Guesthouse Thea sells fast on our site. Housed in a neoclassical building of 1913, Thea features elegant accommodation with views of the Aegean Sea from their patio or balcony. Symi Port is at 100 feet and free Wi-Fi is available.
With respect to the local style, all air-conditioned rooms are fitted with wooden floors and orthopedic mattresses. Each has a flat-screen, satellite TV, mini fridge and ironing facilities. A hairdryer and free toiletries stock the individually decorated bathroom.
Guests will find bars, shops and taverns within a short walk from Thea. The nearest beach of Nos is around 1,650 feet away, while Emporeio village is at 2.5 miles. Free public parking is possible nearby.

Review 1：Cigarette smoking from other guests' balcony limited use of our balcony.

Review 4：We had booked one night in Thea and were very positively surprised. Some days before arrival, I received an e-mail from the owner offering to pick us up from the ferry - and when leaving driving us downtown. The entire building was beautifully restored and the room was impressive with every single detail well thought through from coffee and tea selections, wine, and a full breakfast stored in the fridge free of charge. All amenities were there ranging from a first aid kit to small lavender bags on the hangers. The balcony was lavish with the most fantastic view of the port of Symi. We will definately be back and highly recommend this fine place to friends and colleagues.

Review 10：Everything was perfect: Panagiotis picked us up from the boat, insisted on carrying our bags himself, the house itself was renovated with care and taste, the room was very comfortable, the view amazing, and in the small kitchenette there was practically everything one would need for a basic breakfast on the balcony. Just grabbed some fruit, cheese etc. from the supermarket and it was perfect. Bed and bathroom also super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!
Review 11：Nothing, we liked everything about this hotel, have payed a lot more for a lot less. Some people might find the short climb of stairs a problem, but this is Symi, it's built on a hill, if you have a problem with steps, book someplace on the harbour front; but you will be missing out on one anazing view in a class boutique apartment.
Review 12：Perfect location, we had a room with a balcony that had an absolutely stunning view of the town and harbour. The room itself was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Panos collected us from the ferry, carried the baggage and showed us around the town, excellent service. The room itself was quite small but with the mezzanine floor with two extra beds we had ample room. We only stayed two nights but the bedding gave us the best nights sleep we had on our holiday.

Review 14：Thea is an amazing place and "Panos" is the man. He is creating wonders within this authentic Greek mansion which used to belong to his grandmother. Panos messaged us before our arrival and asked if we need to be picked up from the ferry. He even gave us ferry suggestions. We were already staying at another hotel, so he came and picked us up from there. Then at the end of our stay he took us back to the ferry; even gave us a last minute shopping chance on the way to the harbour. Thea is an authentic Greek mansion with all the contemporary neccessities. There are 5 rooms. The rooms are immaculately clean. We stayed at the courtyard room which is great if you are with a kid. Even this courtyard room has great view of the Symi harbor. There are 4 more rooms on the upper two levels. These rooms have balconies with a higher view of the harbor. Theas's location is the best of the best: You are very close to the Symi center and to the taxi boats (which you will use alot) yet the place is very private and secluded from the busy Symi center. It's at the starting point of the stairs going up to the Chorio (the village) on the hill. The room has kitchen amenities that you can prepare your own breakfast. You just need to buy the delicous Symi breads from the bakery very close to Thea. You have complementary wine, coffee, tea, yogurt, honey, butter, bottled water etc waiting for you. Except the first bottle of wine, all the others get replaced everyday. I will come back to Thea for sure, soon.

Review 30：The Apartments are beautiful. Furnished very tastefully. A lovely bathroom. Great views over the port. Breakfast ingredients are provided every day. The guy who lets out these apartments is also very amiable and helpful. Symi itself is also fantastic with water taxis leaving the port for the various beaches around the island. So we cannot recommend both the island and the accommodation highly enough. It was a fantastic experience.

We stayed in Elpida suit, room with a great view and excellent design. All details about the rooms are well thought and basically you have everything you need. It will be our obvious choice when we will come back to Symi.

The view over the harbour is fantastic (we stayed in the Astradeni room) and location is perfect. Rooms are well equipped. We were given water, milk and wine. Wifi was very good. Panagiotis, the owner, is very nice; he picked us up from, and dropped us off at, the port, showed us round and told us about the places to go.

Review 41：Everything about this place was first class. At the Thea every fine detail for your comfort has been thought of. Also even though room only the goodies for breakfast in the fridge that are replenished every day mean it as good as bed and breakfast.
Review 42：We were picked up by the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. He carried all our bags up the steps to the house where our apartment was on the top floor with the most stunning views over the harbour. The room was v tastefully decorated and spotless. We had a room with our teenage kids and all agreed it was excellent value for the price and v comfortable. We r used to staying in top hotels round the world and this compared highly with many of them. €160 for the 4 of us which we thought was good value. The boys had their beds on a floor above us like a balcony.
Review 43：There are around 50 stairs to climb to get to the apartment. We had a light weight stroller which was easy to carry up the stairs. The trade off is once you are up - what a fabulous view and apartment.
Review 44：Panos is such a fabulous gentleman. From the minute we arrived till the moment we left, Panos was available for our every need. Lovely touch having the fridge stocked every day with the essentials. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean. Every feature was well thought out, in particular, the ability to tilt the doors open to let in fresh air and not let the toddler out onto the balcony ;) Air conditioning was fabulous. The views from the balcony were amazing. Well worth the extra effort required for the steps. Hopefully we will be back again one day soon.

He helped us with our very heavy luggage, find a crib for our baby and never let us down when we had a problem like extending our stay with no available room. The location, decoration, view from the apartments, cleaning, thougtfully stocked kitchenette, complimentary bottle of red wine welcoming us, I mean everyting was perfect.

We were happy to spend hours on the balcony watching the boats come and go from Symi's stunning harbor. Review 78：Amazing apartment - amazing place! They cant do enough for you. All brand new furniture/interior. Wine and juice waiting on your arrival - the views are unreal. you need to be able to walk up and down steps to visit the island.

The fridge and kitchen is restoked with water and breakfast goodies - all you need is a trip to the bakery, and your breakfast with seaside view is complete!
