Reviews for Parnassos Delphi Hotel
Review 1:We didn't really need it, but the elevator was broken. Repair work messed up the whole lobby. Seemed to be understaffed.
Review 2:Nice designs and furnishings. Quite comfortable.
Review 3:It claim 23 m2 room, we got hardly 17. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was 50X50 cm with curtains that where short so the floor was flooded.
Review 4:The staff was OK
Review 5:Very good location, amongst Delphi's shops and restaurants. Lovely, friendly staff, who provided local information and made us delicious coffee and toasties at breakfast, before supplying us with water bottles for our walk to see the Delphic sanctuary (all of their own accord!) Our room was large, quiet, clean, and very comfortable.
Review 6:It was close to the archaeological site so we didn't have to move the car. We were there only over night but it was clean and comfortable and breakfast made it easy.
Review 7:From the review, I thought that the Delphi site was closer and walking distance. On arriving, found out that we had to take the car. Wi-Fi was not that good (found the same everywhere in hotels in Greece)
Review 8:Room was large and the hotel was in the middle of the town (location).
Review 9:No Heating in the Room. No extra blankets. We were trembling from cold. The breakfast was very poor No cable tv
Review 10:except from the location (near to Arahova) nothing else is positive for this stay
Review 11:Shower is too small. WiFi sometimes was unreliable cutting off connection too often.
Review 12:Excellent location, only a short drive to Arachova and Mt Parnassos (and Itea too). Very attentive staff, not intrusive but always available when you need them. Room was clean, very large bed. Reception room with fireplace to die for! I definitely recommend and would return if in the area.
Review 13:No sound insulation outside of room.People passing through during the night and sometimes was annoying.
Review 14:Breakfast was excellent. Bed was nice. Hall was beautiful and decorated in Christmas mood. Cleanliness in the room-everyday was clean. Kind Staff
Review 15:Poorly located for a view. I suggest a hotel on the opposite side of the street where all of the structures are on the hillside overlooking the valley. The view from a window there on the back of a hotel would be fabulous.
Review 16:We had selected a triple room with balcony for the advantage of getting a little larger room. It was located in the back of the hotel looking out onto a little garden and, although on a busy street, there was no traffic noise.
Review 17:Small room, small balcony with a view on the busy main street. Delphi does have a magnificent view over the valley, which you can see from several restaurants. Would be great if this hotel had that view.
Review 18:Breakfast was fine, proper coffee made to order.
Review 19:The breakfast was brilliant! A full continental buffet spread including a made to order cappuccino. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable with a nice view. A real bargain for how cheap it was. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and stay there again.
Review 20:Shower very small and elevators the tiniest I've ever seen
Review 21:Staff especially helpful and lovely, great location, walk to everything, room a good size and very clean, nice breakfast
Review 22:The breakfast is not very "luxury". We met a group of Russians and was impossible to find anythin
Review 23:In the main street, very beautiful. The owner was very attendant and give us a lot of information about the place. The second floor rooms are excellent with a little terrace.
Review 24:The coffee was not my quality. To cold and did not taste well.
Review 25:Very nice hotel near museum and very friendly staff.
Review 26:Noise and 2single beds together
Review 27:Breakfast and staff
Review 28:Excellent staff. Excellent to talk with.
Review 29:No drinking glasses in room. Balcony had one chair only.
Review 30:Walking distance to Archaelogical sites.
Review 31:in the center of the town
Review 32:Breakfast
Review 33:The hotel employees, at check-in desk, at bar and at breakfast were just perfect!
Review 34:Nothing
Review 35:Everything
Review 36:Friendly, helpful staff. Great, convenient location.
Review 37:Close to attractions. Very quaint. Staff were helpful, they lent us an umbrella. Breakfast was good.
Review 38:No parking near hotel (I was parking at 100m distance), I could not connect to the internet.
Review 39:Good location, clean room and bathroom, good breakfast.
Review 40:Helpful staff. Great location. Good breakfast.
Review 41:Comfortable rooms, very clean, wonderful location, good breakfast.
Review 42:Small, inadequate bathroom.
Review 43:Wfi didn't work in our room
Review 44:The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Location was good Good value
Review 45:breakfast was cleared away ay 10 am, we arrived just before. So the staff must have started clearing away some 20 mins before. If breakfast is to 10am they should not start clearing away until then.
Review 46:near to ancient sites, 10 mins walk away.
Review 47:the shower was very small and the drape not efficient, all the water was going on the floor.
Review 48:the location is good, distance to the site is ok and there are a lot of shops close by. Breakfast was good and sufficient. The staff is very nice. The room looks nice and the balcony is great for drinking a bear and relaxing,
Review 49:Narrowness of the street outside and lack of any real side-walk on the streets.
Review 50:Excellent location. Accommodating, courteous and friendly staff from reception to housemaids. Rooms good size and airy. Bathrooms fair size and well set out. Walking distance to Delphi site and Museum. Popular lobby and lounge area frequented by locals as well, very inviting. Breakfast adequate and again staff serve with a smile!
Review 51:Wifi was not working initially but eventually did after a few hours. There was a shower rod but no shower curtain, makes it a littledifficult to shower and not make a mess, should have called but wasimpatient.
