after discussing with the chef that "this time" they would make them but to come earlier in future (I was in 15mins before breakfast ended). 3. 2course dinner menu was very basic, not great choice.

Review 71：The hotel offered a children's club, Planet Active, and while on a family holiday it was lovely to have this kids club for two and a half hours of an evening to allow my husband and I to enjoy a relaxing meal or drink at the bar! Our little boy absolutely loved it here! To know he was safe and happy was great!

On one morning, there was no juice, or fruit or pastries and even the plates were all gone! No one seemed to be checking the buffet - they were all busy re-setting tables.
