Homestay Taruna is located in a tranquil Balinese village, a 3.5-hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The homestay has a tour desk and provides free Wi-Fi in the entire property and massage services.
The rooms are simple and fitted with freshly laundered beddings. They all have an en suite bathroom, a fan or air conditioning and a desk. Views of the garden can be enjoyed from all rooms.
Gilimanuk Bus Station is a 30-minute drive from the homestay, while Lovina Beach is about an hour’s drive away. Bicycle rental services are provided by the homestay for guests who wish to explore the region on their own.
Taruna Homestay has a restaurant on site which serves Indonesian dishes and local specialities. Room service is available.

Review 1：I loved everything about this homestay; from the friendliness of the staff to the immaculate gardens and pool. I will definitely be returning to Taruna Homestay for my next Bali holiday. The rooms are also very spacious and lovely. I loved the outdoors bathroom and shower.

Restaurant meals are good and the highlight of our stay was when we were treated to a traditional angklung performance by one of the kitchen staff.

Everything has been thought of in this homestay, including kimonos and a beach bag available in the rooms for use while you're staying here. Swimming pool is the ideal temperature and the little shop out the front sells some great stuff. dont think twice just a stay here.

Review 13：If i would not have brought my own moskitonet there would not have been one for the extra bed of my doughter. But the staff helped me to install my own net . The homestay would be 100% perfect if located on the beach(500m away). No fridge in room.

Review 20：This place is incredibly nice. We stayed for 5 days in Pemuteran for diving and hiking. The homestay employees are all off the Taruna family and really friendly and open hearted and minded. Even if this review might get a touch of being exagerated: This homestay is the best place I have ever stayed in!

Review 21：The wine selection was mediocre at best and the fish of the day wasn't what it should have been.

Review 24：The food is delicious!! People from other resorts come to have dinner at Taruna. They really make you feel at home and they do everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. We had nothing to complain.

Review 25：Take your own shampoo n conditioner, none provided. The food was fantastic with 2 exceptions -shrimp weren't worth it (small and tough, like from a packet of frozen) and the tempura was like eating cork (but that could just be me).

Review 26：Loved the outdoor scenic bathroom, the massages, the overall comfort. The snorkeling from the beach (a 5 min walk away) was lovely. They are doing a great job of rejuvenating the coral. Tip: Take a sting suit (a light cloth version of a wetsuit). We bought them online and were protected from sunburn and the tiny stingers that can (and did) get brought in on the tide.

Review 30：Had a great stay on beautiful grounds with friendly and attentive staff! There aren't too many rooms unlike some other resorts, so it was a quiet and relaxing stay. The outdoor bathroom was an interesting (probably spa-like?) experience. Beds had mosquito nets that housekeeping came in to put down for you every night. We also enjoyed a Balinese crepe cooking demo and the food served at the restaurant was good!

Review 42：It is difficult to prioritise the various excellent features Tarima Homestay has to offer. Probably, the friendliness and General helpfulness of all. The staff takes some beating . Tjjhe roomy and spotlessly clean bungalow accmmadation, the quirky but efficient outside shower , and the immaculately maintained gardens all combine to provide a very pleasant holiday experience in this quiet yet beautiful resort on Bali's North west coast. Highly recommended.

I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to everyone. The hotel team's attention to detail was superb with little touches like fresh flowers in our room and friendly greetings whenever we saw a member of staff really making our stay. Review 44：Taruna himself is a champ. All the staff are very nice and cute. Lovely rooms and atmosphere. Lots of fun to just lounge by the pool. Great food at the restaurant! Were very helpful in helping us with organising activities and transport.

Review 46：After a long trip and lots of crazy drivers in Bali, we arrived late just after midnight and the owner welcome us and it was a very good surprise that the place was clean and nice and friendly..etc. Internet was working quite well. food was exclelent but if you don't like spicy just tell that you don't need spicy otherwise what is a little bit spicy for locals might be very spicy for you :) The food was freshly prepared every time, no precooked meal. A very good choice

Review 56：The taxi driver both to and from the airport didn't help my partner with her bag and generally talked down to her. Unacceptable. Staff would be 'excellent' but for him.

Review 62：Only downside is the location near a busy road and the lack of a scenic (sea)view, although garden and view of the mountains make up for this. Traffic noise is eliminated in the new restaurant and did not bother us anyway, but might if you're a light sleeper. Restaurant can become a bit hot despite the fans, maybe a few extra? But all these are just minor things, would say excellent value for money!

Review 63：We stayed here for 5 nights. Now on Bali hospitality is a great thing, but staff at Taruna's is taking this to the highest level. They'll do everything to make your stay pleasant and their intentions feel honest. The list of services is huge and although you might arrange things cheaper yourself like anywhere else on Bali, they don't overcharge you like in the big resorts. Food is excellent and makes you not want to leave for lunch / dinner (we only did this for variety). The garden is green and lush, every day they pick flowers and put them on your bed, in your bathroom etc...The swimming pool is nice and the right size. Would really recommend and come back!

Review 64：Without telling me, they charge me 50'000 idr to borrow me palm andmask to do snorkeling. This should be included. The road is a bit noisy,the curtains not completely dark, there is no view and you have to walka bit to go to the beach but finally I ve enjoyed everything, to wake upat 6am to walk to the snorkeling area was a blessing. A detail, themusic in the restaurant is usually too loud.

Review 65：Everything was great! I ve been in many places around the world and Ireally think it might be the best one. I never rate an hotel 10/10,this one is really an exception and they deserve it. It is a very simpleand welcoming Homestay, so if you go there please respect this place anddon't act as a complaining customer.

Review 66：Well the location is not the closest to the beach but it is not a long walk either :) We left the Taruna home with a driver that they arranged and it was not the nicest experience but I guess we also announced very late that we need a driver - the one we talked to got sick just that day..

The breakfast was great and so were all the meals we had there, same was the spa and the pool :) I could not thank these people more for the good relaxing times we had there. Review 82：We have been travelling though Indonesia for for over a month and have stayed at many different hotels- Taruna home stay was one of the best! The staff was exceptionally friendly and they are all related to one another, you can feel that they get along very well and it really does feel like a homestay. On arrival you get a fresh fruit juice and a map of the area. Lovely garden and nice, clean pool. The new restaurant is finished (so no more road noise) and we had lunch and dinner there for 3 days. We were always very pleased with the food- it was so fresh and noticably good quality. One day of the week they offer a free cooking class where they teach you how to make a simple dish. Laundry service is cheap and good!

Review 83：A bit too much noise from the traffic. Maybe that is only a problem with the rooms closest to the road. We stayed in room 01 which is the fourth room from the mainroad.

I'd recommend Taruna Homestay for anyone visiting Pemuteran - yes it is a fair distance from South Bali, but there is plenty to see and do, and if it is relaxing you want, this is a great place.