Review 52:Breakfast was held longer for us since we slept in late. The ownerprovided converter for our electronics. The staff was friendly and wentout of their way to accomodate our needs.
Review 53:Bed was two singles pushed together but when I asked for a double the option for a double was a smaller room at the back. A good double in the front room would have been perfect but we booked late so we got what was available.
Review 54:Staff were excellent and happy to help. Guest area was really nice and comfortable. Location had a nice view of the street. Room was very warm and the facilities were faultless. Breakfast was basic but good value for the price.
Review 55:There was a high school group staying when the night we were, the hotel can be pretty loud when students start slamming doors. Though the chaperones could have done a better job settling down the kids.
Review 56:We had one night stay at the hotel. The desk clerk was very helpful when we arrived, and helped us get orientated in the town, and recommended a fantastic place for supper. The breakfast set us up well for a day of exploring. Thanks.
Review 57:Breakfast could have been wider. And, when it says "orange juice" it means orange squash. That was an issue in a few places I went to though.
Review 58:All hotels in Delphi will have a great location, if in Delphi, as the place is so small. Some, though, on the south side of the main street I expect, will have incredible views too. This hotel didn't; buildings in the way. Room clean, breakfast reasonable as a continental one.
Review 59:One negative - it's soundproofing.
Review 60:26-27 October 2013. Russia. Arkhangelsk. Family. We came to Delphi to visit one of the most attractive places in Greece, covered with legends, the temple of Apollo and the Delphic oracle. Delphi we loved. It is quiet and peaceful. Friendly locals. Many shops, small hotels. Scenic view of the Gulf of Corinth. We stopped Parnassos Hotel Delphi.Comfortable and clean hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Spacious family room with fireplace, large windows and views of the garden. Corresponds to the description on the website. A hearty breakfast. Excellent signal wifi.
Review 61:Unfortunately there were Serbian students staying on the first 2 nights, no fault of the hotel or the staff, but the knock and run at 1am was really not good
Review 62:The room was fresh and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was amazing
Review 63:Parking is on the street so you might need to park quite further away.
Review 64:Very helpful nice staff. Good location. Nice room with a small balcony. Clean. We got a great price. At a full price you might consider other hotels in the village.
Review 65:Stale smell of cigarette smoking in hallway; very old, rundown room with ugly decor of half-naked greek godesses; weak wifi signal
Review 66:Very friendly staff, close to Delphi Archeological Site
Review 67:The beds are a bit hard, but that seems to be the case in all of greece. So no problem.
Review 68:The owner was very friendly, explained the sites and how long it would take us to walk there. Very helpfull! Room was small but clean. Bathroom could use a tune-up, but everything worked! So no complaining. For one night it was everything you could want for a very reasenable price. There was not a great view from the hotel, but we were not expecting that, because of earlier reviews.
Review 69:Plenty of flies near the toilet which made us avoid having a shower in that bathroom, not to mention the terrible noise after every single flush of the water, imagine that during the night when my partner was trying to sleep:( another thing was our request for a double bed since it was a romantic trip, but we got instead 2beds, maybe they didn't have an available one but some apologises would have been nice though...plus after a long hot day,32 degrees,we expected a clean fridge to chill our beverages n sweets..didn't happen either!! No extra plug:imagine only one plug for 2 phones, a camera, a laptop and their fridge?) i had to put my laptop on the floor near the bathroom in order to charge it! pretty disappointed..
Review 70:Room with balcony, very good breakfast, strong wi-fi connection but unfortunately that wasn't enough:(
Review 71:This was incorrectly advertised with two or the photos incorrect. Wewanted a water and mountain view as this what we had been told to lookfor when booking a hotel by friends. The photos he has on the siteshowed this but believe me you are not on the mountain water view sideof the road - you look at the hotel across the road. Extremelydisappointing - we had to wait until 8 pm that night for the manager whosaid the photo's are of the restaurant a few doors away over theroad that did have a great view.
Review 72:hospitality. People are so friendly, helpful and enthousiastic. The kids felt at home. Rooms are clean and comfortable with airconditioning and tv (not that you would need a tv). Breakfast was included and very good. Lots of greek products to taste from. Museum and archeological site are 300m away and easy to reach. There's plenty of souvenirs and restaurants.
Review 73:This hotel was amazing value, very comfortable well presented and very friendly helpful staff. It is walking distance to archeological sites yet in the centre of town. Best value stay we have had on our 3 month travels.
Review 74:The staff was very accommodating, attentive, and genuinely sincere. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I had a very nice sleep--much needed rest from the long travel and rejuvenation for the next day's exploration.
Review 75:The room, with a balcony on the street side, was comfortable with good wi-fi reception. Buffet breakfast is good and the english speaking staff helpful and friendly. Short walk to the archaeological site and museum with lots of shopping and good tavernas close by.
Review 76:Breakfast was average, but tolerable. Coffee made to order, nice, andbreakfast staff very friendly.
Review 77:Clean, friendly, rustic Greek, close to Delphi sites, great staff, socourteous, inviting lobby and lounge area, good food nearby
Review 78:I did not like the fact that we couldn't sleep at any time of the day due the noice coming from the thin walls and the too noisy room doors!!!
Review 79:Location.Just 8 km from arachova and a walking distance from Delphi.Really friendly stuff.
