Review 1：They called a doctor for our daughter who told us she had a earinfection and charged us alot of money for consultation and antibiotics,we had to go to another doctor as she didnt get better and found out shehad no ear infection at all so the doctor was a fake and a rip off..

Review 3：Very friendly staff, nice pool area and spacious room. Small and delicious breakfast buffet on the top restaurant. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the bio reef. We also got free snorkeling equipment from the hotel, which was very helpful! We can also highly recommend doing a snorkeling trip to Menjangan Island with them - fair price and it was just amazing!

Review 4：When we arrived there was a lot of mosquitos in the room, but hopefully there was a mosquito net. We were supposed to get a packed breakfast as we left early the last day but it appears they forgot about it.

Review 22：The owners are very accommodating, they even let us check out a bit late when we came back late from a volcano trip and needed to shower. The rooms, pool and food are also very nice. They can also arrange snorkeling and diving trips.

Review 29：Located 5 minutes from the beach by coral reef project makes it a perfect choice location wise. There are some tasty warungs lining the paths to the beach which means everything is close by so you can focus on relaxing. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable. The staff are there to help if needed and can arrange activities to the marine park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Review 35：The pool was just the right temperature and so convenient. Breakfasts were included and were delicious. Snorkeling equipment was also included in the very reasonable room cost.

Review 36：Despite the chef being good, things not made by the chef are not particularly good (we had to return a couple of dishes). The dishes in general are extremely small so they end up being rather expensive. I would recommend just going to the beach and eating at one of the beachside resorts. The hotel is a bit far from the beach (maybe good for some?). You might be charged for things outside your booking terms and conditions, like a penalty for using credit cards.

The management looked after our needs and organised two ( snorkelling and birdwatching within the National Park) "trips" for us.

Review 45：The staff was very helpful and kind, before and during our stay. Nice pool, adequate food, good advice on upscale local restaurants, etc. Very convenient that they have a driver dormitory when you are traveling with a driver.

Review 46：Wifi only on common area, but not that big a deal for us as there's plenty of space to chill out and chat on open air couches and poolside. Next door neighbours were either practicing for a dance or just liked one particular song as it was played loudly on repeat for most of our stay. We enjoyed the power outages a lot. Review 49：It's more than just a homestay. I stayed in the family room towards beautiful and cozy garden with the swimming pool. The room is very spacious, it can accomodate for 5-6 persons.The bathroom is very clean and artistic. The spot i love the most is the open gazebo at the 2nd floor where you can gaze the stars at night, and you can do Yoga towards beautiful mountain scenery during the day. I think the owner really considered every single detail when they built it. The owner,natalie, is very hospitable to all guest, and there always security officer stand by and ready to help the guest during the night. The breakfast is simple but nice, pineapple pancake, banana pancake, fresh milk, toast bread with egg, and unlimited juice, coffee and tea :). Banyuwedang, the pier to Menjangan Island, the best snorkeling and scuba dive spot in Bali, is just 20 minutes drive from the homestay. Pemuteran bay where you can swim and snorkeling is just 5 minutes walking

Review 50：The food was great, it was really comfortable and quiet, the rate was reasonable AND we booked snorkelling through the hotel. It was all so easy and affordable. Don't change anything! :-)

Review 51：Lot of French people clinging together, laughing out loud with the French owners. Owners just talk to them, don't even say hi to other clients when entering the building, getting their breakfast before customers etc. One night our ac broke down, as well as the electricity and water. Went down at 5.30am, it was getting really hot. Had to search for staff somewhere, found one in the kitchen. This staffmember responded with 'I don't know' and walked away. At first thought she was going to ask someone else, but that was it... When asking again, it was told I had to wait for an hour untill the owner would arrive... Upon arriving of the owner, I had to draw her attention first and asking her about the ac (it was too hot to sleep...), she said 'okay we will make it' and walked away to her office. After 15 minutes I walked into her office and asked if someone was already taking a look at it? 'Oh no in the afternoon'. "Yeah well, I can't sleep...'. Her husband took a look at it, but it couldn't be fixed. They did call a mechanic anyhow, who fixed it later. But because of no shower and ac went to the beach and slept in the afternoon.

Review 52：After reading other reviews, we were wondering if we were at the same hotel. The hotel itself is fine; nice swimmingpool, rooms are fine (ac could be cooler), it is reasonably clean, looks fine, distance to the beach is okay (6min walk). But we didn't like the atmosphere at all, we felt really really unwelcome. There are definitely better options at Pemuteran like Taman Sari, where we stayed during the day.

You will find the best food in town (much better than local restaurants) at a much better price, a great swimming pool and a friendly atmosphere. Review 58：Restaurant "Frangipane" which seems to be affiliated to the hotel. It took 3 waitresses 45 mins to serve an expensive meal. The tuna wasnt cooked and had to be sent back and the whole place was completely lacking in atmosphere. 80's music playing in background - Did we really come all this way to listen to Abba? Some local music might overcome some of the lack of atmosphere issue.

Review 59：A good start for this new hotel. Good location near excellent diving and scub spots. Nice breakfasts. Don't come expecting flower petals and artistically folded towels - its not that sort of hotel, but a great location on the less discovered northern coast. The beach does not have the beautiful sands of the Gili isles, lombok etc, but having said that, we used sunbeds and nobody hassled us for money, and no beach hawkers. Unless you are on a tight budget, the hotels on the beach seemed to offer the best food and value.

Staff and mainly direction are really cool to get out of your stress. Wifi access is better in the vast lobby/swiming pool, influencing people to meet one at each other. Review 120：The family room was great with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Convenient location, no road noise as the property is set back 200 meters from the main road. It is another 100 meters or so to the beach and it's a straight shot to the biorock snorkeling area. There are several excellent local and resort restaurants within walking distance. They will arrange all transport and excursions such as hiking in the National Park and day trips to go diving and snorkeling with the professional on-site dive shop. Very comfortable and trouble free stay.

Review 121：On-site dive school made our snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island very easy. Great bidet toilet, and hot showers. Lovely pool. Very friendly owner and dive staff. Supermarket close by with reasonable prices for grog etc... (Free) WiFi was no slower than other places in Bali - nearly all internet connection is via the mobile network (not cable or adsl) and is slow when the network is congested (lots of users) - what do people expect for free?
